1/22/23 GAMEDAY THREAD Divisional Playoffs Bills vs. Bengals

Groot usually lines up on the other side, but I can see him moving around some this game to try and get good matchups. -

I think we're going to see a serious DE rotation today to try and wear out those tackles. With Carman making his first start of the season at LT, they are going to keep him always facing fresh legs. -

I know right? Always focusing on the INTs, never mind the guy scored 42 TDs this year. -

Yep, been the same story since the matchup was determined last week. Burrow plays mistake free football and Josh is a turnover prone loose cannon blah, blah, blah.... -

Looking that way but he's played with the bum shoulder before and just isn't very effective since he can barely lift that arm. I have no idea if it's actually true or not, but it's rumored he's got a torn labrum, which does make sense for as many weeks as he's been dealing with it. Here's to hoping he's feeling good and can be the factor we know he can be. -

Jones was the name I didn't want to see. Hopefully the rest of them can get after it with them being down several starters on the O-Line. -

I don't think him not going to this one ever even crossed his mind. -

I think they are going to put a spy on Josh like Miami did to try and limit any impromptu scrambles. Of course, spies aren't that effective in designed QB runs because they just get blocked like anyone else. In a win or go home game, I expect everything to be on the table. -

True, that's why you'll never know what you have until they're actually on the field.
-
Or maybe Purdy is just good on his own merit.
-
That's the whole entire point.
-
I have no idea what your point is with Purdy and Shannahan. If anything, Shannahan got lucky AF that Purdy turned out the way he has.

I can give you several average QBs that have won Super Bowls. And how good a QB is has nothing to do with where they're drafted. See Tom Brady, see Ryan Leaf...and about 500 other examples.

Shady and Poyer talking about Hyde possibly returning this week

He's been in no-contact red in practice. If he were about to start playing in games, he'd be full practice. -
Bills injury report best in quite awhile

Phillips' shoulder is shot. He can barely lift his arm and it's been that way for weeks. I've seen it rumored he has a torn labrum. If that's actually the case, he should probably just be shutdown and get the surgery done and get on the road to recovery. -

Anyone else have the feeling Josh is going to have surgery on his elbow as soon as the season is over? -
Where a QB was drafted is completely irrelevant as history has often proven. "wow" LMAO That doesn't change the fact that the NFC East is lightyears better than the NFC West. You left out the part where they play in the only division where every team was .500 or better and 3 of the 4 teams are in the playoffs, to include the #1 seed. Their #1 receiver is literally a dude from our practice squad. LMAO The Niners have one of the most talented top to bottom rosters in football.
-
The Giants also play in the most competitive division in football, while SF plays in the joke that is the NFC West. Shanahan also has a much more talented roster to work with than Daboll. Thei Giants' best receiver was on our practice squad.

Kinda hard to give McD coach of the year when the Bills were betting favorites to win the SB coming into the season.
