Just curious to hear opinions on this: This year's game of coaching musical chairs has been a disaster, no doubt. But one of the results that I haven't heard discussed is that the main group of coaches is missing a couple guys. When AVP moved to OC, nobody replaced him as a QB coach. When Perry became HC, he remained the DC as well. Seems like the last thing this team needed was to have their preparation man-hours stretched even more. You could make a good argument that the Schonert & Jauron firings were addition by subtraction, but what you have left is severely lacking not just in quality, but quantity too.

Speaking of the pathetic usage of words,… tomorrow I get to change my sig line.

I think I like twenty-ten and two thousand ten. I'll be glad to say goodbye to this decade that had no name and no glory for the Bills.

Question re: HD broadcasts over the air
Cugalabanza replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I guess that's true. Of course, they market a whole category of "HD antennas" now. My point is that a cheap one will probably work well if you're anywhere near a metropolitan area. -

Yup. You'll need a digital antenna. I had a similar issue when I got my HD TV and the cable company couldn't get me an HD cable box for a while. I found an HD antenna for about $15 I think. It worked surprisingly well. -

Kyle Williams named pro bowl alternate

Stroud did the same thing this year that he did last year. He started the season looking like a force. Then after the first couple games, he started to decline. By the end of the season, he is just getting abused regularly. It has to be something to do with conditioning/injuries/age. -

Not really fair to lump Marv and Wade with the others. Even their signature failure moments happened in the SB and playoffs! There were a lot of great successful moments leading up to those memorable games (and even in those games), especially with Marv. Of those other idiots, only Mularkey even got a tiny whiff of a chance of making the post-season. -

I stole that from a fan's sign I saw a few years ago, from the Mularkey era. Sad that it's remained relevant all this time. -
What if the Colts backups smoke the Bills?

Teacher says, every time a playoff team beats the Bills with their scrubs in a season finale, Bill Polian gets a boner. -

I thought if might be fun to debate the idea of relegation/promotion, like they have in the European soccer leagues. I think it would be a cool idea, for example, for the worst NFL team each year to switch leagues with the UFL (or similar minor league) champion. (Possibly making it two teams each a few years down the road). I think there are a lot of positives. It would lend immediate credibility to the UFL. The importance of winning that league would go from zero to huge overnight. It would add meaning to some otherwise meaningless late season NFL games where the bottom teams now have to fight for their NFL lives instead of phoning it in for a top draft pick. It would put extra pressure on owners to put a better product on the field for their fans. I'm sure there are problems and levels of complication that I'm not considering, but I think it's an interesting idea. I think it would add spice to the game. What do you think?

All Ivana do is relax and these !@#$ing kids are driving

It's kind of a drag trying to impress a classy broad like that. I'd probably have to vacuum the dog hair out of my 1998 Honda Civic before I picked her up. It's not worth it. -
Time runs away aimless and flailing like an escaped mental patient over the hills in tattered pajamas, barefoot and afraid and in need of more help than one could ever hope to find.

who on this team would you keep
Cugalabanza replied to Jeffery Lester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree for the most part. I'd add George Wilson to the keeper list. I also want to keep Poz and Whitner. I think if you saw these guys on a real football team that knows how to utilize talented players in the right roles, they would excel. Hardy and Steve Johnson I still have hope for too. I think Fitzpatrick could be a decent back-up. Hard to say though since no one on earth could have success behind the Bills o-line right now. I'd like to keep Brohm--there may be something special there. Overall, he played a lousy game yesterday, but the pressure was constant and intense and he did not panic and he hung in there and made some plays that showed some vision and accuracy. Trent I'd prefer to never see again in a Bills uniform. -
Where else would you rather be than right here right…about 20 years ago?
