  1. oopsies...Thad Young....got Bills on the brain....
  2. but how am i supposed to view their pictures they send me so i know whether or not i actually do want a casual local hook-up...this is a real catch-22
  3. I did watch the game and he looked great...granted it was only one game but the whole team looked energized, Evan Turner played like people thought he could, Thad Lewis was a beast out there, Lavoy Allen was actually chasing down balls...I am glad they are sitting Noel to ensure he is 100%, if Philly fans can stomach a rough year of ups and downs, this young team could turn into something special.
  4. i used a kitchen aid mixer with the meat grinder and sausage attachments, plus i have a ronco pasta maker/sausage maker and they both work perfectly fine. Any decent supermarket will have natural casings and they are very inexpensive and you get a ton...it's fun to do...i may actually make some in the next week or so
  5. WOW, that is pretty cool
  6. i have done it for almost 30 years...took some time off but have started laying the ground work to get back into it...re-collecting equipment and trying to figure out the best way to brew in my small apartment
  7. in hindsight you are 100% correct, sadly for me, they were all lumped in together when i was younger during their hey days...looking back on the 'genre' of 'southern rock', i now see how far superior ABB were and how they were more heavily blues than the others. Took me a while, but I finally got there.
  8. i like all the artists paying respects to his music..here's a great cover of Walk on the Wild Side by Arctic Monkey's last night
  9. I am still very surprised, i am a Lou Reed fan and a bigger Laurie Anderson fan, and when this news hit, i don't think i knew the two were married.
  10. it was bud light...so it wasn't beer, but it could have helped put out the fire
  11. i became aware of her from the sonos commercial she did...i've been a fan since, and her new album is pretty good http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7Ya7/sonos-featuring-janelle-monae-song-by-deep-cotton
  12. in case people don't know her, she is a really entertaining singer, and she's incredibly hot, in my humble opinion. Here are her 2 performances. I prefer the second one, but really enjoyed both songs http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/janelle-monae-electrifies-snl-20131027
  13. someone else said something similar, i never really thought about it that way...
  14. my one overall comment on the game...based on the rules in place....is there a team that tries to hit high more often than the saints? based on the rules in place, they are on the verge of dirty...
  15. truly worthy of the rock and roll hall of fame.... great musician, saw him at SUNY Fredonia, great show.
  16. they should be on the list in perpetuity
  17. if sliced bread isn't on the list i am not going to put any faith in it...bacon too...and beer...and boobs
  18. 2nd best receptionist ever, behind Jennifer Marlowe
  19. I have Sirius...I missed Tues & Wed shows...I'll do on demand during my walk tomorrow
  20. my issue with boardwalk empire, and i have been advised to pick it back up, is that it seems very contrived. Seems like a cross between The Godfather epic and Hello Dolly, and Hello Dolly is more prominent. It just seemed as though they were trying TOO hard to make you believe it was a period piece. I know that sounds weird because it is a period piece, but i cannot get past the feeling i am watching a broadway musical in most of the crowd scenes, specifically.
  21. i wish they kept the retail packages in wegmans...that's the one thing i miss now at wegmans
  22. it's a great place and the Q is really outstanding
  23. yeah, shes highly attractive, but i'd take julie bowen any day
