  1. “Uh, andy reid sir, what would you like us to do here?” - refs
  2. Wtf… they don’t even show us the punt!?
  3. Just FYI, but they have brand new turf. It’s not the same stuff from a couple years ago where everyone got hurt.
  4. That’s the second time i’ve seen Tua get sacked on 4th and down this season. You just can’t let that happen. Throw into double coverage if you need to. Anything but take a sack.
  5. Caleb checked out of the play - which was a quick hitter - to a longer play.
  6. Yea it was a failure on both accounts. But what was Caleb waiting for? The entire offense was set and ready with 12-13 seconds left and he waited another 5 seconds to snap it.
  7. Seriously. He was sacked with 33 seconds left and he didn’t snap the ball until 7 seconds!!!!!
  8. Caleb Williams should be EMBARASSED. wow.
  9. Lions dropping like flies.
  10. Throw the freaking ball away Caleb!
  11. Im confused about your first bullet point. I was big on him in the draft but he has looked nothing but meh this year. I’ve regretting drafting him in fantasy.
  12. I thought Detroit would look more impressive.
  13. We had some pieces but the 2018 defense was not good. We gave up 47 to Baltimore, 31 to the Chargers, 37 to Indi, 41 to Chicago, 27 to NYJ, etc. There was only a few games all season where we kept a team to under 3 TD’s.
  14. I was a Tyrod fan, mainly because he was a break-up in the monotony of QB’s we had up until that point… but you are 100% correct. This was Tyrod’s biggest fault. He was the anti-Josh. Anti gunslinger. You better be wide freaking open for you weren’t getting the ball as a receiver. The straw that broke the camels back was that Jacksonville playoff game. It’s the 4th quarter, with a minute left, we have 3 points, and he STILL couldn’t bring himself to throw anywhere even remotely dangerous in order to generate some points. He would rather lose a playoff game than throw the ball. To be fair though, that offense has no business being in the playoffs.
  15. Excellent post. I especially resonate with the end.
  16. And that’s certainly coaches prerogative to give coach speech. But that shouldn’t stop reporters from doing their job.
  17. Yes. They are just complete softball questions that tell us NOTHING. There is literally no point in the reporters even being there, because they refuse to ask questions that elicit anything but a superficial understanding of any given topic.
  18. Great question, and speaking from a fans perspective, here are a few questions I wouldn’t mind reading about. Nothing incredible, but at least they elicit some thought from the coach: 1) Entering the 13th week, I’d imagine that the majority of the playbook has been used at this point. How much (if any) does that play into strategy going forward? Do coaches feel the need to keep creating new iterations of plays in the same situation, or are you happy to go back to plays from early in the season at this point? 2) In the past, snow games had led to quite a bit of slipping by Bills players. The Cinci game comes to mind. What processes have been implemented since this game to make sure that each player will have the right cleats to avoid slipping? (ie: Have you tested various cleat and stud sizes to see what works best? Spoken to the manufacturers? Reached to other teams in harsh climates like GB?). 3) Due to the nature of Milano’s injury (biceps), what part of a LB’ers duties and responsibilities are likely to be most impacted in their comeback from this type of injury? Follow up: How long, based on your decade plus of coaching in the NFL, does it take for a player with such an injury to overcome these temporary limitations? 4) We know that players often go on vacation, visit family, etc on the bye week. Did the coaching staff do the same, or did they decide to stay back in Buffalo and start looking at game film for future opponents, or reviewing past game film to find tendencies that the team needs to get improve on? Stuff I do not care about: - What Taron Johnson’s leadership can show to young people - How happy it makes McD to see the current WR’s (what else could he say other than “great”?). - Leading questions or in general, any question that leads to an answer with only possibility.
  19. Youre right and I don’t know why I bother anymore. True journalism is dead in this city.
  20. Listening to this press conference is brutal. We have the worst local reporters. Reporter: “Coach, how much do you enjoy watching this talent group of receivers play?” McD: “Yeah, I like it” Another reporter (Sal): “How much can Taron’s leadership show to young people how to be a leader?” Mcd: “Yeah, he’s a great leader. What else is there to say that hasn’t been said. Great leader.” Just absolutely worthless questions.
  21. Weather is an equalizer. You don’t want a game to be equalized when you are rooting for the better team.
  22. Yeah! And I like being on the outside of one of these debates for once. Although, i’d question Turks wisdom in debating the topic of weather with someone whose name is TheWeatherMan…
  23. Enough of the mumbo jumbo, what’s it gonna be? And we want minute by minute.
