  1. Regardless of where it might lead... those who want to ban AR platform firearms can go f-off.
  2. Rifle are legal for anyone over the age of 18, who doesn't have a record. As a firm supporter of the 2A (I own a large number of firearms and don't believe we should be restricted on the type of firearms we can buy)... I don't know what the answer is. I served in the military and strongly feel if you can die for your country in battle, you should be allowed to own a gun. 99.9999% of gun owners never commit a violent crime. There has been studies (one from Florida in particular) that show legal conceal license owners commit violent crimes at a MUCH lower rate than your regular citizen. There are over 400 million firearms in the country right now. Very few are ever used to commit crime. So do we punish the vast majority for the actions of the very few? Should I not be allowed to own an AR-15 because of this evil racist in Buffalo? Again, not sure what the answer is right now. Many people believe that the AR platform has no other use put to kill people... which is not true, at all. It's one of the most popular hunting platforms today. I live in Southern Oklahoma and we all use AR-type rifles to hunt. As a mental health professional (LPC) I believe that the root of this is our society and how things have changed socially. When I grew up, you rarely heard of anything like this taking place. I remember hearing about the Austin bell tower shooting, as told by my dad who was in HS at the time. When I was in high school, we had gun racks in our trucks. Our HS principle actually started having us bring our rifles inside, put them unloaded in his office, until school was out (there were a few cars broken into). Society changed. Social media has taken such a toll on our kids, society in general... and for the worse. Again, I don't have the answers but don't pretend gun owners or 'firearm advocates' are the problem. We aren't.
  3. The ones put into law thanks to Republicans on the Hill? The ones the Dems voted again?
  4. I love Ed Oliver... he's going to be an All-Pro at some point (as well as Knox).
  5. Yea... because Chuba and Hall were playing defense against each other 🙄 For one thing, Hubbard wasn't the same in 2020. He went from rushing for 2,000+ yards in2019 to under 700 (had injuries all season). I never said Hall wasn't good, I just said I thought Hubbard was better and wouldn't take a chance on drafting him.
  6. Steeler fans are the worst fans in the NFL. I'm an Oklahoma State guy so naturally a huge Mason Rudolph fan.... they all clamored for Hodges after Mason came back from him being knocked out against the Ravens early that 2019 season. I kept telling them, it's not the QB... Mason is actually a SOLID backup, it's the OL and the fact the Steelers had ZERO weapons on offense. The RB sucked and the WR'ers were hurt all year. Hodges turned out way worse than Rudolph could ever be.
  7. Yea, nah. I've watched Hall play up close against my Oklahoma State Cowboys and while he's good, he's not someone I'm taken back by. Players like Thurman, Barry, AD, Ricky Williams... I was astounded watching. Not so much with Hall. He's good, but Chuba Hubbard (OSU's 2,000+ yard RB from 2019) was better in college IMO and I wouldn't have drafted Hubbard (like Carolina ended up doing).
  8. Awesome. I lived in Broken Arrow for 4 years (2001-2005) and would drive to Muskogee to avoid the tornado paths when it was heading towards BA, lol. I was last there over Halloween... took the GF and her kids to the Castle there. Mistake! 😂
  9. From Plano, Texas? I live about an hour north... right along the Oklahoma/Texas state line (Texoma area.. Tishomingo).
  10. When I went to Jackson Hole (going to Yellowstone and the Tetons) there were a boat load of Bills gear in town. I'm sure many-many Wyoming Cowboys fans are Bills fans now due to Josh.
  11. That's sorta how it is where I'm from with Dallas. *EVERYONE* rooted for the Cowboys, but my parents didn't follow the NFL, only college. Thank the Lord. Now it's a split between Dallas (I'd say 75%), KC (15%) and the rest Cleveland because of bandwagon OU fans rooting for Cleveland due to Baker.
  12. 1988, 2nd round of the NFL draft... Buffalo selects Thurman Thomas from Oklahoma State. I was 13 years old and surrounded by Dallas Cowboys fans in Southern Oklahoma. My dad and grandfather are OSU graduates (I'm a 3rd generation grad) and started following the Bills when they were on TV because of Thurman. I fell in love with the team and haven't looked back. Even with the greatest RB in college (and probably pro) history coming in right behind Thurman at Oklahoma State, I couldn't pull for Detroit. Was wondering, anyone else become a fan of Buffalo due to a player?
  13. I hope he ends up at Ole Miss (my youngest daughter is a student there) but I doubt he follows in his uncle's/grandpa's footsteps. Texas would be a mistake IMO, they have been a non-factor for a decade and even my Pokes (Oklahoma State) has dominated the Longhorns for over 10 years now (6-1 in Austin the last seven meetings and 8-4 the L12 overall)... so if you can't beat OSU with OSU's 3-4 star recruits with half the athletic budget... you're doing something wrong. Texas has problems that go beyond their coaching staff(s). I'm going to guess UGA or Alabama.
  14. He's had a 5 catch 117 yard game, a 6 catch 80 yard game, a 7 catch 60 yard game and a 5 catch 89 yard game... just this past season.
  15. He loves Buffalo... and Josh and him have a GREAT comradery. Dude was GREAT last season and he is becoming an elite TE. Tied for 1st in TDs (with Kelce, Andrews and Henry) with HALF the targets as Kelce and Andrews.
  16. FYI: Bojo is averaging 46.5 ypp (40 yard net) this season with Green Bay. Haack is averaging 42.9 ypp (37 net).
  17. Yes. About $500,000 to $1 million on average I believe. So if that's the argument.... teams like Mercer and New Mexico State not making as much money is your ground for argument against an expanded Playoff, then you win. lol Good luck tonight. Hope it's a good game.
  18. Nothing but love for the kid. OSU's (my OSU) secondary the past couple of seasons have been outstanding. There are several future NFL players on that defense. Wish Tanner the best of luck and hope he and coach tear it up in the B1G!!!
  19. We're hearing UGA here in Oklahoma. It is ridiculous and I hate OU. Kid is the lock starter for a top 10 program and he's going to shop is $$$$ around thanks to the NIL. The end of college football as we know it as started.
  20. I am not ashamed to be a fan of the Crimson Tide. My long deceased father introduced me to them at age 10. Special things go on in Tuscaloosa when it comes to football, now more than ever despite our illustrious history. You make it sound like a curse. I never said being a Bama fan is bad. I think it’s made a lot of you (like your fellow fan calling me names instead of having a conversation) arrogant. Easy, don’t play Mercer or NM State. OSU doesn’t need to play Missouri State or Tulsa plus Boise. Play ONE non conference game. Why is that difficult? AGAIN, both Bama and UGA will play the same number of games as the other divisions. The same. Not more. It works for them. It can work for us. I’ve stated this over and over and you said we’d play 20 games. Which we wouldn’t. Huh? lol, dude... SEC is the most top heavy conference in the country and has been for YEARS. Hands down. How has the SEC looked in bowl games? You’re trying to make the claim the Big XII isn’t a “real” conference. Again, let me revert back to explain why everyone hates Alabama. The arrogance. Holy crap dude. 🤦🏻‍♂️ 1. There are few Sabans like there are few Belichicks. Few Woodens. Alabama is a blue blood. OSU will never out recruit Alabama or OU, etc. Like Alabama won’t out recruit OSU in hoops, why? History. With the NIL, will be even harder so it’s up to coaching and what you can do with your 3* recruits. 2. Mike Gundy is one of the best coaches in college football. See my 3* comment. NO coach does what he does with less talent. Period. 3. We do. ONLY team OSU has struggled with the past 15 years is OU. We beat everyone else. Including Texas. 4. See #3 I've explained my thoughts about what senecio would work. Several times.
  21. kids are opting out now because of other non NY6/CFP bowls are pointless. Expanding that gives them a reason to play. And what happened to Corral is rare. Kid has played his entire career like he did last night (my youngest is at Ole Miss) and he just got hurt. Could happen in week 1. So reduce the games by 1 (non conference). You still only have to play 15 total games. Alabama and UGA are doing that already. Again, I get why you don’t want it. You’re a Bama fan.
  22. Nice. Is this how Alabama fans are? I argue for expansion and you throw out insults. Real nice dude. And yea... I apologize, I meant Bill. That neglects my explaining to you I didn’t call anyone “subpar”, that was Bills term. FYI: The entire college fanbase hates Alabama like we hate the Patriots. No one outside Bama fans like the Tide. Zero. The Bama fans make that even more apparent. Have a good one.
  23. Ummm... what? I wrote out my feelings on the playoffs. Pointed out no one plays 20 games; including the divisions with 32 teams playing post season. You ignored all my points. Reply to my points and then let me know what you’d like me to address. I will definitely address them. You’re making this about me talking about Alabama. I’m not. I’m talking expanded playoffs and why we need it and how it can work. You bring up Bama, Saban and the Tides schedule? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
