It's really a combination of QB, coaching, play calling, and front office acceptance of mediocrity. It truly takes a group effort to screw up so many variables. Were the names of any of our D-line players mentioned for their play today. "Super Mario" was taken out of the game by a second-string, third year player, mono-le-mono. On one play, he was standing in the backfield looking totally lost while the RB ran right past him. Not sure where this is headed, but it didn't look like he earned is $800,000 today...

After watching the Chargers offense clicking against a relatively good defense last night, I see us picking up another "L" on Sunday. Our defense is just too weak. The only glimmer of hope we have is luck in the turnover department and maybe our offense will play a complete game. Though he had a few penalties, I was impressed with Gaither starting at left tackle for his first game with the bolts. There's another guy we should have picked up...
