  1. Now here’s a topic I could talk about for hours. My biggest (and definitely most expensive) hobby is watch collecting. I have bought and sold well over 50 watches over the last five years or so. I’ve always loved watches, even as a kid. My current collection: Rolex DeepSea (my daily watch) Cartier Santos Rolex Cellini (my dress watch, which with working from home full time doesn’t get much love.) Ming 17.09. This is a micro brand and probably my favorite watch. And of course a Casio G Shock.
  2. My all time favorite is “this ***** guy.” It’s used every time any player or coach doesn’t do exactly what I, from my couch, think they should have done instead of what they actually did. Sometimes the nickname stands by itself. “This ***** guy!!” Sometimes with a bit more sarcastic flair: “Would you look at this ***** guy; must be a brain surgeon.” You can also add the word “sucks” if you want to verbalize what everyone knew you meant anyway: “This ***** guy sucks!!” The possibilities are vast: “why did we draft this ***** guy in the first place?,” “we picked this ***** guy over (fill in whoever you had on your ‘big board’)?”
  3. Plus, with T9 texting, he’d still be typing that message out.
  4. That’s more psychotic break than being a Karen. Sad video.
  5. McKenzie’s replacement for next year with a year to learn the ropes. Great pick.
  6. Old dude from the Vikings grandkids need to call him. He’s clearly lonely and needs something to talk to.
  7. I was hoping for an RB but before I got all pissed and ranted on here like a child, I remembered that Brandon Beane probably knows better than I do. He’s got a decent track record.
  8. Jets are modestly better today than they were two days ago. Killing it so far in the draft. Let’s see what they do here.
  9. Watching NFL Network right now and so far I’ve learned that Donnie Osmond might have some blood in his cocaine system.
  10. How has no one close to him gotten him some help?
  11. Dalton to Boyd is a top 5 Bills moment for me. I shed a tear. That tear likely would have registers a .20 BAC, but it was there.
  12. Some of the better comments online: “We’re paying out of Beane’s 401k at this point.” “Somehow Beane is going to structure this so that the cap hit this year is 3 dollars and a button.” And possibly my favorite; to the point and elegant: “Suck on that, Dallas”
  13. There was zero chance they were going to trade him. ….. says everyone (including myself) who is now breathing a huge sigh of relief as we remember we do indeed have Brandon Beane and not Doug ***** Whaley. Go Bills!
  14. It’s WYRK. It probably gets like 8 hits a day outside of WNY. But put these three words in the headline and, well, clicks. Lots of clicks. Clicks = money. Those three words of course are Josh, Allen, and Puppy.
  15. Having the luxury to not NEED any position is such a bizarre new feeling. That said, coming from someone who doesn’t follow college football much so don’t know what value will be there at 25, but in my opinion it’s CB then RB. We shore up those two positions and we might win every game 200-0.
  16. Make it really interesting and have both kickers take turns attempting to hit the upright or cross bar. First to hit wins, with “last ups” for the kicker who goes second. Here’s why this works: Kickers are the leading point scorers on every team, this takes the coin toss out of it, it eliminates the fear of players getting exhausted if they go to multiple overtimes, puts a little extra thought into drafting kickers, late game decisions will be made based on your kicker being able to do a parlor trick, and someone’s foot will decide the outcome so we can stop having Brits tell us that soccer is the real football. I believe this is a win/win/win/win/win/win.
  17. You just know this is going to bite us in the ass this year. Probably at the AFC Championship game. We score a TD in OT then lose.
  18. Not sure why, but this made me crack up!
  19. Someone needs to take Beane’s credit card away.
  20. This is an entirely new strategy at TBD. I like it. Off to start a few stevestojan threads. It’s been WAY too long.
  21. The Bears are going with the analytics approach. Interesting strategy; let’s see if it pays off.
  22. He also needs to have a good grasp on the victory formation.
  23. So I assume when spending nearly a quarter billion dollars, you do your due diligence. Which for Watson could be wrapped up with a quick google search, but I think maybe they did more than that. But after said diligence, they structured his contract so he would lose the least amount possible if/when his suspension hits. You don’t do that unless there’s even a small chance of suspension. So, do the Browns believe he might get suspended for a heinous act, and still went this route. There’s “the Browns being the Browns” and then there’s this. And this is pathetic.
