  1. Why would anyone want it to fail? Real clinicians wanted it to work but were obligated to wait and see better data. Yeah doc, data. Science.
  2. Unscientific doc. And it’s not. But you certainly have the chops to outguess 4 of 6 federal agencies. Of course, you believe they’re all part of the conspiracy. What was the goal. To f up China’s economy worse than ours?
  3. Show me the data doc. You seem to have mystical knowledge of Covid’s origins. You r truly special😅
  4. I've heard this is pretty eye opening: https://www.thisamericanlife.org/606/just-what-i-wanted/act-two-1
  5. Stay away from Ten High. It's rot gut. I'm alive and healthy. Lots of docs aren't: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10071333/#:~:text=From March 2020 through December 2021%2C there were 4511 deaths,to 84 years (Table).
  6. Thanks for the advice. I'm deciding the optimal time to start drawing social security. Are you an actuary?
  7. Shocking! Pure blood - wow... I've had 4 total. The last being in 2023 with the updated vax. Doing fine...
  8. you first. I'm happy with my plan and will share but betting you won't
  9. I have. reading is not your forte. I'd dare you to not get polio vax or measels//mumps/rubella as shrunken nuts would be a desired outcome but you'd likely hurt innocents in the process.
  10. Please don't get vaccines...also don't treat any chronic illnesses or risk factors
  11. I"m UTD! why wouldn't I be? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10684792/ Honestly, I think this is a politically motivated study with convincing results. The BMJ article also seems biased with less convincing data linking mortality to vax...
  12. Red states did much worse with lower vax rates. Maybe we should do a study on excess mortality in them. But yeah, evolution in real time.
  13. What is good is that scientists will hash this out and eventually come to consensus that will help us prepare for next time.. What's bad is hack bloggers distorting a single paper above many others and convincing dummies of its meaning without context.
  14. Here's the actual paper straight off the press: https://bmjpublichealth.bmj.com/content/2/1/e000282 The twitterer overstated the conclusions. It's a paragraph in the linked paper, worth a read. So is the discussion section summarizing multiple prior studies with different findings and presumably, conclusions as well as serious study limitations. Interesting paper that will be controversial and criticized. Data will be questioned. Methods will be criticized. And there will also be supporters of the authors. Science is cool.
  15. confirming that it was indeed rationed. I was 1b in Va.
  16. Good news for those considering moving abroad if the nazis gain power: https://www.wsj.com/economy/the-dollar-is-at-its-strongest-since-the-1980s-canit-last-a1d407b9
  17. it was first available to those labelled 1a in Dec 2020. Later fla prioritized over 70 yo. but let's not let facts get in the way of your narrative: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/23/covid-vaccine-texas-other-states-break-from-cdc-in-prioritizing-who-gets-next-round-of-shots.html Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed Texas on Tuesday, saying he intends to prioritize people over age 70 to be first to get the vaccine, not essential workers. “The vaccines are going to be targeted where the risk is going to be greatest, and that is in our elderly population,” DeSantis said at a news briefing. “We are not going to put young, healthy workers ahead of our elderly, vulnerable population.”
  18. link the literature. should be easy for a molecular biologist.
  19. the irony in some of the hearing was priceless. McCormick saying decisions should be made between a patient and a doctor without interference from the gov't. (to justify unproven and ultimately useless drugs for covid) Guess he's pro choice, huh? The outrage at testing on dogs weeks after defending a puppy killer...shameless fools. Fauci made the point that he believes in the scientific method, the time proven method of advancing knowledge. People like McCormick want to throw that out the window and go on whims....but trump loves him. He got a congressional seat for his efforts.
  20. I don't believe they did. Maybe they should stop providing life saving drugs developed in sinister labs to science hating, clueless MAGAs. Let them eat bleach...
  21. no, hermaphrodites have been recognized for eons...not so much how to prevent and treat novel pandemic causing viruses. We're still learning as long nd will know much more if the rubes leave the scientists alone.
  22. Umm, Because science is not static. What medicine believed even 10 years ago in many areas has changed.
  23. Absolutely...and solidly differentiated the quacks from the scientists (although that was very clear on this forum before covid). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8058247/Donald-Trump-tweets-GOP-physician-banning-Anthony-Fauci-5-shows.html?ITO=applenews this POS was a huge proponent of HCQ but yesterday told everyone he was correct on Covid all along. The R chair of the committee is a podiatrist who purports to be a "surgeon" from his time at Abu Graib (sp?). (Who knew so many abused prisoners needed urgent foot care?). These shills are embarrassments to their profession as would be "Doc" if he really had an MD diploma...They're no better than MTG railing against one of the worlds most respected experts in Infectious Disease. They're worse tho because they know that science is the basis of medicine and still contend that it's evil. MAGA's need a villain. Science will do just fine. It's elitist don't you know...
