  1. After watching today's game, it's clear that this team has just given up. Now, I'm not in the locker room and don't know what goes on, none of us do. But what we see on the field is a team with no identity. Good teams can lose, write it off as a bad day, but still know who they are. Whether it be a defensive team who is run orientated, a pass control team, whatever, just something that is our bread and butter.

Yes, we won some game in the beginning, but who were we? What were we? Watching the Phins showed what having someone with a distinct personality can do to a franchise. The dolphins made little player changes but are now playing like a Parcells team. Who is Modrak? I'd ask that about DJ, but you all know the answer to that.

In the end, I know we have the talent. Maybe we could use some upgrades, like getting rid of our overpaid DE's and get a control, not terrifed qb. Honestly, i'd be content with a Trent Dilfer. Just a game manager who doesn't lose games.

In any case, none of this is going to happen. Personally, the only solution I see is to throw money at Cowher, but yeah right.

On a side note, I am really getting sick of hearing about how much we miss Schobel. Why did we pay all this money to Kelsay if he isn't in the same league as him? Stroud is getting doubled on every play and our DE's can't get any pressure in 1 on 1 matchups. And somebody please remind me of the supposed havoc that Schobel caused when he was in there, cause I definitely don't remember.

  2. ..has a fantastic game today? I'm talking about a 4 touchdown blowout win against the Dolphins. Given the current fragility of Edwards' body and mind, add a head coach who's admittedly coaching to save his job, this board will indeed go into full meltdown mode.

I don't think there is way for JP to have a great day. I think we've learned in recent weeks that there is a lot of disagreement over the playcalling. Also, I think JP, while his heart is in the right place, has a tendency to wait for the big play and ends up taking a sack.

Our play calling is conservative, and outright dumb at times, and JP wants to be the savior. These conflicting philosophies have led to disaster before, and I feel it will happen again.

The only way this will work today is if, and I believe this to be possible, the other players feel the same way and jump on the "let's take it on ourselves" with JP bandwagon

  3. Well stated. I have never seen a larger collective bunch of cry babies who "support" their team then Bills fans. This board is unbearable to read after a loss. Seriously if the team causing you that much grief in your life and it consumes your existence, so much that you feel compelled to B word about the Bills 24/7- get some help. Take up knitting. Life is not fair. Deal with it

Are you kidding me Pete? These "crybaby" fans put a lot of money into this team. The Bills sell-out almost every game and have the 3rd overall best attendence over the past decade. Between that, and the cost of DirecTv Superfan, we are paying for this team as a product. So yeah, we have a right to complain if the product isn't satisfactory. And honestly, if you bought something, how many times would you allow the manufacturer to perform a recall before you started questioning them. It's been almost 15 years since we've had a power team and yet we still show up. Detroit, Arizona, Cinncinnati would all kill for our loyalty.

And if you don't care, then why are you even posting as much as you do? Personally, if that is really what Donte Whitner thinks of us, then he can kiss my @ss. We have every right to complain. I'm pretty much numb at this point after the last few weeks. Yes, I know that without Ralph we wouldn't have a team, but I can understand why people are starting to turn on him. I don't claim to know a lot about revenue sharing and whatnot, but I know that with the amount of games we sell out, there should be the money their to field a team. Hell, Arizona built a new stadium with the crap they've delivered.

In any case, the situation is a mess that I don't see turning around anytime soon. I thank Ralph for everything, but wish he would let the team be sold before he dies to ensure it's to someone who will keep the team here. Overall, I'd rather root for a losing Buffalo Bills than see a winning Toronto Bills

  4. Eliminated from the playoffs before December, after starting 5-1

1-6 vs teams with winning records

    We have no Quarterback

We just signed coach with a 3 year losing record to a 3 year extension

We have an owner, who while we owe everything to him, clearly will not bring the talent in we need or sell the team to someone who will.

We are again, within our current staff and talent, not even close to being a playoff team.

The Buffalo Bills, over the past decade, have one of the three worst records in the NFL. Buffalo, Lions, 49ers. Honestly, when you think of those other teams, what's the first thought that comes to your mind......joke

  5. When the Dolphins play the Jets, we need the Dolphins to win. If that happens, the Bills are pretty much in control of their own fate. That loss by the Jets would only put them one game up on the Bills. If the Bills were to sweep in the division, every team would have an equal 3-3 record in the division.

Once again, i'm not calling for miracles here and i'm personally taking any wins going forward as a pleasant surprise. Just thought I would drop some knowledge

  6. I have no problems admitting that McKelvin has played like a freak these past two weeks and definitely is showing great potential. I don't know what switch has flipped in his head, but I like it. I really hope he works out.

Royal can still kiss my ass. I want to see Derek Fine in there more.

  7. While McKelvin did impress, I still am not sold on Edwards. And you can't say you don't understand why people had problems with both players before. For McKelvin, it looks like someone just flipped a switch in him last week and now he's all over the place.

For Edwards, he has a lot to prove in order to make up for those 4 losses. Play like that will never be good enough for an team

  8. Yes, in the second half, he didn't look scared. But if he is a starting QB in the NFL, he should never look scared. The man can't be afraid to throw the ball more than 10 yards downfield and expect to win games. The kid lost us 4 straight. No matter how good he looked today, against the Chiefs no less, he still has a ton to prove

  9. I'm not gonna lie, this is the first thing said to get a response out of me, cause you are absolutely right. Are we officially one of the joke teams in the league who never get better.

I think we are officially one of the 5 worst franchises. The Lions, Bills, 49ers.....

Actually, worst 3 I think. Every other team has atleast made the playoffs

  10. what, did you create an awesomely original thread about how jauron sucks or about settling for a 47 yarder at the end. Or maybe, you talked about our record and what is going to happen for the rest of the season....

    maybe that's why.

Here, let's talk about pie. Now this thread is original
