  2. usually turns out that way...
  3. ...someone follows Tim Graham on twitter... it's ok, so do i....
  4. get ready tough guys(especially if you have kids)...this one is pretty awesome
  5. yeah but come on, in good faith he thought he completed the transaction. should be end of story, but apparently it isn't...i still say give them a call, i would guess they will have zero understanding of the situation or how to correct it and in the long run it will cost The Cat too much effort to fix their f*** up. that's why i say if the money ends up staying with you, donate it to a food bank. but again, i am not the most above board person...i download music and movies from less than reputable sites
  6. Keep in mind Chef is talking $235k interest...u still have the principal in the bank
  7. I read the title as "twins with herpes"...and yet I still entered the thread
  8. yeah he played a full set on wednesday, this is for WXPN and their weekly series, typically 40 minutes for the radio broadcast. a couple bands have gone on and just played the day away...dr. dog, dead milkmen, walkmen come to mind...oh and its free and a packed house is 450-500...so the setting is incredible. but talk about an introspective record this one is...holy crap. i'd love to see him hook up with patterson & the gang for a couple one off shows. its funny because his new bassist resembles patterson a bit...
  9. a few pictures
  10. Unreal set! He did: Live Oak Stockholm Different Days Traveling Alone Super8 Flying Over Water In A Razor Town AL Pines
  11. heading out in an hour for lunch with Mr. Isbell, should be an awesome show! if anyone is interested you can listen to it live at http://xpn.org/events/free-at-noon http://www.xpn.org/webcast
  12. it matters a lot....it vastly improves my image of you as a human being....it was pretty low before knowing this... i am a huuuuuuuge fan of the local foodbanks...i think it ranks up there among the best volunteer opportunities out there
  13. well, i am guilty, i have a check from my parents from my birthday at the end of june. i simply haven't gone to the bank. I do think Cat needs to make an attempt, but he shouldn't have to jump through hoops, in fact, i may say that simply making this 'unnecessary' attempt is 'jumping through hoops'. but if they never act on it, i would do the scenario i painted, use the money to go shopping for the local food bank.
  14. i've never been a 'phil' guy....that could change now...
  15. oh hell, i thought i had read that this situation encompassed the month of july and now into august, despite him saying it happened 2 weeks ago, i still had it stuck in my head that it happened late june(i know i said late july above). absolutely...give it time, this is a very unusually long time for a purchase to clear but it will
  16. ok, here's the solution....now that we know its a major corporate grocery store and not some backwoods general store. Make the call, they are going to have no clue how to locate the credit slip and even less of a clue how to resolve it. Basically you will walk away not paying the store any money. Next step, go to your local grocery store, spend $540 on non-perishable food. Drive over to the local food bank and drop it off to them. if I read this correctly, this happened end of July, so we are talking 6 weeks or so
  17. i assumed it was a country store in the middle of no-where, if this is a kroger/wal-mart type....you will probably get more annoyed trying to resolve it than it's worth, i would bet they wouldn't even know the first place to look to try and resolve it
  18. 10 - average rank of 23.4 12 - avearge rank of 20.2 30 - average rank of 18.4 43 - average rank of 21.4 48 - average rank of 18.4 13 - ranks as 22 most common PB
  19. i read that earlier...what a story....yikes!
  20. and also keep in mind...this guy very easily could have lost the slip and has ZERO way of knowing how to rectify the situation...you could be a hero in his/her eyes if you made the call and asked if everything was alright with the transaction as you haven't seen it posted...he/she probably has lots of mouths to feed
  21. since 1997 the numbers 1-30 came up in any of the white balls 55.53%(4570/8230) and 31-59 44.47%(3660/8230). I told you i needed a work break
  22. it'll catch up, give it time...for a manual transaction, they probably sat on it perhaps until month end(lets assume end of august), snail mailed it to their local bank as a deposit), its now 8 days into the next month, i would bet within the next couple of days it will appear.
  23. from buffalo rumblings Down goes Gaskins Undrafted rookie free agent running back Kendall Gaskins, who made a strong impression with solid running during Monday night's scrimmage, left practice early with what appeared to be a leg injury. Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com reported that Gaskins tried to go while clearly less than 100 percent with a wrap on his left leg, but that trainers pulled him out of individual drills early in the session. His health will be something to monitor closely for the next few days as he competes with Tashard Choice for the No. 3 running back job.
  24. here is the list in order of average frequency that the numbers come up no matter whether its the first ball or the fifth(example #41 came up on the 1st ball 42 times, 25 times on the second ball, 31 times on the 3rd ball, 36 times on the 4th ball and 43 times on the fifth ball) 41 20 26 32 16 22 40 42 5 45 39 30 13 49 14 19 48 35 8 12 36 43 7 23 10 37 9 27 15 38 28 17 2 3 4 34 6 11 31 47 24 44 46 18 1 21 29 33 25 50 52 51 53 55 54 59 58 56 57
