Yes but he would have fared better with Josh. I'm NOT saying that I wanted the Bills to take him whereas I don't like drafting running backs that early in the modern NFL.

That said, Najee is a GREAT blocker and receiver. He's a good strong runner too although he does lack blinding speed. He would be a very effective weapon for Josh. and provide him with extra time. He would be an asset to the Bills.

Some pics of the "experience" (not mine but came from the Season Ticket discussion group)

Thanks for sharing.  Maybe I'm spoiled or ungrateful, but I find the whole new stadium thing to be underwhelming and more of a negative.  For all the negativity about pricing, PSL's, and the affect on longtime fans, seeing the new stadium just makes me angry.  Maybe I was expecting more out of it, but I just feel like it'd rather keep things as they are.  I don't see an overwhelming improvement with this new stadium that makes the experience drastically better and worth all the hassle that's come along with it.  I know that's naïve and the stadium has structural issues, but this outcome just feels like a step in the wrong direction for the city and the fans.  It's soured my opinion on the Pegulas and the NFL, and only reinforces the money grab this stadium has turned out to be

He's makes 2 less than Pat and they both signed their deals alot closer to one another than the new deals this season

Yes, Pat and Josh being 8th and 9th on this list should be adjusted after this season.

I know a Josh signing an extension next year seems to be the talk on the board, but I don't see why it needs to be.

He is signed through the 2028 season with a current cap hit that year of $45M.

Beane could easily just restructure $20M or so again next year.

I see Josh getting the extension at the end of the 2026 season.  He would have $15M-$20M in void year money then.

That's a good time for a new contract.  Heck, Mahomes already has way more than that at the end of his contract.

I see what you're saying, but you also need to take care of your own.  Josh is now severely underpaid on the market and I think they need to give him a new deal after this season.  He is easily the face of the franchise and we are nothing without him.  He's barely been in the top 10 for his position and making 13 mil less per year that the top guys.  As fans and the owners, we should not want him to have that deal.

  5. If Coleman works out, great.  But I just don't see how taking the 9th best receiver, 2nd round player, is us addressing the loss of Diggs and giving Josh the support to push us to the next level.

Considering that the only other starting position we drafted was S, I'm even more bothered by the Coleman pick.  If Coleman was the LAST player on their list, why did we not move up and grab someone else?  I don't think Thomas, Worthy, or Legette was on their list, or they would have taken them.  I think most people here would be okay if we gave up everyone we've drafted so far, and next year's first or 2nd, to have moved up to 9.

What makes me question Beane above all is, how is Coleman the only receiver in this deep class in the top 10 that they wanted?  And if the answer is that Coleman wasn't the only player, why did we not make moves to get someone else?

We keep dumping assets into the defense only to have that unit fail us time and time again.  We have NEVER really prioritized supporting Josh in these drafts with a premiere player, outside of Kincaid.

  6. What bothers me the most about Franklin and Walker is that we met with them so many times post combine.  For Franklin, if the combine hurt him so bad, why did we keep meeting with him?

Most of the players we met with are either gone or will be UFA's.  Just seems like we didn't get the guys we wanted, or just wasted those visits.

Never have liked those "I hope (other team) or (other team player) has way more success than the team or players on team I'm supposedly a fan of"

Take it with a grain of salt.  He fell for a reason and I trust the GMs.  I just want my ego to feel better 😋
