As i said, repetition helps stupid people sometimes. The paper I've linked twice, dealt with the first documented human infection with h5n2 You insisted , incorrectly, that it was h5n1. It's pretty straightforward when you stop being disingenuous. But that's just your nature, I suppose. Just like folks who lie about their credentials to buttress their weak arguments...

I will get it if and when a consensus of experts recommend it. You know, people who know what they're talking about. Listening to you guys would be analogous to a kid that sucked in football in high school, gave it up because he knew he sucked and then putting him on an NFL roster just because.. The first human infection with H5N2 was announced recently. sometimes repetition helps the slow to learn faster: https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/jun/06/mexico-man-dies-from-first-human-case-of-bird-flu-strain-h5n2. I was waiting for a few more thumbs up on your post. B man obliged.

only half of us. the usual suspects...studies are wasted on them. They neither understand nor appreciate the process and have no inkling of the work and intellect behind it. How would they? It's not in their wheelhouse. sure. 4 of 6 federal agencies believe it mutated from an animal source. Most microbiologists and ID docs also do. But they're all part of a conspiracy. You really should get some drugs to stop the hallucinations...

What happened to the franco american spaghetti- the strings instead of the O's? I'm partial to the spaghetti like stuff. Call me a traditionalist. Always with a piece of bread, butter and peanut butter. Still have it at home for a comfort food binge. But sadly they're the O's...No meatballs

Have you ever drank Dixie? Didn't need a name change to go out of business. -
any idea on how long the AOA has recommended close f/u of all patients on HCQ? It's a question you'd get on a 2nd year pharmacy test in med school. Kind of a cool thing that it changes eyes and skin pigments through melanin. But you wouldn't be interested....musta got that question wrong.... The rest is pointless ranting. Look for some windmills to joust with.

yup. maybe we should do an analysis on MAGA lies and blatant misrepresentation of facts posted here daily. Do they actually check the stories and still lie or are they too lazy to check them out? -

So you're a fan of ape face? -
They did do some damage: A meta‐review 21 of systematic reviews and updated meta‐analysis concluded that treatment with HCQ and CQ with or without azithromycin did not reduce mortality in COVID‐19 infection but was associated with a higher risk of adverse events. However, despite the lack of clear evidence of efficacy and presence of valid concerns regarding safety, HCQ continues to be used widely in the management of COVID‐19 infection. (from my first linked paper) Keep digging "Doc". you and they were wrong then and you're wrong now. You've beaten that broken drum long enough.

meta review on hcq for covid. doc and nc should look up "meta analysis". this one was limited to prospective studies (which are the most powerful). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8420202/#:~:text=A meta‐review 21 of,higher risk of adverse events. "Doc" if you read the AOA piece, you'd realize that all new patients should be screened thru a thorough eye exam as those with preexisting disease have a higher risk. You do discuss potential side effects when administering drugs, right? To not is begging for a malpractice case. here's a more recent one: https://ascpt.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cts.13468

here's some further info on the safety of HCQ. Most patients see eye professionals for regular checks ups to ensure catching this debilitating complication: https://eyewiki.aao.org/Hydroxychloroquine_Toxicity#:~:text=The early signs of hydroxychloroquine, and hyperpigmentation surrounding the fovea. You'd expect a doctor to know this stuff...
