  1. No. I'm saying let science figure it out. The consensus won't be "fixed". There are very opinionated, vocal and yes, egotistical scientists. There is vigorous debate on the question which is good.
  2. I can see this logic but this is about science, wherever the virus originated. I believe in the scientific method.
  3. The flu for sure....dysentary is shite https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4729375-adam-kinzinger-bob-good-john-mcguire-donald-trump-virginia-5th-district-race/
  4. You guys always need a scapegoat/villain to rail against. Fauci and Ray Epps are top of the list right now.
  5. Tuckers 2 minutes of fame have passed. He’s yesterday’s news…except In Russia
  6. Please stop. My head hurts! 😁I agree that the simultaneous presence of a suspicious market and a suspicious lab is confounding. I believe what fauci is putting his weight on is the sequencing. He thinks it much more likely that the mutation was natural versus synthetic. At least, that’s my understanding. Not a molecular biologist but neither is anyone posting here.
  7. It’s called hyperbole. The 4:/6 intelligence agencies are not
  8. 4 out of 6 US intelligence committees must also be gullible then, I agree with Dr Fauci- this is Jason Bourne, CIA conspiracy shite. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/fauci-denies-suppressing-covid-lab-leak-theory-before-us-house-panel-2024-06-03/ "I've also been very, very clear, and said multiple times, that I don’t think the concept of there being a lab (leak) is inherently a conspiracy theory," he said. "What is conspiracy is the kind of distortions of that particular subject, like it was a lab leak, and I was parachuted into the CIA like Jason Bourne and told the CIA that they should really not be talking about a lab leak," he told a U.S. House of Representatives panel.
  9. IOh, I was thinking you meant the cabal led by Soros. That's who I'd be putting my money on...were I MAGA
  10. And what red blooded, patriotic American doesn't love driving a fast car on a windy road, windows open and top down? He's a commie....
  11. I’m imagining a dark, dank cellar with a dehumidifier running endlessly to withstand the muggy nc summer right now. And he’s still dripping sweat on his keyboard and smells like a locker room.
  12. Mask effectiveness is not settled science. The Cochran review often given as definitive proof against masks is not accepted as such among many scientists/clinicians https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10484132/ “The Cochrane review mentioned many of its own limitations and weaknesses, particularly with regard to face masks and its limited number of robust studies; it, therefore, cautioned against drawing any strong conclusions. Given the strong opinions expressed about the study, Cochrane further clarified that their review should not be used as evidence against mask efficacy per se, noting that the data were not definitive and that masks might be effective at preventing respiratory virus infection.8”
  13. But the J6 chorus should be pardoned. Talk about upside down. What a mess. I have no desire for drastic change. MAGAs generally do. The chaos I see in American society right now mostly is initiated by MAGAs
  14. uh huh. He didn't know that the virus originated in a lab. He said in the hearing that it isn't clear. The majority of gov't agencies believe the natural mutation route is more probable. He was on salary at NIH. How did he profit? His book was published after he retired. Mask studies weren't available but droplet transmission was widely felt to be present and masks had been proven effective for this type of transmission. The amount of money that NIH granted China was minuscule and vastly i9nadequate to fund research to develop a novel virus. Watch his testimony before congress recently. All of this is addressed. I have no reason to believe he was lying. Now his opponents... Yes, we are now the conservatives. Most of us are at least moderately content with how things are but see room for improvement. MAGA's want drastic change and are largely not content...
  15. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9537923/. Now cite a paper to support your contention that it didn't save millions of lives.
  16. hmmm.. a bit overstated but maybe what you perceive is because so many of us were Republicans. The real ones...
  17. argue the points tommy eyeballs. You can't, can you? not smart enough hence the 🙄
  18. So contrast the ads to facts and highlight the differences. Ya know like WaPo did here posting edited and unedited versions simultaneously. then watch biased sheep from one side show what big fools they are defending the lies at places like this forum. Oh, and read the Mueller report again. Carefully. There was Russian interference helping trump.
  19. Ok, so why are you defending the vids as accurate? are you on the RNC payroll or just a rabid MAGA? I would argue there are lines in the sand that shouldn't and haven't been crossed before in US politics. Editing videos to prove false narratives should be in that group. Defending the vids after the fact is even worse. But nice job Goebbels...
  20. You guys are full anti establishment. The vax saved millions of lives. Drug manufacturers have kept up with bacterial resistance, produced effective drugs for weight loss (with accompanying diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease etc), improved life expectancy for many cancers etc. All the products of elite scientists who for some reason, MAGA's despise (I suppose because they are elite). Prices would drop precipitously if Medicare directly negotiated drug prices but R's are firmly against that. D's are largely in favor. Shocker!
  21. no drug or treatment is 100% safe. Aspirin or tylenol can kill you and both have killed people. Acetaminophen OD's are common. But they help the vast majority of people who take them for various ailments, some life threatening like heart disease. Risk/benefit is present in every medical intervention and prevention measure. It just is. We have this thing called informed consent. It's worked well for decades.
  22. “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” -George Orwell I wondered where you got the "Brave New World" quote. Did the RNC send out an email? I'd imagined you'd be much more interested in "atlas Shrugged" than Orwell. BTW, he got it right. You just attributed the meaning to the wrong group.
