  1. Sal responded to Diggs asking “when did I say that?” by telling him that they have it on film from the broadcast. Diggs said “oh” and then went on to explain how he’s a competitor, etc. I don’t remember the exact verbiage but that was the gist.
  2. Thank you. I think a lot of people understood the point I was making in that thread, they just think it’s cooler to be a jerk to someone online than just admit that.
  3. If I recall correctly it was Cover 1 disguised as Cover 2 pre-snap. Poyer moves down after the snap, and the Dolphins put Hamlin in conflict by sending two deep middle routes. Hamlin was to blame, in my opinion, but also not to blame as he was darned if he did and darned if he didn’t. The 2nd deep middle receiver may have been open if Hamlin goes to Waddle.
  4. I didn’t complain about anything. In fact I specifically stated that I didn’t see either moments people are mentioning and asked if there was anything to this or if it’s nonsense. At least read the post before you make a wise crack about it.
  5. Agreed. Loved seeing him and Bass and others slide in the snow.
  6. Callers mentioned this topic on Sal Cappaccio’s show today, and Sal then asked Diggs about it during media availability. I didn’t even notice it, but apparently Diggs threw his helmet at some point when he wasn’t getting the ball. And apparently at some other point of the game, he turned around and said “get me the ball!”. I didn’t see either situation. Are people making a mountain of a molehill, or is there something to this?
  7. This is an example of what i’m talking about with Murph. This play was AMAZING. Allen throwing a TD with barely a butt-hair separating his feet from the sideline paint and Murph calls it like this: His call in no way captures the magic of this play
  8. He only played 11 snaps.
  9. I love how the Dolphins player put his entire body weight into that shove and Dawkins barely moved 1 step back.
  10. Elam had only 18 coverage snaps agains the Dolphins. Thought he looked pretty good in those 18 snaps. Seems clear the Bills are hesitant to give him a lot of snaps though.
  11. We have trouble sacking QB’s that don’t move all that well. Don’t see us having much luck sacking Fields. But overall I think we stop them other ways.
  12. Speed will always be his achilles heal I fear. Technique isn’t changing that.
  13. You’ve heard of “balls of steel”… how about “balls of ice”! Ice Balls should be Allen’s new nickname.
  14. I have no idea what this even means.
  15. For all the good that Beane has done - and the list is long and great on that front and we are blessed to have him - it would be wonderful if he spent significant resources this off-season on the o-line. Spencer Brown is going to get Allen crushed sooner or later (hopefully not before we find his replacement), and Saffolds best days are long gone. I also question how much longer Morse plays with all his head injuries. And when I say invest in the o-line, I don’t mean old retreads like Saffold and castoffs like Quessenberry. I mean high draft picks (first two rounds) and signing top tier free agents. Guys like Terron Armstead, who has been very good for Miami this season after being a top tier free agent at the Tackle position this past offseason. What to do with Dawkins? That’s a great problem to have. And James Daniels, who has been an excellent Guard for the Steelers after signing a 3 year, 26.5M contract in the offseason. Or Austin Corbett, who is on a similar deal. There is some serious talent due to become free agents this offseason (of course some will re-sign with their team), including Elgton Jenkins, Mike McGlinchey, Jack Conclin, and Orlando Brown. The opportunity should be there. Go Bills.
  16. Allen had McKenzie. He just doesn’t see him.
  17. For all the good Beane has done for this franchise, and the list is long, his building of the o-line has been abysmal. Enough of the retreads like Saffold and Quessenberry. And Spencer Brown is awful. The line needs a major overhaul.
