Bengals have really bad coaching. I'm not sure how they made the SB.

They have 2 downs to get 2 yards and instead throw low percentage passes. Makes no sense.

Burrow already has 45 pass attempts, he's definitely gonna crack 50. Might get up to 55.

Jackson is mediocre passing all day, and a run of the mill out route adds 70 yards and a TD to his stat line.

Chase just ran around and then past the entire Ravens defense. That was kind of amazing.

His toe came down in bounds, but the rest of the foot lands out of bounds before his 2nd foot hits. The same foot hit the ground twice which only counts as 1 foot.

I’m rooting for Cincy. The Ravens have the better record and the tie breaker over us right now. I think Cincy is more likely to pick up some Ls the rest of the way.

The ESPN playoff machine is totally different right? You can find out playoff seeding by manually choosing game outcomes. It doesn't run a model to predict outcomes like the NYT one.

Sadly at least for this season he is washed. I saw it with my own eyes. Maybe another offseason to heal and get back into game shape will allow him to be serviceable next season.

Jordan Phillips was good for some nice QB pressures from inside. He was literally always hurt though...so I guess sign him up for 4-6 games until he's back on IR?

I don’t think Brady has been that great. We’re the only team to not completely torch the Ravens through the air. At the same time, being a great HC is more about being a great manager and delegator. Maybe Brady is good at that, idk.

Douglas is going to walk after this season, and Elam will be our starting boundary corner next season. The youth movement on defense continues.

It would be 2 firsts and a second I think. Something like Bills 2025 1st, Vikings 2025 2nd, Bills 2026 1st. Too rich for my blood, and we’d pretty much have to extend him to make it worth it.

It’s also protecting future cap hits as well. They need to replace these aging guys with rookie contracts. Von Miller needs replaced (maybe Solomon can do that, maybe they use that 1st round pick on a pure EDGE). Daquan Jones needs replaced. That would probably be a good use of the 2nd round pick from the Vikings… Dorian Williams needs to be replaced IMO due to performance, maybe we can sign a FA to do that. Or we could get one player for 2 seasons by using all of that draft capital and burning cap next season. All to have Mahomes pass all over our mid LBers and Safeties anyway because we have holes all over the roster.

Von Miller will be cut, Allen will be restructured (possibly given a new contract altogether). Oliver and Dawkins will be restructured. The cap will also go up. We should have +$40m in cap space next year. Edit: Also Knox could be a post-6/1 cut and save a nice chunk of cap. He’s Allen’s bestie, but he isn’t really earning his cap hit.

Our LBer play has been very poor this year. We play super bend-but-don’t-break defense in part to protect our safeties which is a super weak positional group. We have no pass rush. Adding Cooper is great, but the WR group is still pretty weak. Depth behind Taron Johnson (Cam Lewis) has been really bad, and Johnson has been injured a lot this season. If we break the bank on a pass rusher, Mahomes will just carve up our poor LBers and Safeties. This just isn’t an “all in” roster. It was supposed to be a re-tool year where we take our cap medicine and some younger players get reps.

All in would be trading multiple high picks for someone like Myles Garrett. It’s what the Rams did during their recent SB. I don’t think it’s the right move for this roster.
