  1. I don’t think the Steelers are making the playoffs and that kinda stinks because I would love to play them round 1 if we don’t get the 1 seed. They have 3 losses with games against the Eagles, Chiefs, Bengals (2x), Ravens, and Browns again. Wouldn’t shock me if they lost 5 of those.
  2. Thats the point. Imagine Mahomes trying to call the play in the huddle and that train whistle is going off. Its great… because it’s annoying.
  3. Im surprised so many here hadn’t heard it before. It’s not new. A lot of the young people singing it weren’t alive when it was on the radio 21 years ago.
  4. What’s up with everyone thinking we lose to the Lions? Ill take Allen over Goff any day of the week. I do admit that the Lions OC is a savant and they have many weapons, but I won’t be shocked at all if McD limits them quite effectively. Im more worried about the 49ers. They are desperate.
  5. Literally the first 6 words of the post you quoted.
  6. I know the metrics look good, and I certainly won’t say he is doing a bad job because he isn’t…. but I just personally can’t stand the way Brady calls a game. The number of times that we have all (or nearly all) of our receivers in the same area, or in front of the sticks, is mind-boggling. He just doesn’t seem to believe in spacing. Daboll is a master at spacing. We had so many guys running open when he was here. And Brady is the worst culprit of poor spacing on 4th down in my opinion. He constantly calls plays where the pass catchers are right at the dang sticks. For example: The red-line is the first down and we have all of our pass catchers playing right to the line. Hate it. It gives zero margin for error. He’s done it for the past 4 games or so and it drives me nuts. This was last week when he did it too. 3 of our 4 receiving options were right at the sticks. Just bugs me. When you’re looking for a life partner, personality matters, right? That doesn’t mean they’re not a good person. In the same sort of way, I know and acknowledge that Brady is a good OC. But his “personality” (style) just doesn’t mesh with me.
  7. Find it then… I tried. Searched every way I could think of. “Predict”, “Prediction”, “Chiefs Bills”, etc. Couldn’t find any such thread.
  8. There was no prediction thread. There was a typical pre-game thread with a few vague predictions like “Josh Allen won’t lose” and “we need to slay the dragon” but that’s about it. #1 MLB out #1 WLB out #1 CB out #3 CB out #2 DT out #2 WR You played our B-team and it still came down to a missed kick.
  9. Yeah… that never happened. Most of us were fearing a blowout with half of the defense injured.
  10. They didn’t. The only reason the Chiefs even got past the Bills last postseason is because half the defense was injured … and it still came down to a missed kick!
  11. The same Woodie who it’s rumored call Rodgers for his permission to fire Saleh? The same Woodie who approved Rodgers trading for Davante Adams?
  12. The one unique play that that we ran this week that I really like a lot, and is going to give some defenses some pause when defending it going forward, is we ran our normal quarterback sweep, but with the pass option. this means that defense really needs to be diligent about keeping their defensive backfield covering downfield even when Josh and the guards pull out and it looks like an obvious Allen run
  13. Lol. No. I am very confident that it is NOT true that we unloaded our full arsenal of plays (while running basic inside runs over and over) while the Chiefs played vanilla.
  14. If you think this one is bad, go watch the one where McD was mic’ed up. It was 10 minutes of clapping.
  15. Not sure why you’re going downvoted - it was a dumb decision. So was the decision to change personnel after a controversial sideline catch that required that we give the Chiefs time to substitute and thus gave them time to challenge. But I agree with OP that Allen played well (I think that’s what this thread is about anyway).
  16. I could listen to Belichick talk all day. Not a comment I ever imagined myself making in the past, but his knowledge just jumps off the screen. I watched him during the Bills/Jets game and he was routinely calling out what was going to happen before it happened.
  17. Yeah, I don’t like it. Not my money though.
  18. All those flea-flickers we were running 😂
  19. Just for fun, I visited the Chiefs forum. Here are the top responses to losing: 1) “This was the Bills Super Bowl. They unloaded their clip against us and we played it vanilla. We held back.” This has been written ad nauseum by what seems like every poster there. Of course, there is zero evidence for this and multiple Bills players said it’s just another week. But its pretty funny to see Chiefs fans cope this way. 2) “The Chiefs are just going through the motions until the playoffs. They only care and play when the playoffs start.” Ahh, the Chiefs players aren’t really trying and don’t care. That must be why Mahomes had a crybaby hissy fit when we beat them last year in the regular season, and also why he ran screaming onto the field last week when they beat Denver. 3) “We were missing Pacheco and (some other random player)” Guess they don’t know we were missing our #1 WR, #1 TE, #1 RT, and our #2 WR was playing with a cast. Oh and our all-pro LB. Pretty funny stuff. If you want to see more, ChiefsPlanet is the place to laugh.
  20. Agreed. I want no part of the Bengals in the playoffs.
  21. Some of you don’t deserve Allen and deserve to be banned from earth.
  22. I thought he actually looked better in pass pro than Brown. Definitely worse run blocking though.
  23. Does anyone else feel like we, as fans, have become so accustomed to Josh Allen’s greatness that we’ve started to take the extraordinary for granted? This thought hit me during the 4th quarter when Allen unleashed a 40+ yard pass on the run that narrowly missed connecting with Morris. The reaction from some fans was disappointment - almost scoffing that Allen didn’t deliver the pass perfectly. It makes me wonder if we, as a fanbase, have forgotten just how rare and difficult a throw like that is? Or most of the plays Allen makes. I mean… There are only a handful of people on the planet who can even attempt a throw like that—on the move, under pressure, with defenders closing in. Yet, we’ve grown so used to his greatness that we now expect perfection, every time. And some people judge by that standard. He is not normal. It’s greatness, and it deserves to be appreciated, rather than judged every time a throw isn’t perfection.
