We like to buy our cars used and make them last forever. It's a habit that allows us to invest in other things with long term gains, like real estate. We finally got rid of our 2004 Optima this year, so our oldest vehicle now is a 2009 which still runs great. I suppose if I were in the market for a new car it would be a problem. But you should only buy a new car if you can afford it, and think that it would really add some extra value to your life. Some people are 'car people' and really enjoy their new cars. There's nothing wrong with that if it fits your budget!

It was great watching the splashdown and the astronauts' return! Also there was a merry pod of dolphins frolicking around the operation. (no Tua sighting, though!) There was a hilarious remark on Fox News on it, something like (former astronaut and Dem Senator) "Mark Kelly probably wants to 'key' the capsule!" lol. Kelly wasn't happy about our 'cooperation with the Russians' or Musk getting credit for 'rescue.' He sounded butthurt over the whole thing actually. But he made a big deal recently about trading in his Tesla for a gas-guzzling SUV. Great stuff!

I doubt Obama, Trump or Biden knew anything about the funding directed overseas for research that was prohibited in the U.S. It seems they hid the true nature of what was going on with some fancy paperwork.
