  1. I also think it’s not black or white issue with LF. He’s older, not an electric personality, and is DC for a very D centric head coach. But my guess is he interviews well as he’s a thoughtful bright guy with a super resume. SB player, HC, DC. I think if he gets three interviews he gets one. Ageism is his biggest obstacle. So your saying that Elway has tampered with Rodgers and is making roster decisions at WR based on these conversations. Ok I’m sure Elway is not doing that.
  2. Wow trash is a bit much. He’s a versatile starter who can play G/T. Think he’s played better recently. They are not going to disrupt this line another time imho. LG will be Bates or JF that’s it.
  3. I live in Clovis suburb of Fresno. JA being local about 45 mins away and that they cover on sports all FS alum in NFL and Fresno area kids in NFL. It’s Raiders /Niners split here but Bills certainly are well followed due to JA and Bills success. When I’m out with my Bills gear on always get a wave or go Bills. Think it’s combo of being local and Bills are good and exciting to watch.
  4. At first I was concerned. But with the exception of the Raiders it’s our most favorable match up. All the Pats fans want revenge and suggest a match up with the Bills is ideal for them. Hoody less god like on the road in playoffs and we are the more talented team with better QB. Also sets up a potential second round battle with Titans and I’ll take that. If Colts go to KC and knock off Chiefs we could actually host AFC championship game. Lot of variables but Pats Bills likely first round I’ll take it.
  5. Fair enough about agents and rumors. Is he necessarily the guy I would want the Bills to after? Maybe not but I would suggest he’s got as much or more experience as MM of Raiders or Lynch.
  6. Guys get fired in football all the time. His name has been in play for several teams in some leadership capacity. It’s my guess between his NFL experience and his remaining dialed into to personal knowledge these teams believe he brings value. You may not and that’s fine. But NFL teams that are considering him clearly do.
  7. I believe he was Leigh Steinberg’s first client. They went to CAL together. SB was not bad for few years 👍
  8. Ok sure that’s the logic of your argument is based on maybes. You seem to miss the point. Maybe early losses and pressure when he wasn’t ready may have permanently damaged his development. On a team that clearly was not a SB contender. But maybe 🤔 😂, like you I’m not sure. What I’m sure of now is the development of JA has made him what he is today.
  9. Also no way of knowing if he would have been worse off by playing more? Beane was cleaning house and not interested or likely able to attract free agent talent at that juncture. So it can go both ways. But we can respectfully disagree. I’m gonna focus on the now and the future.
  10. The NFL is littered with high drafted QB’s immediately thrown into the fire too soon. That’s the argument of why the Bills were patient with JA. So now that’s he’s where he’s at what does it matter ? If he started the entire year one he might have been overwhelmed and not where he is now.
  11. I’m confused. Seems JA was brought along rather effectively. By every measure and eye test he’s a top 5 QB in this league currently. His peers from the same 1st round are not remotely where he is ( except Lamar). With respect to Lamar likely every GM in the NFL would take JA over Lamar for next ten years. KM is a fine QB who as the season progresses.. regresses. And has yet to get in or win a playoff game. That doesn’t mean he won’t. JA has been developed masterfully by the Bills imho!
  12. Seems that Kirby as the head coach could have called a TO. Poor clock management and if he’s so accountable how come his QB had zero sense of urgency. I have no allegiance to either team but Kirby came across obnoxious. Constantly on the field yelling at refs.. when his team got away with the worst PI I think I’ve ever seen. He was playing intense coach guy and it was embarrassing. Having said all that he’s a really good coach. College coaching is about the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s not the X’s and O’s! Kirby and Saban have that figured out. The SEC has been running the NIL system for 30 years 😂
  13. Michigan is as embarrassing as the refs non PI call late in half where Georgia gets int. And they have to watch the play to review targeting. Ref has to be saying omg we really missed that. Must be same crew who did Bills vs Bucs 😂
  14. Funny but not true. He’s early 60’s and looks darn fit. Had some good experience with Vikes and deserves a shot.
  15. Dane Jackson gave up two big plays on one of the second half TD drives. One was a 15 yard out, the second a big yardage crossing pattern. Otherwise he’s hanging in giving us decent play. Levi’s continues solid play.. would have had huge int up 20-7 that might have put game away early. S Neal solid in run situations. If we hold teams to 21 points we win in playoffs.
  16. Interesting how the rest of the league think he’s a good player. Would we all like to see him read and flow better in run D ? Absolutely. Is he a very strong pass defending LB? Absolutely. He hammered the Pats in the check down game this week. If we choose to not resign him it opens up a gaping hole that has to be filled. If Bills offer him a fair contract to stay I think he will do so. If not he will have multiple offers in the LB position he’s currently playing.
  17. Yikes.. agree. Like the Bills coaching staff having committed a career to position and talent evaluation would not see DE potential. I’ll go with the Bills staff on this one as well 🤓
  18. I heard JC as well. He was very very dismissive of ST’s chances. Essentially based on snap count vs regular players. Many players become eligible in the current era of increased stats. It unfortunately doesn’t look good for ST anytime soon.
  19. Neal is a solid option. Bills had him on field on obvious run downs. Bring very physical style. Dane gave up a couple big plays vs Pats but overall has not been a detriment to team.
  20. He’s a great player in space. OL get him moving side to side and over pursuing plays. I think he would get eaten up by OT’s on the edge. He is a top coverage LB in league but imho he needs to sit back 5 yards at LB to read plays better. Let’s keep him at LB.
  21. #44 Marv Hubbard from Randolph pro bowl FB for the John Madden Raiders from 69-75. Legend on NFL films for rivalry with Chiefs. Still has one of the highest avg yards per carry in NFL history. Chuck Christ Salamanca played for Giants,49ers, and was pro bowl S for Saints. Early to late 70’s. Played basketball at Penn St then FA made the Giants and had 7-8 year career.
  22. Some experts had Josh as the best QB in the draft. And.. they were right ! And everyone had him in the first round. LJ was the most debated by far. So while some were not sold on him as franchise QB, certainly not a laughing stock.
  23. Again just don’t think he’s an upgrade. Nor a process guy. Do you actually think he would be the featured back for the Bills at this point ? So more likely option two or three at best. Given his lack of acceptance of a limited role don’t think he’s a fit.
  24. Yes he played well for the Steelers where he fit in with an outstanding line and a balanced offense. They helped him thrive in his peak years. He responded by turning down 14m per year which he never recovered from. Subsequently he has done absolutely nothing. He is not currently viewed as a fast guy. Do the Bills have a great running back group ? No, but can they win with them-yes. Is Bell an upgrade at this time ? No ….
  25. Well if we want to comment on anything posted I guess we can. The guy is on the tail end of his career. He has trashed each of the three organizations he played for on the way out. And he has not demonstrated to anyone based on the past three years that he is better than what we have. He is not a process guy he is a me guy. Finally , not too smart to rip AR /Chiefs and the Steelers (while leaving 14m) who are arguably two of the most respected franchises in football. Thank you.
