    This is tough for me, considering his injuries. But he was an anchor down the stretch for us and played 60% of the snaps on the D-Line, which is a lot for a McD defense. It's tough to bank a lot of money on him, but I don't think 6 mil per was a lot. Especially if it had the appropriate "out" clauses.

    I wonder if it's a new deal format or extension. If the first, then they would have reduced his cap number by 3-4 mil.

    That contract makes way more sense than first reported. I'm 100% good with that, even if he isn't on special teams anymore

    Looks to be a 2-3 million dollar savings against the cap this year, while locking him up for a few more years. Solid move
