Imagine that! GM's of top tier teams want to acquire more elite talent.....while posters here wring their hands in fear over giving up draft picks and the Salary Cap!

This is why I'd give up a 1st + to keep him away from KC

For starters, Defenses have to plan for another weapon on our offense who is currently averaging over 100 scrimmage yards per game with garbage around him. He's basically another receiving option with YAC and can also be your RB

I'd rather try for 2nd, 2024 4th and Moss

He is currently 8th in yards from scrimmage per game this year at 102 avg

None of the $ is guaranteed and whoever gets him only has to pay around 600k this season

Then either redo his deal or make it a 2nd and a 2024 3rd. They are going to want a lot for him and rightfully so.

The acquiring team is only on the hook for an apprx 600k this season

Adam Caplan stated we had strong interest in him in the offseason but he "wasn't available" Ryan Talbot also confirmed this today. Call me crazy if you want....I'd be willing to part with a 1st + 2024 4th + Moss to outbid other interested teams. No one will care in April that we don't have a 1st if it's pick # 32......

None of which is guaranteed. He could easily have his deal re-done or be traded again I don't understand why so many fans are apprehensive about acquiring elite talent and trying to become as good as possible for a SB run.

Win the SB. CMC in this offense creates all sorts of problems for Defenses

I understand this point....but the benefits of adding him greatly outweigh any cons to me. Look at Diggs.... "Diva" I do recall that, but Ian Rap had an article yesterday...teams mentioned were Bills, Rams, Chiefs, Packers and Bucs

Shakir seems to have subtle moves and a unique running style that makes him harder to defend Ideally, we would use McKenzie's speed more than we have so far. More motion / designed end arounds

I would assume Crowder would just be IR all season/released. I don't think Von speaks on it as much as he has unless he's very confident Odell is at least seriously considering signing here. Beane also did not deny interest

He was put on IR Saturday when Hodgins was signed to the 53. Once Kumerow is back: Diggs Davis McKenzie/Shakir Kumerow/Hodgins

Add OBJ and CMC/ Saquon. If egos can be kept in check...which this team seems to have enough leadership to do that....could be one of the best offenses of all time.

What are your thoughts on this receiving group going forward? Assuming McKenzie is healthy next week, Shakir looks to have earned getting significant snaps. He's already shown he can line up in the slot or outside. When Diggs or Davis need a play or two off, Shakir takes those snaps. He can also split time with Isaiah in the slot. In 10 Personnel : Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Shakir Let's say we go "all in" and acquire another weapon at WR in the next month, whether it's OBJ or someone unexpected via trade. I believe this is sensible as both added insurance and also to make this team even more unstoppable. Diggs Davis *Sign/Trade Mckenzie Shakir Kumerow Hodgins Stevenson Gentry A bit of intrigue would be if Marquez Stevenson is healthy later in the season. Has he shown the staff enough to warrant playing time? I personally don't believe he has earned it, but I wasn't at Mini camp or Training Camp *If we add OBJ and line him up outside in 11 personnel....Diggs can line up in the slot which is a huge mismatch and he's shown to be elite when lined up there. No defense in the league has the capability to deal with a Diggs, Davis, OBJ package. Add Shakir and McKenzie rotating in, with occasional 5WR spreads..... scary I will also say that team chemistry should be considered when adding a new WR. The fact that Diggs is friends with OBJ, openly stated he'd like him here and of course Von; it makes a lot of sense to me. Others may disagree and that's fine, I get it

I hope Beane can find a creative way to add CMC or Saquon and OBJ. Surround Allen with as many weapons as possible.
