Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
Virgil replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
In fairness, no one has enough information to know what he actually did or if he’s guilty. -
Matt Barkley Back? (Yep! deal not yet known)

If it isn’t Fitz, I’m good with this. -

Not first time ever, but this is the most money and longest amount. I think Kirk did it with his first Vikings contract -

This royally pisses me off. So if he gets suspended, he basically doesn’t lose any money. The Browns are good with that? ***** them. I hope everyone buries his ass and it blows up in their faces -

I like Mayfield to the Colts. If they weren’t in the AFC, they might be my 4th favorite team. 2nd is a two way tie for anyone playing Brady or the Pats -

This has got to be one of the craziest off seasons for big name trades and contracts I can remember. Wilson traded Rodgers deal Wentz traded Watson traded and deal Adams traded and deal not as big, but… Von Miller, Jones, Mack all change teams. Just nuts -

Agreed, but I didn’t see it happening that fast. -

Josh is now the 4th highest paid QB in the league. When Stafford, Wilson, and Lamar do their new deals, he could be 7th. You have to love how it all works out -
Star released. Pre-6/1 per Joe B, $1.5M cap savings.

I thought there was zero savings in releasing Star? -
I saw a report that said Rodgers knew Adams wouldn’t be back when they resigned him. If true, there goes that bromance and any credibility when saying it wasn’t about the money

One thing I will say, he did a great job as a spy on the edge against Lamar. He can really help stop the run. I almost feel like we will have two completely different lines for run and pass. And while I know that's normal, I mean a COMPLETELY different 4 guys out there for each. It's crazy

AZ cuts Jordan Phillips - now signed by Bills

It's going to be great not drafting a DT this year. We will be able to run some VERY heavy sets. Please NE and Indy, run the ball -

Drafting Jameson Williams will make us unstoppable
Virgil replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Slacker. I want it now! I'm wondering if he's a Beane draft guy though. From what I saw, he only had one year of production after be buried on the depth chart his first few years. From what I've seen so far, he might only be a burner -

How is his actual route running and hands? All the highlights I see of him are Kick Returns and Deep balls. We need someone who can also find the zone and make contested catches? @Bill from NYC -
Loved what he did here for a while, but just was too much of a distraction considering his declining production. I really hope we can find someone who can find gaps in the zone like he could

I'm still holding out hope for this signing and think he is more relevant now than when I made this thread. A fast, 3rd down back who can also line up in the slot....

I haven't even begun to think about this upcoming draft and I know the Beane isn't a huge trade up guy. Beane likes to acquire picks and we have a lot of depth spots to fill. However, with the recent moves and cap spending, is there a difference maker that will be there at 10 or higher, that's worth us trading up for? From my little research, there isn't a WR that would be worth it. I'm actually inclined to take that WR from Bama who is hurt. I'd be all for a versatile LB that could wreak some havoc. Every other position we need, seems like there's plenty of depth and solid starters. I know a lot are clamoring for that DT who ran a crazy fast 40, but I think our D-Line is set now. Anyone?

Levi Wallace gone to the Steelers on 2-year deal
Virgil replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
For 2.5 mil, does it matter? Tell me a play (not directed at you) after Tre went out, where Wallace felt like the weak link out there? I really don't get it -
Shouldn’t this be a on Saints forum?
