  1. I’m also more calm, but for a different reason. I think the Bills are going to surprise the Chiefs in a big way, and come away with a commanding victory. They’re a goddam juggernaut that, were it not for a stunning desperation pass, would be on a 3 MONTH winning streak come gameday. I personally cannot be complacent at this point. It’s a cliche, but teams just don’t get this opportunity often, and we can’t assume that next year will be just as successful. (Yeah, I’m looking at you, Niners.) There is absolutely no reason to think that, right here, right now, this can be the Bills’ year. I guarantee everyone in the locker room is feeling that way. Just win, baby.
  2. I predict that this game gets away from Mahomes as he is not 100% and there is some unraveling and uncharacteristic mistakes. Bills play their A game on offense, defense and special teams. Bills-40 (5 tds, 1 FG, 1 safety) Chiefs-17 Oh, and they’re winning the Super Bowl too in case you were wondering.
  3. I think Saturday is the most important game of a possible run. If Josh can get over the hump of winning a playoff game, his confidence will be through the roof. But if we see flustered, red-faced, impetuous Josh, that won’t be good. If Bills win Saturday, I guarantee at the very least an AFC Championship appearance. And if the Chiefs were not the reigning champs I would guarantee a SB appearance.
  4. Maybe statistically, but shouldn’t a coach be able to read the body language of his players? They were getting pummeled: out-physicaled and outrun. The QB was a hot mess. He needed to fold up his tent and get the hell out of Buffalo.
  5. I will add the (failed) 2 point conversion attempt down 30 with no chance of winning. I believe that move kept the foot on the accelerator.
  6. 100%. Bills were so good I thought they would easily truck the Giants. 30 years later I almost still can’t believe it was a competitive game, let alone a loss.
  7. Game ball to the entire team, coaching staff, GM and ownership. A record breaking beat down of a rival when the organization could have decided to play it safe. But there has to be special mention for Isaiah—3 TD’s for heaven’s sake and the punt return was a work of art. Could there be any better momentum headed into the postseason?
  8. Given what I’ve seen so far, anything short of an AFC Championship appearance will be a big disappointment.
