This is funny how fans pick and choose how to debate. So for some BB is looked at as the great defensive mind who got lucked into Brady Andy Reid is better..well Reid is an offensive mind who wasn't thought about until he got Mahomes. Besides Brady, BB has used sh*t QBs. Reid seen one SB w McNabb which at that time played like an above average QB. We have seen that all thru history. A QB getting on a hot streak and making it to a SB. Flacco, Jimmy G, Eli Manning, Kaepernick, I can go on. Before Mahomes, Ried wasn't seeing any rings. BB had 2 as a defensive coordinator which one of his SB game plans is in the HOF. He knows how to stop high power offenses. As great as a offensive mind Reid is, BB is that for the defense end. Who coached up alot of good defensive players into solid ones. Just as Reid has done w QBs Can't penalized BB for having Tom Brady, if you aren't going to penalized Reid for having Mahomes, or Walsh for Montana, etc. Again i can go on..

Tom Brady wasn't Tom Brady until like his 3rd SB. The patriots went on a killer streak once Brady took over. And Drew Bledsoe was an OK QB in the end. Nobody knows that more after Patriots fans than Buffalo fans.

So...there's been teams and coaches contending for SBs since the very first time of NFL football, yet there is very very few teams and coaches who can say they went and won multiple SBs. And I didn't conveniently leave anything out. There comes a time when you aren't great anymore.. Do we want to go back and look at the buccaneers roster inwhich Brady won with? Do we wanna remember the buccaneers defense that Brady won with and the run they went on in the playoffs? Remember Brady's last season n playoff game in NE with no weapons and how bad he looked to the point many people thought he should retire? Brady didn't go to the jets and turned them into a SB team. He went to a team that was just missing a QB cause their QB the year before threw 20ints.

Every team had aging players here and there. Obviously 53 spots to fill. But overall the pats are pretty young on defense. They got younger back 2020 in the draft. And every team is different and what every coach is looking for is different as well. Harbaugh/ BB will look for a already made roster. There are other coaches who will look for a good situations/ good ownership. And there will be coaches just happy to have a job. The Patriots are a good situation from the stand point that they have a top pick and cap space amd good ownership. That is perfect for a younger coach to come in and make it their team. Plus Varbel has already expressed interest in coaching for the Patriots.

Their top corner who looks to be a stand out is/was a rookie Christian Barmore their D-end who came on the last few games was drafted in 21 Kevion white another D-end Was drafted in 2023 Jabril peppers 28yr Kyle Dugger strong Stafety drafted 2020(27yr) Josh Uche LB. Drafted 20. (25 yes old) Not going to go through the whole roster, that would be wild, but went through some noticeably names on defense just now.

That defense is not aging. Vrabel has already said he wants to coach in NE.(should they choose him) And a top 3 pick is still a top 3 pick.

They have a top pick and plenty of cap space.

But I can say, Josh Allen is a generational talent. A once in a life time thing...you don't just get rid of that in such a short time, championship or not. Kind of shocked by how negative people are against Mike Vick. I would say. Cause he wants to play overall..he can sign a 1 year deal, ball out and get what he wants next year. This has been the same for years. A player says what he wants, he doesn't get it, then he goes to the next step, take what's out there in hope of trying again in free agency next year. Again..no other team is offering him anything.
