  1. I'd love to see the Bills take an OT in Round 2 - what about Michael (son of Anthony) Munoz? OT | (6'6", 315, 5.3) | TENNESSEE Data from Scouts, Inc. Grade: 79 Alerts: (D: DURABILITY) Player that can't stay healthy Comments: Strengths: Has very good overall size and frame. Is technically sound. Takes very good angles and consistently will get in position as a run blocker. Is mobile and does a very good job as a downfield blocker. Will get out and cut linebackers in space. Is a savvy player. Plays with leverage, uses his hands well and does a good job of locking on, driving his legs and working to finish. He has a quick set in pass pro. Has long arms, great hand placement, and does a very good job of stonewalling edge rushers. Is a good athlete for his size, as well. He plays with balance and leverage. Is able to get set versus top edge rushers and also has the athletic ability to re-direct back inside versus the double move. Weaknesses: Has recovered fully from 2001 knee injury, but durability is still a concern. He also has been nicked a lot throughout his career and has had to play through some ankle and shoulder problems. He has good size and is tough, but lacks explosive power. Does not jar defenders back with his hand punch. Works to finish in the running game but will not engulf or pancake many defenders. He is not massive or overpowering in the running game. Is almost a little bit too much of a finesse player. Bottom line: Munoz started all 12 games as a true freshman in 2000 but wound up missing his entire sophomore season in 01 with a knee injury. He returned as an 11-game starter as a redshirt sophomore in 02 and started every game in 03 as a team captain in his junior season. Munoz finally began to live up to expectations as a senior in 04. For the first time in his career at Tennessee, Munoz did not have to undergo surgery in the offseason, which allowed him to fully participate in workouts and training sessions that he had missed in previous offseason. The extra work in the spring and summer paid off. Munoz is bigger and stronger, and he looks quicker than ever before. He is not the most physically dominating tackle in this year s class and his history of injuries will surely cost him on draft day, but his strong play as a senior has helped his draft value tremendously. Expect Munoz to come off the 05 draft board somewhere between the late-second and third round.
  2. I said to my wife at gametime "The Bills are in trouble because Randy Cross is doing the analysis....he's kryptonite to the Bills' Superman." She didn't believe me until after the game.
  3. fullback dive on 2nd and short. No one would expect that since we haven't run that play all year.
  4. They have mentioned Losman in the past. The other day, Clayton (I think) said that there was no consensus #1 QB in the draft - about 40% liked Eli, 40% liked Rothlisberger, 10% liked Rivers, and 10% liked Losman. The reason they don't include Losman: 1) There's no reason for the Bills to play him now 2) He was picked in the 20s, not in the top 11 picks
  5. Always start the best, regardless of matchup. You have to trust them. Portis, J. Jones, James Walker, A. Johnson I'm in a similar dilemma because I have two WR with EXACTLY the same # points (A Johnson and R. Smith) as my 2nd WR. Good luck.
  6. Nope - it's a comedy with Rowan Atkinson (who plays a parody of himself) and Jeff Goldblum as Rowan's sidekick. If you've ever seen Rowan's act, Jeff plays the "patsy" role to Rowan's multiple characters. Worth a watch. Oh, Emma has a topless scene in the movie.
  7. I'll assume you're joking. Kate Winslet isn't American.
  8. feel dumb because I wasted 3 minutes that I'll never get back... but I did get all 3 right.
  9. Make the trade before your opponent comes to his senses.
  10. Me fail English? That's unpossible. Vote #1561
  11. You forgot: Lamar King (drugs) Andy Katzenmoyer
  12. Dick Curl, Assistant Coach of the NJ Jets.
  13. you never sit your studs - no matter who the opponent is...
  14. Sorry to say this, but I can see why you're last. Why do you have 4 QBs? How many do you start (I'm guessing 1). Find the team with the weakest QB situation and trade a QB (McNair) for whatever you can get - maybe a lesser RB or #2 WR. That being said, start 2 RBs (Griffin, Brown), 2 WRs (Owens, Caldwell - yuck), and Gonzalez at TE. Collins is a good start this week at QB. After this week, start Hasselback unless his arms fall off.
  15. Bills home opener Fifty-eight minutes - awesome Knock the D$#% ball down
  16. Not unless you're in my league, and I'm playing against you this week. You're going to receive a back that's out for at least 5 weeks (McAlister), another on a bye week (Foster) that may go back to the bench in a few weeks, and (IMHO) a weaker QB (Pennington).
  17. I discount all of the yahoo-type drafts In one live draft, I questioned the following: Kevin Barlow #12 overall Michael Bennett #19 overall (the previous year's champ) TJ Duckett #33 overall!! Of course, I'm the idiot who played Hasselback over McNabb last week (but still won).
  18. My guess is that the Jests didn't want to guarantee his salary for the year. Before week 1, any veteran on the roster has a guaranteed salary for the year. After week one, any veteran who signs with a team is not guaranteed salary for the year.
  19. Golden Earring also had a minor hit called "Twilight Zone" in the 80's -which was often played on MTV. Great 2-hit band (vs. a one-hit wonder).
  20. FLUTIE HEADING BACK TO BUFFALO? A league source tells us that the San Diego Chargers are trying to trade 40-something quarterback Doug Flutie to the Bills. Flutie made the biggest splash of his NFL career in Buffalo several years back, and the Bills arguably kept the wrong guy when they picked Rob "Rag Doll" Johnson over Flutie following the 2000 season. Flutie would help shore up a position that has been weakened by injuries to J.P. Losman and Travis Brown. Recently, the Bills signed veteran Shane Matthews. The effort by the Chargers to trade Flutie suggests he might be in danger of getting released. It's another PFT BS story, I hope
  21. What I want to know is - How the heck do the Cowboys skirt the Blackout rule? The game was NOT a sellout (I checked ticket availability yesterday), but was broadcast locally...
