  1. True. And he did get flamed for it
  2. Updated vs results. Only got 2 picks completely right
  3. So, after too many people couldn't handle the question about who would be left in the green room after Day 1, I omitted that question. With that, there's a 6-Way tie for 1st place with 6 points. Unfortunately, not a single one of those people got the tie-breaker question right; meaning they didn't predict a single Bills selection. With that being said, here are the results and thank you to everyone for playing: Peace Out - 5 Kirby Jackson - 5 MAJBobby - 5 Will-GM-for-Food - 5 Whatdrought - 5 Virgil - 6 pi2000 - 3 Fearless Price - 5 Brianb386 - 3 BuffaloBarbarian - 4 CajunBillsBacker - 4 What a Tuel - 2 Alphadawg7 - 6 kdiggz - 5 BuffaloHokie13 - 3 BrotherChazz - 3 The Rev.Mattb74ESQ - 6 Tsaikotic - 6 Joesixpack - 3 PromoTheRobot - 5 ducej11 - 4 Chuck Wagon - 4 4thandGoal - 5 GunnerBill - 3 JohnBonhamRocks - 3 Dalton - 6 D521646 - 4 frostbitmic - 4 co_springs_billsfan - 6
  4. Yeah, the Bills drafted Allen solely because the Browns hyped him up How does this guy have a job?
  5. Yeah, pry tomorrow or Monday. Out of town until tomorrow night. But people can feel free to tally their own points?
  6. This honestly makes me feel better. I still don’t like giving up our 2nds in the trade up, but it means Mayfield and Darnold were never options. And, I trust Beane if he says Allen was better than Rosen.
  7. I really think our lack of DT hurt our rushers. We’ve now add one Star, pun intended, and Phillips who are going to be a handful. On that alone, we will be better. Add Trent Murphy in and we are already a hugely upgraded unit. Does everyone think we are good at OLB with just Lorax and Milano? Lorax is getting older and only seems to make an impact when utilized certain ways.
  8. We have Hughes and the the FA guy from Washington’s. Don’t forget Lawson. Why do you think this is a need?
  9. We aren’t there yet until we get another OLB and DB. We can be very strong in certain packages, but some will have weaknesses. You cant rely on getting starters on Day 3, but we have some cap and June 1 could help
  10. Deon Cain. We had a visit with him as well. I could see him in the 4th and the kid out of Buffalo as a UDFA
  11. I’m a little bothered by how much we are on the same page right now. But also, without being condescending, am happy to see you actually putting something out there for yourself.
  12. Passing on Chubb was the bigger surprise to me. Your pass rush could’ve been brutal. I don’t mind Mayfield since he was my #1
  13. To see the crowd go from excited to shocked/defeated between the words Josh and Allen was interesting. Beane better hope he wins...
  14. Hey Bill, good to see a post from you again. I personally am really torn on the pick. If it wasn’t for the new regime and Maylock having Allen rated so high, I’d be a lot angrier, but not for the reasons you stated. Of the Big 4, Allen was the one I wanted the least and we still traded up for him. Others pointed out his stats, competition, and accuracy issues already to which I agree with. The fact that he was taken over Rosen made it worse. The fact that neither the Giants nor Broncos ended up wanting a QB, leaving the option of a trade for Darnold made it worse. But overall, we gave up so much to get another project and I’m just tired of hoping a guy proves me wrong. QB’s that normally don’t go first overall still have college success that make you think he’ll have a chance. Russell Wilson was a winner. Big Ben had a high completion percentage, etc. Allen doesn’t have anything to me besides an arm and height. That doesn’t translate without the accuracy and acumen. Those are two things rarely seen fixed. I can honestly say I wish they would have traded back a few spots for their LB, traded back from 22 and taken Lamar, and then used the rest of the picks for WR, OG, C, OLB, DB. And yes, I hated the idea of Lamar as early as yesterday. But I’d rather have the picks and take a chance on him than what we gave up for Allen. We gave up two potential starters, which we desperately need, for him. But like everyone, I want to be proven wrong. I want Allen to be the guy for the next 15 years. I just don’t see it and it’s the first moment that I’ve lost faith in Beane and McDermott
  15. I made this prediction months ago and got flamed. Ah well
  16. C MLB was need and value. The players and picks we gave up to get in position to trade for a project QB will set us back. This is my first time questioning the process
  17. I don’t. But of all the top 4, he is the biggest risk to me. For it to fall like it did and trade up for him, especially giving up two 2nd round picks... This was one of my two biggest disappointment outcomes. I’m deflated and pissed. I’ll be happy to be wrong, but I doubt I am
  18. Basically. I just hate it. I would have rather sold the farm for #2 and Darnold. Whatever. Now I can be like all the TT haters and pick him apart for the next 3 years
  19. Why do I just picture SDS sitting in front his computer, eyes permanently rolled back, tums on standby, and just a extended sigh as the thousands of new threads pop up
  20. Pastor, Who is the consensus QB the fans seem to want? Will there be riots if it's Mayfield?
  21. 2 hours until the draft. Last chance to put your money where your mouth is
