  1. project much? take a look at maggot rally goers. tell me how sophisticated, svelte and genteel they appear who started a thread doing just that, loser? Did you hear Obama cry this loud when he was targeted?
  2. source=wiki Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, was involved in multiple security incidents, including several assassination threats and plots, starting from when he became a presidential candidate in 2007. Secret Service protection for Obama began after he received a death threat in 2007, while serving as the junior United States senator from Illinois and running for president. This marked the earliest time a candidate received such protection before being nominated.[1] Security was increased early for Obama due to fears of possible assassination attempts by white supremacist or other racist groups or individuals against the first African American major party presidential nominee.[2][3][4] Some of the threats were extended to members of Obama's family, including former First Lady Michelle Obama.[5][6][7][8] Obama and his officials generally declined to discuss death threats against him during the presidential race.[5][9] Some commentators suggested the unusually high number of death threats targeting Obama are at least partially tied to the use of racist imagery and words by some of Obama's critics to describe him.[2] In 2009 journalist Ronald Kessler reported that Obama received 400 percent more death threats than his predecessor.[10] However, later that year the Secret Service stated that the volume of threats against Obama was "comparable to that under George W. Bush and Bill Clinton."[11]
  3. Well both peoples are dark…
  4. Tua needs to quit. If he doesn't the NFL needs to step in. Fencing posturing again tonight.
  5. Not any more. They looked strong. Tua needs to stop. He's gonna have a cantaloupe for a brain if he doesn't. So has anyone discussed trump's refusal for another debate? He's right not to.
  6. Sort of but more country. Expecting to love it https://birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/festival-bristol-rhythm/lineup/#/
  7. None of which Kamala said in the debate. Biden has Parkinsons.
  8. 64, there's no shame in aging. I like what I like. I'm open to all types of music and frequently go to live events. Going to a 3 day festival starting tomorrow. Almost 100 bands. Probably pick up a few more favs. So what are you listening to?
  9. So blatant lies are good? How do you feel about his Orban love? He already has the nazis. Who does he gain with that? https://apnews.com/article/trump-harris-hungary-orban-debate-45922d4b2f7c8655b08038d1895787eb
  10. Nailed it https://mattlabash.substack.com/p/all-over-but-the-whining Well that was fun! At least it was if you’re the sort of person who is into watching Donald Trump get humiliated — a club of which I am a proud member. And why not be? If you weren’t enamored with either candidate in the first place (though Momala is growing on me as a capable knife-fighter, who is at least temporarily doing a passable impression of a moderate Democrat), but you regard Trump as a metastatic case of ass cancer in the body politic, well then watching him get poleaxed on a debate stage might be one of your few remaining political pleasures. Combing over the transcript more carefully this morning, what becomes clear is that Trump was beaten like the village piñata. And that’s not my anti-Trump bias talking. (For the record, I had Trump trouncing Biden in their debate, mentioning in the Times back in June that Biden “sounded like a dying humidifier or my great grandfather giving his last will and testament.”) The polls seem to back me up on last night’s results. As The Washington Postnoted, a YouGov poll showed that Kombucha (which Trump has not yet called Harris, but probably will) won 54-31 percent among registered voters who watched at least some of the debate. While CNN had her winning 63-37 percent. In an evenly-divided electorate, those are true bloodbath numbers — a bigger margin than 20 other post-debate polls CNN has done going back to 1984. And as the Post added, it gets worse for Trump, in that even 31 percent of Trump supporters said he lost.
  11. Cool. Post some music. Some insight into your creative mind…here’s some of mine: vocal jazz especially female- Ella, Diana Krull,Norah, even 40s stuff. Fav album in last 10 years is probably raising sands by Alison Kraus and Robert Plant. Getting more into Bluegrass Billy Strings especially. Pop I tend towards lyricists like Annie Lennox. Peter Gabriel, Simon and Garfunkel
  12. Name some of your fav artists. Much of what I've seen on the music thread from MAGAs is inharmonic, headbanger stuff that plays angry. I'm not big fan of Taylor's music but some of it is very clever. I'd choose it over metal every time.
  13. I think it's got more to do with her fantastic success. And the fact that women are much more empowered now. I listened to a few of her songs recently. Several were about awesome sex. That's an understandable aspiration.
  14. They're called role models for a reason. They would rather be Taylor (or Brittney or Allen etc) than trump. Simple as that.
  15. Nope. Show me the post debate numbers that support this. MAGAs despise facts.
  16. or they knew that trump would balk making him look even weaker. Then there's this, from an R pollster https://www.mediaite.com/tv/republican-pollster-declares-trumps-campaign-dead-he-loses-because-of-this-debate-performance/ “It was a pretty negative performance, pretty pessimistic, cynical, contemptuous,” Luntz added. “And I think that this will cost him, yes. I’m trying to decide if I wanna go on record, and the answer’s yes. I think that he loses because of this debate performance.”
  17. She's elite therefore bad to MAGAs. They admire convicts.
  18. what's not true? He's a convicted felon. He tried to overturn an election (confirmed Tuesday night that he still doesn't accept the results). And he has stated he will be a dictator for his 1st day. prove me wrong. you still haven't provided any proof that I spread the couch lie. why is that? https://apnews.com/article/trump-hannity-dictator-authoritarian-presidential-election-f27e7e9d7c13fabbe3ae7dd7f1235c72 https://apnews.com/article/trump-trial-deliberations-jury-testimony-verdict-85558c6d08efb434d05b694364470aa0 https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/trump-refuses-acknowledge-2020-loss-dodges-debate-question-jan-6-actio-rcna170540 Prove me wrong MAGAs
  19. Not voting for a convicted felon who tried to overturn an election and threatens to be a dictator day1 would be common sense.
  20. Have either lost court cases for lying?
  21. That clip shows six voters whose responses the graphs presumably show. Did they self identify as R, D or Independent or were they registered as such? And Fox picked them. Fox lost a case worth 100s of millions for lying to their viewers. Why would you choose to trust them?
  22. No it isn't especially if you're a reporter in Springfield or Columbus. Papers in both towns have covered the story and refuted it. https://www.dispatch.com/story/news/2024/09/11/truth-fact-check-people-eating-dogs-springfield-ohio-trump-vance-harris-debate/75171964007/ "Someone's cat comes up missing? They gonna say the Haitians did it," Joe Ruck, a co-owner of Champion City Cuts Barber Shop in Springfield, told the Dispatch.
  23. idk. The odds markets changed markedly after the debate.as did most of the polling models She convinced somebody. I also wonder about some claiming to be independents like those who cite Harris for being too liberal on abortion. They are likely responsible for the polling error that have undercounted trump votes, known as shy trumpers.
