Imagine that, a coach that takes accountability (even though in this case it may not even truly be his fault). Sure wish the HC had the balls to be accountable for his numerous coaching misconducts, unfortunately all he does is deflect and scapegoat everyone around him,
Nothing to wonder about IMO. There is no doubt in my mind that gambling and the NFL are in bed with each other to a degree and influencing game results.
Fire McDummy now and use the bye to let whomever take over as interim HC for the rest of the season. The Bills are NEVER going to win under McDummy. His termination is long overdue.
Coach conservative and scared, and this is what you get. This game is a classic example of just how poor McDummy’s coaching philosophy and execution is.
This ONE? Seriously? A helluva lot more than one of our losses is on coaching. I still contend we are one of the worst coached and most undisciplined teams in the league, and have been since 2021.
And there-in lies one of the major issues with this offense, Why do they keep pulling Cook for Murray EVERY TIME he gets hot and rips off a few nice runs?
The problem is we have a control freak HC who NEVER takes accountability for his numerous gameday mistakes and instead deflects blame everywhere but on him or his precious defense. Our GM can't even hold McDummy accountable, and with Terry running the show, he doesn't have the courage to hold McDummy accountable either.
When a coach preaches and demands accountability for everyone but himself (and often his precious defense), you lose players and coaches and cause a divide on the team, which we've seen in place since at least 13 seconds and his gag order on any discussion of that coaching misconduct.
The Bills are just spinning wheels until someone finds the courage to hold McDummy accountable for his gross coaching misconduct on so so many gamedays.
Just lose out at this point, fire the entire front office and coaching staff, take the cap hits in 2024 with the cuts of Von, Poyer, Tre, etc, and hope you can get one last chance at SB window in the twilight of Josh's prime starting in 2025.
