  1. After further thought, if the stranger were a hot chick in a bikini, I'm afraid Fido would be on his own.
  2. I'd sic my dog on the stranger and then have him use his floating corpse as an island until I rescued him.
  3. Ugh! You get used to her, like you get used to herpes. She added nothing. Why did they bring her on? Was it to broaden their appeal with women? It was a bad move.
  4. If I moved back to Buffalo, I'd be very interested in a place there too. An amphitheatre down there would be really cool as well.
  5. That is a great site. I visit it every day. Has there ever been a Buffalo fark party?
  6. I couldn't, my scumbag friends would bring it up all the time in inappropriate places. "Remember when we saw your wife's boobs? That was great!"
  7. That is brilliant. You can pretty much do anythign with photoshop these days. Project for someone- photshop yourself in with our lovely lass from the photo.
  8. Bingo! I'd also make sure that I was photographed with her for later uses.
  9. I wouldn't want my wife to, but I wouldn't mind it if it were a woman that I was going on a date or two with then discarding. I'd make sure I hit all the hot spots and have as many friends see as possible. I'd be a hero.
  10. That is exactly what I noticed too. I thought it was a trap too.
  11. Here are some other concepts (for the same area) that I found as well. It will also give those who can't picture where this, a sense of perspective. As for waterfront housing, I think they can fill it, they filled all the condos in the inner harbor. But, I wouldn't go overboard if I were planning. They DO need a new convention center and to those that doubt the convention business in buffalo, they have been doing well the past few years. I'd like to see a plan in place more along the lines of what we see in this link (one includes a tunnel) rather than large scale high rise development. More of a blend of commercial/residential and public park that all people in Buffalo can use. The Buffalo News article notes an open air amphitheatre as part of the deal, that would be great, imagine concerts on the water in the summer? Great idea. http://www.buffalowaterfront.com/PlansProp...lopmentPICs.htm
  12. You would hope it would become part of a large scale integrated waterfront that includes Bass Pro and the convention center. You would need to extend the rail out to the harbor. It would be nice to see this happen rather than wallow for 10 years while the city council debates the pros and cons and delays it because of patronage reasons.
  13. This looks like a pretty ambitious plan. There are some big dollar figures attached. It would be nice to see it succeed, but I'm not sure if it is viable financially. Where will the money come from? I'd be concerned about large scale residential high-rise development along the waterfront too. I'd like to see more of a park. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20050113/1058425.asp
  14. Soem very interesting ideas here. The great thing about this show is that it makes you actually think. It's a smart show, even if it is merely entertainment. I'll retract what I said before, the monster must exist in some form, as it did kill the pilot. The French woman alluded to it and everyone on the island saw the trees being knocked around. I have no explantion right now. Then there is the buried metal object. Any theories about that?
  15. Sawyer in the police station was amusing. There is another story looming. Did anyone get a glimpse of the monster? It appeared to have no form. Obviously, it isn't real, it's in their heads.
  16. Colts for me too. Manning is an easy guy to root for. I'm not happy about Irsay, but I'd like to see the Colts win. Not the Jets or Eagles.
  17. Those things have a full stand up bar in the them, right? That's my kind of plane.
  18. His reputation just took a major hit.
  19. Rather than rob the store, I would have tried to disable the car temporarily (flat tire or something), but that's not the 24 way. I like this season so far. They got rid of Kim, that is good- her stupidity will not be missed, but she was good to look at so I was a little sad to see her go. I like the evil mom, they have a good group of villans. William Devan is a good addition to the cast as well. Great strategy to get everyone hooked by showing 4 episodes right away. I give it an 8 out of 10 so far.
  20. Sopranos and Entourage too, when they are on, which is infrequent.
  21. Lost 24 Simpsons Daily Show Arrested Development Honorables- Family Guy, Chapelle Show (this would be top 5, but they need more new shows).
  22. It's enough to drive one right back to Buffalo, the land of the sane.
  23. Nope. We don't get that or Columbus day either. Columbus day seems to be more of an eastern thing. People in the Bay Area celebrate Indiginous Peoples Day instead. They all lament that the land was stolen from the Native Americans. I say, if you are so upset, drive out to the indian reservations and hand the deed to your big house in Marin county over to a native american family and then head back to wherever it is you ancestors came from and then shut up.
