  1. A lot of quarterbacks look like absolute trash early on. Aaron Rodgers was sketchy in preseason behind Favre. Sticking with Green Bay, Jordan Love may finally be emerging after looking “lost” many times in limited action in the past. obviously Corral is not the perfect prospect, but he has the clay to mold into a productive starter if the light bulb comes on. The duo of Kyle Allen and Matt Barkley are just wasted roster spots, imo.
  2. We already know Beane tried to get Trey Lance. Corral has elite arm talent and he is also incredibly mobile. If anything at all happens to Josh’s Allen we are sunk. Corral might make things interesting.
  3. The Bills need a talent infusion at backup QB, and Corral is far more talented than the players currently on the roster. He was Chris Simm’s #1 QB in the draft last year, but more importantly, his dual threat ability would be a revelation for a QB learning and developing under Josh Allen. He would be an amazing scout team QB if nothing else. Put a claim in Buffalo!
  4. Given our QB depth, I’m disappointed we didn’t get him. https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/171172-report-bills-tried-trade-lance-before-49ers-cowboys/
  5. The Bills also tried to trade for him. Our backups are terrible. I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t get him. https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/171172-report-bills-tried-trade-lance-before-49ers-cowboys/
  6. His only punt with the team
  7. We could have had Swift for the price Beane paid to move up 2 spots.
  8. If they are going to bring in Campbell I’d like to see Bruce Smith throw on his #78 for a few downs each game.
  9. I’m flabbergasted at how many people are willing to trade a first for Jeudy. This isn’t a pro bowl player we are talking about, but a career underachiever in the pros.
  10. Schoen and Daboll appear to have been the brains behind our operation. The franchise should have kept them and let Beane and McD go.
  11. We really messed up allowing Kadarius Toney to go the Chiefs.
  12. I want Rashaad Penny as a compliment to Cook if Bijan doesn’t make it to 27. Williams is just a guy, who had an outlier year last year but has no remarkable skillset as a RB.
  13. I still think “we should’ve had Justin Jefferson” every time I watch Diggs. Getting Lamb for him would be a steal.
  14. The Bengals are a terrible matchup for Buffalo. Had Baltimore pulled the upset last week the Bills would be going to the AFC championship game. Cincy is built to exploit all of our weaknesses. Chase is arguably the best WR in the NFL. Plus, to all of you talking about firings, do you remember where we were for almost 2 decades!?! I am enjoying this run. Josh Allen makes you a contender all by himself. Maybe next year the ball bounces our way.
  15. Wyatt Teller still is the worst, but Hodgins is moving up the list.
  16. In Whaley’s defense, many “experts” were calling him the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson.
  17. I remember Gabe Davis’s trainer was raving about Sammy in the off-season. Sammy and Gabe apparently trained together. I wouldn’t mind bringing him in for a workout.
  18. SAMMY WATKINS, GREEN BAY PACKERS Unprompted, Bert Whigham — Gabriel Davis' trainer quoted above — talked up Watkins, who’s also working out in Orlando with Davis. … “That guy is going to be good for the Packers. He started working with us like seven weeks ago, and he said he wanted to be ‘college Sammy.’ Sammy is going to have a big year. He told me, ‘I want to be Clemson Sammy Watkins.’ And I was like, ‘OK, let’s do it.’ He’s just up there squatting 405 for eight right now like it’s nothing. He started around 218, and he’s at 225 right now, too. He’s going to go be a No. 1 in Green Bay. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-wide-receivers-bigger-roles-2022-gabriel-davis-sammy-watkins
