Absolutely this. I specifically watched Edmunds today, everything you say is correct. He also has no instincts. I watched him multiple times chase people out onto the flat when the developing play made it inconsequential to do so. Plus a lot of the time outside help was already over there in that general area. He makes terrible choices and often times much to slow to process those choices.

McD needs to swallow his pride and just focus on winning. McD has had 2 shots at beating Mahomes and couldn’t get it done. If he is serious about winning, he needs to look into bringing in more expansive philosophies.

Agreed, but the missing piece was White. He takes half the field away. It’s imperative that we draft another high end CB to pair with White. You beat Mahomes by having elite coverage abilities.

We have to find better replacements for Beasley and Sanders at some point, we have to take more weapons and protection for Josh. He cannot run around forever without bringing about serious injury. This whole draft needs to be o-linemen and o weapons.

I know you are trying, but at the end of the day he sucks. I can sit here and study quantum mechanics for 2 hours a day, and by the end of the year, I’m still not going to be able to do it. We need to start drafting better LBs with instincts and speed. Otherwise we will not be able to beat teams like the Chiefs.

It’s not happening. Edmunds doesn’t have the instincts necessary to do so. I actually made it a priority to watch him specifically on defensive plays. He often stays flat footed and makes poor coverage choices. One play he went out to the flat to guard somebody that was nearly inconsequential to the developing play. He makes tackles to far off the LOS. Rarely do you ever see him stick someone for a short gain.

Tend to agree with this. We need to draft a CB to help White and as an emergency in case someone gets hurt.

Wanting Super Bowls is not a unrealistic ask as a fan. That’s why we hire these people. Otherwise start looking for someone who can. I like Beane, he does an ok job, but with so much money on the books, he has to get better or we will not win a super bowl. It’s amazing to me whoever is scouting DB talent. They have hit on almost every DB we have drafted, early or late round. It’s the best thing we draft.

He gave us Addison and Butler (DT) . I’m not exactly excited with his d-line evaluations. I have hope for Rousseau and Oliver, but they need to get better. Are you serious? Lol

I don’t deny that, but I expect better. I expect super bowls. Now that we have a lot of money tied up into expense under performing FAs and draft picks, drafting is more important than ever. Beane deserves some criticism.

However our late round picks and UDFAs have faired fairly well. In conclusion, whoever is in charge of late round talent scouting deserves a raise.

It’s true every GM has misses, but Beane has missed a lot, especially on round 1, 2, and 3 picks. Our team is mostly filled with FA acquisitions.

Honestly outside of White, Allen, Davis, Bass and Brown , we have SUCKED in the draft.

The problem is, Beane and crew hasn’t shown me enough to the point where I trust them drafting trench players, with the exception of maybe o-line. 2 years on drafts and FAs and we still can’t win battles on the line. That’s a huge red flag. If it wasn’t for drafting Allen, Beane would be looking for a new job right now IMO.

If I was an owner of a NFL team, at some point I’m asking my star QB to sit down with me for a secret meeting. I’m directly asking him what he needs to win a super bowl and that nothing he says will be held against him. If he truly feels his coaches aren’t good enough, then so be it, say it. We all known Allen is elite, we can see it with our eyes. Something doesn’t feel right.

This is where I’m at. It’s the Josh Allen show at this point. If I’m Pegula, I’m going straight to Josh and asking him what HE needs to win a super bowl. If Allen truly believes he needs no offensive players, then so be it.

Wrong. Allen and our offense keeps getting to the playoffs. Allen could literally call all the plays on offense and defense and still be in the playoffs.
