Who is your most hated division rival now?
Ghost_002! replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills record from 00-2015..2018 per pro-football-reference.com 2000*** 8-8 (colts were still in our division at the time) 2001**** 3-13 (last time colts were in our division) 2002*****8-8 2003*****6-10 2004*****9-7 2005*****5-11 2006*****7-9 2007*****7-9 2009****6-10 2010****4-12 2011****6-10 2012****6-10 2013****6-10 2014***9-7 2015****8-8 2016****7-9 2017****9-7 2018****6-10 Yup if the Patriots just spotted you guys one more win it would of truly made a difference huh? We not even gonna talk about the Bills not being good against the rest of the NFL. It was because of the Patriots. -

haha to keep the jets out the playoffs?? the Jets?? The jets nor your bills were rarely ever good teams during the pats 20 year run. The deflated balls wasn't much either especially since plenty QBs came out and said they inflated and deflated their footballs a certain ways all the time. A.Rodgers was one of the QBs who said he adjusts the balls to his liking. Please stop making this thing out to be "water gate" it was never that serious. Oh yea and i am wondering, how is your petition working to stop BB and the pats from benefitting from all their success? Got like 20 signatures at least yet? -

Think about it, I know it maybe hard for you to do, but exactly how "incriminating" were those tapes. Since 07 there has been no ex-employee from the pats or the NFL itself to come out and say there was actually harder evidence on those tapes implicating the patriots to so much more (not even a very good, very detailed oriented new reporter). You really think R. Goodell & the NFL...the same NFL that can't even get the COVID rules correctly, was able to cover up "the real truth of spygate" to everyone including US government?? haha sureeee...i bet i can convince you i seen bigfoot in my back yard. and don't get it twisted it. They are definitely guilty of spygate, but it's not as bad as hurt fans make it out to be. They proved it in 07 how much "spygate" didnt affect how they win games. -

No it wasn't. No evidence of that. Not even on those destroyed tapes. The main reason for the Bills 20 year drought was the front office fail to build a team to compete. -
The QBs i listed that won SBs. Were anyone of them Elite QBs? Including Brady in 01. And again saying it clear for anyone not understanding what i am saying. You need a solid QB to compete in this league, you can win with a solid QB, if your team is built strong enough, he doesn't need to be top 5 dead or alive in order for you to succeed.
-
So after 2 games and a new stat never mention before (we talking air yards nows...) now we can predict what a QBs career is going to be. Got it. That helps but you can just know how to move in the pocket and avoid rushes, you don't have to be Lamar Jackson, Mahomes, Allen, etc....
-
He is a rookie learning to play in the NFL. Worry about it if he figures it out and the Bills haven't won a ring yet. (if this is what that all means) And if your team is built strong enough and you have a good coach, your QB doesn't need to be the best in the league or even top 5. Trent Dilfer Brad Johnson Eli Manning Joe Flacco Tom Brady (01) all not consider great QBs and won SBs. Brady in 01 was a game manager, no where near what he became. (i notice how that "game manager" title gets thrown around to discredit QBs) If they are 1st, 2nd year QBs you want to bring them along right, not screw them up for the rest of their careers. Even a Jimmy G and a Matt Ryan went to a SB. Matt Cassell went 11-5 with a strong team around him. It doesn't end all w the QB. It takes way more than having a great QB. if that was the case. Peyton, Rodgers and Brees would have a sh*t ton more.

Miami barely beat New England.
Ghost_002! replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Easy answer. It comes down to the organizations getting the right coaching staff and having the right philosophy for their team (same as in any business) The pats were able to benefit from it early where as the rest of the division still had to find their way. You guys are definitely there now and if the Fins and the patriots can be competitive this division is gonna be fun to watch...A heart attack for us all as fans, but still some good back n forth football that will take place. No it would be a 3-way tie. Miami at 1-1 Bills at 1-1 And either pats or the jets at 1-1 -

The shorter passes or the wheel route that Jones hit White on coming out the backfield? -

you mean like the JETs ha ha...i mean they had to go high in the draft for a QB twice, in a five year span! -

I hear what you are saying. I look at it more as they game plan to help the rookie along more because..he is a rookie, but he made 39 pass attempts(with a vary of different throws) and was put in situations (3rd and long) where that "just dinking and dunking" was not gonna do it. And don't get me wrong, i know you arent saying anything bad at all. I just think he look more like a QB that could last long in this league and he could handle the "regular" load most franchise QBs can handle once he is a season vet. I honestly think he will be able to handle being down 2 scores at some point this season and over come it. At some point. -
9/12/2021 Steelers @ Bills Post Game thread
Ghost_002! replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
opposing fan thought: I wouldn't take too much from the Bills loss yesterday. The offense was just off. I woudn't expect Allen to play that bad next week. And i know we shouldnt make these kind of excuses for our team. But for me, the turning point was that pass inference called for the Steelers. That would of been 3 and out and stall their offense which still wasn't doing much at that point. -

He wasn't though, did you watch the game? He was in a few 3rd and long facing a miami blitz quite often and made great throws. In general there were a few strikes right up the middle over 20 yards and a couple strikes toward the side lines as well. You are the first person i heard say he was "dinking and dunking" -
Are we going to be like the obnoxious and unbearable Patriot fans?
Ghost_002! replied to Leonitas's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting. Some Bills fans think they don't act like every other fan in America in every sports..... ha ha wow... -
Looks like someome needs to tell the nfl that because so far I haven't seen that asterisk... While you're starting that petition up you should get the NFL to update their websites n language... You seem like u got a lot to do, I would get on it soon so u don't miss any bills games..

Jim Kelly Was Better Than Brady Imo..
Ghost_002! replied to Billsfanatic8989's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's untrue to say Brady, Manning..etc did not play in a "tough era" of football. The rule changes to QBs started in 06. They were already playing and winning then. That's the thing. To play as a QB in the NFL what matters most is that thing between your ears. The ability is a small part of the equation. As cerebral as Manning was...he didnt perform as great in the playoffs as he did in the regular season. -
If we are going to say "that was last year" then that applies to every game against every team this year, right? Yes i do. I don't think think SD will be a problem, BB in general has never had an issue beating any SD Chargers team. So we are going to go with the any given sunday logic, which is fine. So why we "mad" that SI has the bills at 11-6? Any given sunday right?

You think when he goes into the HOF and is still consider the greatest coach of all time, they will put that on his headstone?...in fact you should start a petition.
