  1. Kyle Shanahan has been around the NFL his entire life, I never had that concern with him Have you seen or heard Ben Johnson? Who would have ever thought that? That dudes loves to talk and be the center of attention.
  2. You don't want you HC stuck in a room scheming up plays all day and night. Your HC needs to be all over the building balancing lots of personalities. From what I have heard about the guy in interviews, he seems to be obsessed with the X and Os. At 30, will he be able to know how to balance his time where he doesn't give himself anxiety that he isn't spending enough time in the film room? I really think managing you own mind on time management comes with experience and age.
  3. He comes across as too narrow minded and unsure of himself. He seems to be all football, which isn't great for a HC. He will need to balance a lot more than just X and Os as a coach. He needs time as an OC outside of Jacksonville to get confidence. It's one thing to sit in a room and be an assistant to an offensive HC where he just draws up some plays, vs leading an entire team. Him and McVay have completely different personalities. I don't see many similarities between the two.
  4. I dont see him missing his son's senior year of coaching to be an OC. I think only way he comes to NFL this year is to be a HC. I personally would also feel more comfortable with him as HC if he can get a strong OC. I think him being an OC would be a bigger leap than to be an HC.
  5. Looks like he already pushed the private plane back, must be going well. Came in at like 10:30am. Was scheduled to leave at 2 and still hasnt left. Also it's not normal to fly in a candidate on private, but don't know if Rivers was the one to put the cost up. Its the same service the Bills use though. Flightaware
  6. Ken Dorsey did not scheme plays like Daboll, that was the difference. Daboll didnt yell at Josh past his 2-3rd year in the league. Daboll's last two years here, they were best of friends.
  7. That would make sense for a young Josh Allen, but Josh is 30 years old. No one is pushing Josh harder than Josh. Josh is what he is at this point. What the Bills need from a coach, is a scheme to get WRs open. Josh will take care of the rest. Its honestly a terrible take from Fitz.
  8. He's going to love McDaniel. They have very similar humor.
  9. So you don't think it's realistic to win 12 games a year? He won 11 with Tua.
  10. Its a weak defense but could be fixed with a few draft picks and a few FA signings. Im not scared of the defense if they hire the right offensive guy.
  11. Honestly, I think he would win a lot here so I wouldnt care how he acts in interviews like Belichick was allowed to act the way he did. I think him leading an offense with Allen and Cook would result in 40 ppg.
  12. Its more about Tua not being a leader. Josh Allen and Tua are night and day difference.
  13. Beane would need to figure out how to get someone to game manage for him. He can be the HC and OC, but the OC needs to be a veteran that manages things like timeouts and setting a tone in the room. Personally, someone like Anthony Lynn would be great for that. Would it really be terrible to have HC: McDaniel, OC/Assistant HC: Lynn (he will advise in game situations), DC: Weaver.
  14. I don't want my QB having to run the ball because his OC can't scheme a passing game.
  15. Josh has not improved without him. His passing stats are actually worse.
