check out this video aptly named "Rising from the swamp, look at earlier construction at about 3:10 in the vid. Now how bout you back up the numbers you just quoted. And I'll ignore "We don't build on swamps" statement. As recently as 3 years ago, I went by several large housing developments getting started near Disney world that required massive grading and drainage systems. How many homes have basements there? 1 square mile is plenty of swamp for me but I doubt it was that small. No shortage of info on this https://www.orlandorocks.com/blog/what-made-walt-disney-decide-to-build-on-swampland-2/ " Orlando was mostly swampland when Walt Disney was actively looking for a place to build Disney World." "So, how was Disney World built on a swamp? Well, it wasn’t, not really. They scooped out material from what was to be the Seven Seas Lagoon, made it into a vast dirt mound, and then built Disney World, the theme park we know today, on the top."

keep digging In his early 60s, the graying retired U.S. Army general led the massive construction project to get Disney’s land ready to build a theme park. The bulldozers tore through, uprooting trees, and crews tamed what was an alligator- and snake-infested swamp of Central Florida in the late 1960s. This was an old Florida back then, more rugged, wild and so far away from the well-manicured Disney grounds known today. On a boat ride through the canal, Potter and his team brought a gun because snakes hung from the trees, his daughter recounted Miami has been 6 ft above sea level for centuries. They built canals to protect it. So was New Orleans. until Katrine crushed it. Miami is considered the most vulnerable coastal city for rising sea levels. But by all means, invest in a condo in Miami. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/miami-is-the-most-vulnerable-coastal-city-worldwide/ Maybe as a teacher, you should enlighten yourself on your states topography and history.

Last time I was in Miami I was at a conference on the beach. At 6ft above sea level it could quickly erode into a swamp. Ignore the obvious concerns. I couldn’t care less. Miami and its suburbs are located on a broad plain between the Everglades to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east, which extends from Lake Okeechobee southward to Florida Bay. The elevation of the area averages at around 6 ft (1.8 m) above sea level in most neighborhoods, especially near the coast. Disney is situated in the onetime swamp near Orlando. They’ve built a great deal there https://www.tampabay.com/news/business/2021/02/15/disneys-magic-kingdom-was-mapped-out-by-a-general-youve-never-heard-of/#:~:text=Taming the swamp&text=The bulldozers tore through%2C uprooting, completely hidden away%2C Lucas said.

I ahem no idea about his innocence or guilt. But I'm anti death penalty. -
And why would they hire a gap toothed, overweight, dim witted MAGA actor?

watching "What's next? The future with Bill Gates". Episode 3 is about income inequality with one of the worlds richest men weighing in. He meets with Bernie Sanders and Mitt Romney. Bernie says what you'd expect. Mitt says "Today there are these culture battles and demonization of people across the aisle. And so policy, the kinds of things that help people come out of poverty, have taken a back seat. I do think that our political parties are casting out a bit. They don't quite know where to go. So my party for instance, now is almost two thirds made up of individuals without a college education. And these are people who, I presume would like to see a higher minimum wage, but our orthodoxy in the Republican party for a long time has been "Don't raise the minimum wage." Because that's what business has been saying. Well, what are we going to do? And that confusion has been responsible for the lack of progress on dealing with some of the challenges we have. So we have got to tackle this issue. He's nailed it. The political rhetoric is aimed mostly at this group but the policies rarely are, when there actually are any policies. -

They really are. Not going to waste my time quoting scripture to illustrate each of these positions since you are likely aware and reject them despite their clarity. Whoever radicalized you and made you emotionally and spiritually bankrupt did an excellent job but did you no favors. and another nice green check mark from theologically conflicted B man. -

Maybe because these are positions Jesus taught. talk about a sad sack. What do you believe in other than yourself? Do you even believe strongly in that? And there's B-man, grad of conservative, Catholic St Bonaventure, giving you a green check mark and qouting the KJV version of the bible. Where's his "cast the first stone" quote now (it is directly applicable here). At least you're honest in your nihilism. -
