Why do people ever bring children to a restaurant? Honest question. My wife and I are not having kids yet because we enjoy traveling, great restaurants, etc. We pay extra when we travel to tropical locations for "kid free" hotels. It's worth every penny. I understand we are in a vast minority of not having kids but we know that if we ever do, one of the expenses will be a babysitter for any time we go out. Flying? Well I don't have an answer for that other than some nice noise canceling headphones but why should your choice to procreate interfere with my steak?

Finished True Detective Season 1 last week. The final episode, in my opinion, was awful. Just started Hannibal. Two episodes into the first season. Not sure yet. Looks like it will be very repetitive and predictable. Watched the first two seasons of rectify. The third is on now and off to a slow start. The Following with Kevin Bacon was great and I actually like that it got canceled before the writers could muck up a series finale. The last episode of the third season (which turned out to be the last episode) was good enough for me. I also loved SOA and Breaking Bad of course. My favorite of all time, however, was Rescue Me.

Van was never flashy. That's not a knock on RJ, it's just the truth. This is some of the saddest Bills news I've heard. These old timers were the last of a dying breed. Love the current team/administration/etc but nothing will hold a candle to the memories. And Van is a huge piece of that.

How the hell do I post a picture here? I've only been posting for 12 years. You'd think I'd know that. Anyway, My wife went to U of AZ. Met John Fina at a tailgate. Have a picture of him and I, and then he said "you want to try on my ring?" Great picture (minus my face being in it) wearing a bills AFC championship ring. Coolest guy ever.

I've ran into him about 5 times down here in VB. To his defense, the first time I asked for a picture, like a dbag, but it was after he saw my bills tattoo. He said "no, I'm not taking a picture with your freaking tattoo." Looking back, I think I might not like myself any longer.

I used my Xbox one. Actually as I've said in threads about the system the only reason I bought the Xbox was for streaming content (I don't play video games). That said if you hard wire it with an Ethernet cable, rather than wifi there really isn't buffering. The problem with it (and any streaming) is the delay. It can be anywhere from 5 seconds to a solid minute. That's fine unless you own a cell phone and have any friends who are Bills fans. When watching, I have to turn my phone on silent and face down, because if I hear it buzz, or see the screen light up, I know it's one of my friends either saying "iiiiiii gotta feelin!" Or "!@#$ING DOUG!!" Due to my job, turning my phone completely off isn't an option.

Quit a 6-8 can per day habit of diet Pepsi 3 years ago. Now, ice water or soda water/seltzer. The crappy part? I feel absolutely no better and lost zero weight.

The Bills have never gotten rid of guys who end up performing better on other teams, ESPECIALLY running backs...

They do offer streaming. Just click a box that says you can't get DTV in your area. I do it every year and stream it to my iPad when the Bills aren't playing the Jags and to my 65" TV when they are. $350 but beats going to a bar.
