  1. Younger than orange man. I play white tees he plays reds.
  2. I hope the traditional R’s haven’t lost all their decency. The ones I know haven’t. They just need an alternative.
  3. Yet you offer no rebuttal…At least python tries albeit with pretzel logic.
  4. For the record, I could care less at this point. I hope the GOP does go through with this in Nebraska, and I hope Youngkin and Kemp instituting voter roll purges and new election law delivers the election for Trump. Maybe it's just me but these two statements are contradictory.
  5. I think if trump loses, MAGA is done. They'd have a helluva losing streak except for unelected SCOTUS judges. Even stupid people don't like losing.
  6. So a break off from the real R party? splitting that voter pool would significantly diminish their power.
  7. nice piece with some important info https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2024/09/trumps-electoral-college-power-play-in-nebraska-is-a-troubling-sign-of-things-to-come/ It’s hardly a done deal. Pillen has said he won’t call a special session unless legislators demonstrate they have a filibuster-proof majority, and as Nebraska Democrats have pointed out, they don’t have the votes right now. According to the Nebraska Examiner, there’s at least one key holdout with a conflicting professional interest—Republican state Sen. Mike McDonnell, a former Democrat who is reportedly considering running for mayor of Omaha next year. He might want to avoid being known in Omaha as the guy who made Omaha irrelevant. In one of the world’s least reassuring statements, a spokesperson told the ExaminerThursday that McDonnell was opposed to any change “as of today.” Whether Nebraska changes the rules or not, though, Graham’s gambit, and the pressure from the Trump campaign, offers an ominous glimpse of a future that looks a lot like the recent past. One of the dominant storylines following Trump’s loss in the 2020 election was the pressure campaign he and his allies mounted on individual Republican officeholders all the way up until January 6. Trump, for instance, invited Michigan Republican lawmakers to the White House and called Republicans in Wayne County to try to pressure them to oppose the certification of Detroit’s election results. He asked Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger in a phone call to “find” a few thousand votes that would put him over the top. Graham, as it happens, also talked to Raffensperger
  8. you started a thread for a 1 to 10,000 shot? Here's a hint- if you gamble, give it up. I think the odds are a bit better for it happening. They're gonna fight, bite and claw for that 1 electoral vote. I think they're very worried at this point. And what's this nonsense about R's refusing to use any means necessary to win? D's have never organized an insurrection and a fake elector scheme
  9. so specify the false statements in the piece...argue against them. c'mon you can do it...
  10. He's as slimy as a turd after a bad late night curry https://www.politico.com/news/2024/09/20/vivek-ramaswamy-town-hall-springfield-ohio-00180180 For Ramaswamy, it marked a departure from his fulsome embrace of outlandish conspiracies during his own 2024 presidential bid — while also serving as a case study in how Republicans are covering for Trump’s latest baseless claims about Springfield. It isn’t Trump who’s lying, Ramaswamy suggested. If the claims are false — and officials here have said repeatedly that they are — that’s on the residents of this city. It’s a delicate act for ambitious Republicans like Ramaswamy. The biotech entrepreneur has been floated as a potential contender for secretary of Homeland Security if Trump wins the presidential election, and he has a vested interest in currying favor with the former president.
  11. forget it. the idiots twist themselves into pretzels defending all the jan 6 traitors. the letter is clearly about avoiding friendly fire among the various law enforcement groups who might be present. they actively choose not to acknowledge that and even use it as a defense for the low life scumbags (including trump) who perpetrated it.
  12. Trump is a master at plausible deniability. Can’t tell if you actually buy his shite or just pretend. Pretending would be more treasonous
  13. Yep, this Oxbridge educated, Financial Times exec is all in on publicly calling for the assassination of trump. How did you ever figure it out? Did you ever think "hey, maybe he has a point"? nah, way too establishment for you revolutionaries...
  14. Fragile and knowingly inferior. It’s why they need a strong man authoritarian leader. .they're the 2024 NE Patriots.
  15. Wow. Huge crowd of Springfield’s finest listening to an immigrant rail on immigrants. America is great. Who needs “again”?
  16. Sure. China wanted it to happen, destroying their surging economy and killing millions. We wanted it to happen for the same reasons. Other than a few drug companies, who won? Was Pfizer behind it? You fools never think.
  17. God, you people are dumb. Lord help you and the country.
  18. would you want this guy dating your daughter? why would you want him for governor? now do trump...
  19. don't you get tired always seeing rainbows in unicorn farts?
  20. So I wasn't needlessly concerned about the marxism thing...I agree, let's leave it at that. It was a nice day. Hope yours was too.
