Not too long ago (last week!) one poster wished death on 'anti-vaxxers' children/grandchildren. Of course being against one or two vaccines, or delaying any of them, makes you an 'anti-vaxxer.'

Random vehicle deaths are the cost of private transportation in this country. Most of us are okay with that. That doesn't mean we should be celebrating car accidents as anyone's ironic just desserts.

Well if people had been following the trajectory of what Charlie Kirk has been saying of late, and who might be disturbed by that, then you'd have a better idea of motive. I don't expect anyone to get that deep into it, but there's no way the shooter was one of your Garden Variety Trans Crazies. So if they come up with evidence of THAT, it is misdirection.

I'm on a board of a private school. We've already had one teacher post some hate speech vis a vis Charlie Kirk on her social media. She is separated from her job as of today. For the record, the school is getting slammed with accusations from BOTH sides of the political spectrum -- from the right for 'allowing' her to say what she did, and from the left for terminating her. But there is a clause in her contract about being aware of your social media presence and how certain types of speech could reflect on the school, so that is the 'cause' of the action. We've also hired extra security to protect the school for now.

I think you're exactly on the right track here for a number of reasons: 1. The shooter had access to the roof. People familiar with the campus and its buildings say there would be NO access to the roof from the inside without getting an official person to unlock it for you, if you're authorized to be up there. Of course you could access it externally with some help and secrecy, which would involve a bit of pre-planning. 2. A suspicious plane left the Provo airport within an hour of the shooting, it illegally turned off its radar transponder (whatever they call it), and returned an hour later. 3. There were several people within the crowd who appeared to be serving as decoys/distractions. 4. There were several people on the ground who appeared to be giving odd signals. 5. It would be easy enough for a 'crazy' person to simply shoot him straight up from the crowd. This has the appearances of a targeted hit. So I don't think the political left was responsible for it. They are responsible for their reactions to it though.

I have to intervene on the above because I believe that video was taken BEFORE Kirk's appearance began. He isn't celebrating his death.

The main issue here is the CRIMINAL (with a long record of prior crimes) "pouncing" on an innocent commuter.
