  1. If they DON'T come out looking like the last few games, there will be questions from the Bills side. The Packers look beaten up and confidence shot. We're coming off the bye with enough players rested and fit. Shouldn't be any excuses but... has anyone mentioned the Jags last year yet?
  2. Agreed, it must be quite a shock. But any given Sunday - nothing can be taken for granted. And even with struggling teams, it's the hope that keeps people ticking over week to week. Except we used the running game more against the Chiefs. Have the horrible feeling we may put Morris on the inactive list for Moss.
  3. For those in the UK, remember the clocks go back this weekend so, from Sunday onwards for the entire week, the games are starting an hour earlier than usual (as IIRC the clocks don't go back in the US until next week). Early Sunday afternoon (1.30pm): Broncos 'at' Jaguars Early Sunday evening (5pm): Patriots at Jets Late Sunday evening (8.25pm): 49ers at Rams Early Monday (12.20am): Packers at Bills Early Tuesday (12.15am): Bengals at Browns Early Friday (12.15am): Eagles at Texans
  4. I think the issue with the likes of Zappe, Jones and Lawrence is they may have been 'world class' quarterbacks if we go back five to ten years, in the era when pocket passing was key. But defenses have adapted since then, and extra strength, sight, legs or a mixture of two or three is needed to elevate quarterback play above the mire.
  5. The original intention was for Ryan to be their QB this year. During the Titans game, or straight after it, they decided that they wanted to bench him and try Ehlinger for the rest of the season, no matter what Ryan's injury status was.
  6. Hope he recoevrs quickly; he had made a real impact. I thought the Jets offense was very reliant on him. Will be interesting to see how they adapt.
  7. Not saying they would. Just, despite their obvious issues on offense, they needed up scoring only one less point than us. In truth, it's amazing they got to 23.
  8. Surprised no one's wondering about LaFleur.
  9. If they can get everyone fit I think they have a chance - partly because the NFC is so weak.
  10. In terms of points scored, the 49ers are only one off us from last week. Mike Williams of the Chargers now injured with a leg injury.
  11. Their defense is more likely to score than their offense, either way.
  12. He would have probably dropped the pen anyway.
  13. I thought the Jets offense would be nothing without Hall. That does seem to be the case.
  14. It was said before, Kelce has some kind of withcraft which repeals defenders. Think the 49ers would have expected Bosa to have more of an affect than he's managing.
  15. From the second half kick off there might be ANOTHER knee injury in the Seahawks-Chargers game. Nick Bellore this time; hit his knee on the ground making a tackle. ETA - Thankfully he was able to run off. Now saying could be a concussion.
  16. Looks like a serious injury for JC Jackson. Cart on the field for him.
  17. Might have another knee injury in Seahawks and Chargers - JC Jackson this time.
  18. DK Metcalf out of the game for the Seahawks with a knee injury.
  19. Lance? True, and he could still grow. He just doesn't stand out as anything special IMO - I think I rate Pickett over him at this (very) early stage.
  20. The 49ers had a good reason wanting to move away from Jimmy G. The trouble is I don't think Lance is the answer either.
  21. Well that was stupid by Blount for the Seahawks - ran right into the Chargers returner who has called a fair catch. The ball hadn't even reached him!
