  1. I never said that. I've lost two people to suicide. The point is, self inflecting gunshots should have a separate category. More people die (suicides) using other methods than a firearm. But looking at firearms, Texas has a HIGH number of firearms and a low suicide rate.
  2. This is also 'cherry picking'. Most gun related deaths in the United States are suicides.
  3. So you have a lot in common with those quotes. No solutions.
  4. Amen. I didn't see ANYONE here post about the high school graduation shooting outside NOLA last week. No one here cared.
  5. For the 3rd time, I've posted ideas. On the other hand, you? Nothing.
  6. It's time to put you on ignore.... because you. Don't. Provide. Solutions. Or. Ideas. JUST complain.
  7. Again, BillStime provides ZERO solutions. Just b*tch and post tweets.
  8. I didn't say guns will be banned. "Assault weapon ban" is what I'm talking about. Macy's is up over 7%
  9. That's the only reason. When someone (nearly always on the left) comes out wanting a ban (like 1994, which proved it did nothing to stop school shootings), gun sales will increase.
  10. No, it's dumb. "NRA wants your babies to die" type tweet. Totally ridiculous. You've done nothing to provide ideas here. Just complain and post tweets.
  11. Another moronic tweet. You're doing one hell of a job with ridiculous comments!
  12. Again (I've replied twice to you now the past 10 minutes), I've posted ideas. You've just complained.
  13. Post Sandy Hook: The executive actions signed by President Obama were: Issuing a presidential memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Addressing unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), that may prevent states from making information available to NICS. Improving incentives for states to share information with NICS. Directing the attorney general to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks. Proposing a rule making to give law enforcement authorities the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun. Publishing a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers. Starting a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign. Reviewing safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission). Issuing a presidential memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations. Releasing a report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and making it widely available to law enforcement authorities. Nominating an ATF director. Providing law enforcement authorities, first responders and school officials with proper training for armed attacks situations. Maximizing enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime. Issuing a presidential memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to research gun violence. Directing the attorney general to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenging the private sector to develop innovative technologies. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes. Releasing a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities. Providing incentives for schools to hire school resource officers. Developing model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship, and institutions of higher education. Releasing a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover. Finalizing regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within insurance exchanges. Committing to finalizing mental health parity regulations. Starting a national dialogue on mental health led by Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services, and Arne Duncan, the secretary of education.
  14. I never said that. I've actually talked about my ideas on this forum.
  15. Maybe we should find some actual precogs? Have a futuristic phone line that calls BACK in time? Again, moronic tweet.
  16. WORLD WIDE - Worst school massacres in world history. The top 10 are all in other countries. Bath School in 1927 is 13th on the list. 15th on the list is VA Tech... school shooting, worst in US history, carried out with a .22 pistol and 9mm pistol. No AR-15 in sight. We can stop pretending it's just the United States. Evil will find a way. If that's using a knife, a truck, a bomb, etc.
  17. There isn't a number to call when seeing someone walk into a school w/an AR-15? Ever heard of 911? Holy crap dude.
  18. You tell me how we stop evil finding a way to kill someone. You want to ban the AR-15? Let me know what the worst school shooting was and what weapon(s) used to carry that one out. EVIL will always find a way. It just doesn't happen in America with shootings, it happens in Europe... Asia... S. America... Africa... with bombs, trucks, knives, etc. Out of the worst school shootings in the world, the United States has two of the top 15. Bath School (12th) and Va Tech (15th). AR-15's weren't used in either one.
  19. Again, you're talking about our Founding Fathers who wrote the Bill or Rights.
  20. Moronic tweet award goes to Betty Bowers for May 24th
