Yep.  This one is my 5th in a row and they’re always a ton of fun.  This year in particular, I believe it will truly be a takeover.

Ate at one of the Havana 1957 locations on Ocean last night.  A bit commercial but great food, mojitos, and live entertainment.

Taking a bike tour today with food and drink stops along the way.  Dinner tonight at Zaytinya.

    South Beach is fun.

We are going to see Inter Miami and Messi play tonight.  Tickets were fairly cheap.

We are getting into town around 2p.  Suggestions of things to do?  I’m with my parents and 12 year old daughter.

I can’t believe how high the ticket prices still are the day before the game. Still seeing the majority of tickets for three seats in that $150 a seat range. 😡

We bought ours two days ago.  We were tracking on a few seats and they started to sell.  Prices didn’t go down, and a few went up.

I have to think it’s the Bills fans coming into town and all trying to equally wait until the last minute.  Even some of our home games haven’t been dropping on the day of

Just don’t sit in the sun!

Yeah, we messed up.   We are directly in the sun.  We wanted to be on the Bills side, and the view from our seats showed us as being in the shade.  Then I looked it up on another site after buying them, and found we are in the only section set to bake in the sun.

  3. If I remember correctly, Moulds issue was attitude and effort.

Coleman, while immature apparently (considering his benching, as Moulds also had issues with), doesn't show the same raw talent or speed.  Moulds was absolutely ripped too.  Dude was a monster who didn't apply it to the field.

I think everyone here wants Coleman to be Moulds, but I just don't see it happening sadly.

Shameless LAMP as we discuss being coincidentally visiting towns where Bills are playing.

My company has a main division in Houston and is hosting customers for the Bills-Texans game. Guess who is not finding a reason to coincidentally be in Houston that week ? 🙁

I've had so many friends shame me for not knowing the Bills were playing in Miami this weekend before planning my trip.  I admit, it is strange for me to not know the schedule off the top of my head.  I knew they played this weekend, and just planned to watch it from the family house.  I'm just a little off this season.

The Messi game was also a pleasant surprise.

I'll be there. First ever pilgrimage to Miami to watch the Bills (I have seen the Fish in OP). I'd better not catch you and @Gugny engaging in any PDAs.

    GO BILLS!!!

We stop our PDA years ago and now require people to pay on our OF.

But not only a raincoat. Remember how creepy that got last time?

I used to play tennis midday in Florida all year round. Courts are always available at that time…for a reason.  It’s one thing to be moving about, even if you are exerting yourself. You’re sweating buckets, getting shade at changeovers and you can put on dry clothes. It is a special kind of misery to just sit still in the stands at an NFL game and cook in the sun with stagnant air all around you.  By November I’d consider a day game in Florida, but I’d be hoping for a cloudy day. I hope it’s not a factor this weekend.

What sucks is, while buying our tickets, it showed us as being in the shade and I didn't question it.  Plus, the canopy seems to cover everything except the field.

Needless to say, I was pissed when I read that the visitor side lower bowl is still likely to be in the sun.  I'm hoping it being November takes some edge off the sun, or row 25 is far enough back to get some shade.

As of now, I'm thinking I'll park at the Casino and walk the mile to the stadium.

  6. We know that the Chiefs can "turn it on" in the playoffs and knock us out.  We barely beat the Ravens the last few games.

I have zero faith in any of the other teams knowing how to win in the playoffs, and even with the #5 seed, there's a good chance we could still host a playoff game in the AFC championship game.  I think the Bills would be favored in all of their games as the #5 seed as well.  I know that Josh has never won on the road, but that's really only KC for the last 4 years.

Home vs KC or Baltimore would be scarier to me than on the road against anyone else.

On way to Miami now. We stay on South Beach — lots to do and see. On Sunday will Uber to Lot 95 and take the free shuttle to the stadium.

    Go Bills!!!

How is the shuttle service?   We are staying at a hotel across the street from Chase Stadium for the Inter Miami game on Saturday.   I was going to try and park at the Casino and walk from there, but am open to suggestions

Gates for tailgate opens at 9 am. Weather will be great. Humidity finally getting back to normal.

Drink lots of water and as someone said sunblock.

    Plus Messi. Quite a weekend.

    Have fun!

If you love Italian food. CAFE Vico is about 15 minutes from the Soccer stadium in Ft Lauderdale It's our favorite.

Is the sun really that bad in the seats?  The images all show the the seats in the shade from the canopy.

We are on the visitors 50, 25 rows back

go on Stub Hub and buy Yellow lot parking pass.  It will be $125 to $150.  Parking situation at Hard Rock sucks because they built a tennis center there, and the Miami Formula 1 goes around the stadium.    Tons of Bills to tailgate with.   You can pay less for an off site lot, but will be a shuttle or a long walk.

$125-$150 for parking?!!  Is that serious?

  10. We got tickets to see Messi play for Inter Miami on Saturday and a hotel across the street from that stadium.  We just got tickets on the Visitor 50 for the Dolphins game.

Any suggestions for parking, or things to do the morning of?

Rock Bar and Elbo Room on Fort Lauderdale beach are the places to be, and then a nearby hotel!  That’s where I’ll be w a group of friends.  This is another away game that’s going to feel like a home game.

Any parking suggestions for the game?

  11. Fish 37

    Bills 20

With Benford out, Waddle ends the Hairston honeymoon, going over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Cook doesn't play more than a quarter before tweaking his ankle, and the run game does nowhere without him.  The Bills keep it close, before a late turnover puts the Phins up 34-20.  A late FG ends it and Tua takes the kneel down.

I had heard things early in the day. The Bills were very active. Again, I don’t know where their line was on respective deals but they were in negotiations on multiple trades.

I saw the same things, so just curious.   I wonder if it’s all the same smoke screens come draft time, or again, people heard that Beane basically made a phone call to check in.

They cleared cap space just in case.

    I’ll give you that

Lots of activity today and some major moves. Of the Bills competition the Colts got better but gave up a ton for Sauce. Other than that, it feels like the NFC teams really improved more.

I’m on record as thinking that the Bills had to add a boundary WR. The Shaheed comp felt doable but probably had to pay a higher price than Seattle based on where the picks will be. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem like a deal was there to be had.

I know that the Bills were active and that’s what I ask of them. Don’t be too arrogant to think that you’re good enough in a spot where you clearly suck. They made the calls and tried to make deals. It takes 2 to tango and you have to be smart. I’m not going to hold this deadline against Beane. Now, it may blow up in his face if they fall short of the Super Bowl but he did try.

How do we know they were active?

To me, calling to check in is not being active.   Making offers, negotiating, or getting outbid is being active.

Not dumping on you, just sharing my thoughts.

Here’s why I was willing to trade a 1st and possibly more for a WR1.  This upcoming draft doesn’t seem to be WR heavy.  We also swing and miss at our last WR in the draft. Samuel hasn’t worked out and Palmer seems to be just a speed guy, not so much a route/speed/boundary guy

So, to me, to get a proven guy with a cheap contract for the next year or two, knowing Samuel/Knox’s contracts will be less by the time comes to resign the new receiver, it was a no brainer.

We don’t have anyone that draws a double team or makes a defense afraid at receiver.  We need that in crucial situations, if only just to free up someone else to make a play.

Also, if not now, then when l?

  14. I have to think that Waddle and Wilson aren’t available to us.

You’d think Olave would be into CB able now, but who knows.

Either way, I think that “everyone eats” tweet was very intentional.   Add to that Beane’s stubbornness about receivers, I’m sure he’ll point to our 30 ppg and Palmer coming back as enough.

We will pry get a DT and that’s it.

    Typical BS
