NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - Post Game Thread
Nephilim17 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know you're being sarcastic but the point may be that after 3 years this is what we're gonna get. He's on a cheap contract next year but I don't know if the Bills extend him — or if they should. He needs to step it up. However, like with Edmunds, I'm not sure the age factor plays any more. After multiple years in the pros I think you're mostly seeing what a player is and will be. Yes, incremental progress is possible but I'm not holding out for significant improvement. I think we fell in love with an idea that Gabe can be dominant after the KC playoff game but it's now looking like an outlier and not close to what he is most Sundays. -

Milano and Diggs are the two best Bills this year. -

Great play by Knox — we need another weapon to emerge now, especially with Davis being so undependable. -

Hines might single-handedly get us the number 2 seed. -

He's running a lot harder for tough yards this year but turnovers and lack of the extra gear hurt. -

Really impressed with Cook — he has the sure hands he was drafted for and the speed, but he also can run up the middle and move forward when tackled. Many here didn't expect that. Good to see. The Bills are gonna unleash the run game in full measure now... -

Weren't people talking after the last playoff game about how we should lock up Davis before we can't afford him? Yeah, glad we didn't. -
Ravens Waive DeSean Jackson. Should Bills sign?

It's not in their best interest to show the world and teams how they've slowed down. No player would willingly do this unless, early in their career, they did some speed training and improved their 40 time. But I think those guys are few and far between. -

I can't believe how the stadium is going nuts for a touchdown when the game is still a blowout. Expected a more competitive Raiders squad tonight. Disappointed. -

What are you doing on a Bills site when there's a KC Raiders game going on? Are your own people that uninteresting or ignorant that you seek the company of Bills fans right now? -

Jacobs needs to have a big game and some chunk plays if the Raiders want any hope. -

A guy on the KC sideline had a "3 Love For Damar" shirt. For a franchise I hate, that's a pretty cool thing. But I hope the Raiders beat Mahomes, Kelce and the Chiefs senseless today. Figuratively speaking. -

He is improving.... Great news. Holy cow. -
Yes, we will in all likelihood (because KC will almost certainly beat the Raiders) play the WC game. But... We missed over 3 quarters of football playing Cinci. Yes, we had an enormous injury plus a substantial one to Johnson but anything could have happened — to Josh, Steph, Milano, the O-line — in the last 3-plus quarters. So we trade that for a game against an opponent we should easily beat in the WC game. If we don't, we weren't Super Bowl caliber anyway. Yes, chances of an injury in that WC game but we missed over 3 quarters of football against a tough opponent, so it's almost a wash. Focus on the positive: it looks like Damar is going to be good, and we don't play at Arrowhead. This team will be fiercely united this playoff run. If there was ever an extra intangible motivation, bonding over Damar is it. I'd be scared as hell to play the Bills in any round this year.

I'm sure these guys are tremendously knowledgable and skilled but looking at the two doctors sitting there while the woman was talking... they looked like football fans with backward caps on in scrubs. I could totally picture them in jerseys and knocking back giant cups of beer. Maybe even jumping on a table. Can you picture what I mean? No disrespect just some levity about these two amazing men who helped Damar start this amazing recovery.
