  1. Generalizing much. I never overhyped Mac Jones.
  2. Again we realize he is a rookie, no? do we realize it's rookie season, no? it's one game and not a career right or you telling me Yes "the greatest coach of all time" drafted a QB that he would have to "protect" and "hide" is inabilities every single time? Does that even make sense? Why draft him if his inabilities are greater than his abilities to help you win? My point. I dont put Mac Jones abilities over any other rookie QB, but i suspect overall when he needs to get the job done, he will. if you are going to judge this one very special occasion against him, as i am trying to say.... Cool do you. Doesn't really matter much at this point. As i said, i know who i was addressing and what i specifically said. This is one game in bad weather for any QB to play in, but yea why did BB draft this dude....
  3. So when a team elects not to kick in the wind does that also mean they do not think their kicker is good? I mean you and that other poster is using a horrible weather game to judge a player, a rookie at that, so there really not much to say IMO other than "typical". and you are wrong, i was't addressing as far as i can remember...if i was addressing you i would of replied to you plan and simple. so yes you are wrong and i also specifically stated what i was challenging that poster on...and i love how a few posters here get upset over something the media says or when they feel nobody is respecting the bills, but me having a debate with someone...a debate which everyone here does, It's looked at as being "butt hurt and insecure" ha ha Ok. Sure. Cool. also..i don't care who here likes or dislike Jones or any Pats player...i just overall think it's interesting how they are judged by rival fans. But please.. assume what you already assume.
  4. Thkx for the compliment. But this board has a lot to say about him both good and bad and I am not in every convo. About him. I have only addressed one poster about Mac Jones today just cause I though it was a baseless claim. i am not going to bat for him with every poster.. please don't misunderstand. Now @coloradobills i hope you see that I am replying to someone who replied to me first.. I am not in here purposely trying to derail the thread. And thk u @JGMcD2 for your post. Peace!
  5. so we are going to ignore other posters and just focus on my post. Cool.
  6. You realize you are playing this same "lucky" team trying to win the division this year right..after only 18 months of being on top after 20 years before that?
  7. And please tell me what are the bills? See the pats weren't suppose to compete in the division this year with a rookie QB but here they are And oh I see..everytime the bills lost it meant the pats got lucky and won enough to catch up to the bills and move past them, got it!
  8. Show me where I said this? Ok..you show me where I called out any team or any fan base. People here love to project what is being said alot huh?
  9. Yes cause they did the samething to all those other teams they lost to right?
  10. I explained what I meant and the purpose of that statement. Enjoy the rest of the thread. 👍
  11. I didnt mention any other team or any fan base. Try again.
  12. *face palm......* he plays for your rival team, the team you hate most...just like when brady was here!?
  13. You too have no idea what that statement meant....that statement was not comparing him to tom brady...it was to say that rival fans will discredit everything about a team in their division before conceding anything in favor of that team. POINT: when Brady was here, i am sure plenty of rival fans rather had in front of a car before coming to the realizing he was good. edit: I am wrong to generalize. SOME rival fans. That's true...time sure flies......so at bars, telephones calls, living rooms and water bubblers meetings then.
  14. Yup he is a helluva coach....if they are to go back to the basement, it's better to have at least tasted victory than to not know what it's like at all.
  15. Please don't play this game with me. And it's clear you have no idea why i made the statement i made.
  16. Yo..i can't with your evaluation of this guy, It's generally so off base. He is not as mobile as other QBs obviously, but there is plenty of film where he has either moved up in the pocket or ran out of the pocket, got rid of the ball, or made the following play after throwing an Int. or sacked good. Please stop with these non factual post about the guy. This has to be how it was when Brady first started out on forums such as this.
  17. big time sour grapes... haha you truly cant believe this..standing at the record you are standing at, losing the games that you lost...you aren't playing the Jets you are fighting for the division. Horrible approach to use the excuse of the weather too..
  18. That was never my point and i think that was never the posters original point or where ever you got this idea from. They did enough to score more than the Bills. Offense job is to score points, defense job is to stop the other teams from scoring points. That is what took place. You are arguing semantics just cause you do not want to concede the fact how the bills lost the game, or concede anyone's statement on how the bills lost the game if it's not pro-Bills.
  19. At the bold, yes and also the offense because it was the offense that put up those points the bills were trying to overcome..(both sides did their job) And you just got done saying it's not about "what' ifs" now you are using "what ifs" !?!? Yes because BB is the coach that has gone through this many times and won championships and division titles in these same scenarios (offense driving to score) also that's why you play the whole 60 minutes of the game, case in point. last year in their first meeting. Cam Newton and the Pats were about score late in the 4th to win the game, but fumbled the ball back to buffalo. My point, you never know what could happen.
  20. Respectfully this sounds insane. They scored more points than the Bills-so clearly the Pats offense did because the Bills couldn't tie or best the points that were already put up. You don't have to be impress by it. Cool. That doesn't matter and you're telling me the BIlls dont get surprised like that, that often. Then what was it when you lost to the Colts basically the same way? I am not implying that, but to say the pats just got lucky in that game is crazy to me.
  21. ok..it was nothing special but yet they did wait that long to adjust. Ok i wasn't arguing how good the pats offense was...so this is a mute point, and truly doesn't matter because through out that whole game the Bills didnt do enough to win the game..i mean i dont know what else in that game you wanna discuss if it ultimately resulted in the bills losing...i mean you will just be playing the "what if game" at this point. And cool. the pats offense didnt do anything in the 2nd half, apparently didn't need to.
  22. ha ha what???? The bills didnt win the game, good job you got down to the redzone BUT DIDN'T SCORE because of his defense...he wasn't in vegas betting on how many times the Bills will make it into the redzone. He played to beat the bills and did. I dont know how it's Belichicks fault" the bills lost is some how looked at as a negative toward BIll Belichick's game plan in that game.....wow Afraid of what? Who said you were? Yup they didnt score again, and guess what NEVER DID THE BILLS and lost. I mean do we honestly understand how the end of the score works and what took place in the game for the score to be what the score was?
  23. Huh, then whose fault was it? What bullet? The Bills didnt score when you needed to...the last play of the game Allen had to rush the pass because he was going to be sacked allowing the Pats like 4th string corner to break off from Beasley and deflect the pass? The pats lead the whole way? The bills waiting to the 4th quarter to adj. to what the pats were doing to them on offense is pretty telling of how ill prepare they were coached up to be.
  24. They won the game solely running the ball, they knew the weather was going to be a factor and the bills which were the home team never factored that into their game plan. That says a whole lot. You think some of those misses and drop passes the weather didnt have anything to do with it? Any way you slice it if you are to be objective, the weather had a lot to do with how both teams played. And as i said, seemed to me only one team prepared for it better than the other.
  25. Definitely and as you should! 👍
