  1. Mario Williams was so good in college, he made his teammate John McCargo look like a stud and tricked some foolish team into drafting McCargo in the first round...
  2. Click your name in the upper right corner and pick "My Settings", then click the "Profile" tab, look at "Profile Information", you type what you want under "Member Title"
  3. James Hanna is a TE from Ok that scored the fastest 40 & 60 yd shuttle for TE's and was in the top 4 for every other combine drill. The reviews on him are that he is an excellent receiver that can catch anything thrown in his vicinity, but has trouble getting off the line if he is aggressively attacked. To me, catching is a more instinctive ability, where techniques for getting by someone at the line can be taught. I'm hoping he could be a late-round steal in the mold of Gronk.
  4. Chandler Harnish meets all of the criteria listed here, except I can't find if he has taken the Wonderlic test yet.
  5. Tebow's senior year: 2895 yds passing, 910 yds rushing Harnish's senior year: 3216 yds passing, 1379 yds rushing And Tebow was surrounded by a lot more talent at Florida than Harnish was at NIU. Bills could get Harnish in the later rounds and start breaking him in by using him in wildcat formations.
  6. For those of you wanting Tebow, take a look at Chandler Harnish, the QB for Northern Illinois. He will be playing in the Shrine game on 1/21. For the stat-oriented: My link His QB rating, TD to INT ratio, completion % and his rushing yards are all excellent. Going just by the stats, he would be worth a later round pick.
  7. What games? For the last 12 years, I was under the impression football ends when the season ends...
  8. I agree on getting Coples if none of the big-name QB's are available. I've watched most of the games Coples has played and IMO, he is better than Peppers was at UNC.
  9. The new CBA will force Wilson to spend more to meet the salary floor level, but that floor doesn't take effect until 2013...
  10. At this point it is like watching a train wreck: horrifying, yet spectacular in its own way.
  11. Bills football & Tarheels basketball are the only sports I watch. I stopped watching the NBA when the Braves left Buffalo and I would stop watching the NFL if the Bills left town.
  12. My RD#1 pick is Quinton Coples, DE from UNC. Coples, Dareus & Williams as are front 3 would rock.
  13. Sign him and pay him per tackle (behind the LOS only).
  14. Living down here in Tarheel country, the player I wish the Bills would pick is DE Quinton Couples from UNC. The guy is very fast for a DE, yet also has the power to straight bull-rush.
  15. Whichever receiver gets lined up across from Revis should just do an all-out fly route down the field. Simply run Revis' butt into the ground with exhaustion. Kind of like a football rope-a-dope. That or we could have one of our coaches trip him along the sideline...
  16. Teh Wikipedia link said the kicker could kick with a person holding the ball or "drop kick" the ball. Is a drop kick a punt? Could Moorman then punt us a field goal?
  17. Get the UFL player, he will fit in well with the team's current mojo. And if he plays like the rest of our undrafted misfits, he will probably end up leading the league in sacks by the end of the season.
  18. I love the Moats' comment: "It's definitely a Harvard scream"
  19. I know, I know, Brady is an unstoppable god of football and we should just give up, BUT SD made many mistakes, one of them being staying in a pass defense ost of the day, often rushing only 3 guys. Also, it didn't help that SD turned the ball over 3 times inside the Patriots 35. Koppen is a Pro-bowl center and one of the best in the NFL, it is a big dropoff in talent with Connoly. I am anticipating Williams will school the backup center on more than a few plays.
  20. Dan Koppen has been Brady's center for the last 8 years (I don't think Koppen has ever lost to the Bills)and he has just been placed on IR. This can only bode well for the Bills, especially for Kyle Williams & Dareus. The key to beating Brady is pressure up the middle and the guy they have replacing Koppen, Dan Connoly, is a backup guard. If we can generate consistent pressure up the gut without blitzing, Brady will not be able to throw his favorite pass: the short slant to Welker/TE's. I Billieve that if you take that play away from Brady, the Pats* offense comes to a screeching halt.
  21. At the NFL.com website you can buy a jersey with whatever name you make up (I think they censor the naughtier names) and whatever number you want. I bought my wife one for last Xmas with our last name and her birthday number because every other jersey I had bought had become obsolete (Lynch, Spikes, Poz, etc). Of course, the Bills then changed the jersey colors...
  22. Cut to the broadcast booth: Gannon: "The Bills hike the ball and...what the? Marv? What are you doing?? Oh my God, he's biting me!!" Thus the Zombie Apocalypse begins...
  23. The Lions should be worried, the year they went 0-16, they were 4-0 in the preseason.
  24. Jake Delhomme--he wasn't cut, but he wasn't re-signed by the Saints and he signed as a free agent with the Panthers. Kurt Warner is another, he was undrafted, was released/cut by Packers in training camp, bagged groceries, played arena football, then went onto become a Super Bowl MVP.
  25. I am looking forward to seeing one thing we haven't seen in 10+ years: getting consistent pressure on the QB! I am so sick of seeing opposing QB's have enough time to have a smoke before throwing the ball (especially Brady).
