I don't think it's going to be that simple. I wish it was. We have seen the distraction Diggs created in Minn. We have seen a level of immaturity on his part. I'd be pretty surprised if this goes away fast. It's likely to calm down and rear it's head several times throughout the season. I've seen this in the works starting last season. I don't think Diggs had the maturity level to let things go. Things will likely get worse in my opinion. Sadly, both sides really have no outs.

Help me understand the Ken Dorsey hate

I'd add in his offense with very elementary. He never really had a long term plan. One play was never used to set up another play down the road. He would abandon the run game from game to game or even half to half. Seemed like the offense lacked an identity, rhythm, and cohesiveness. It was clear his inexperience hurt the team. Lou A the Cinci D coordinator ate Dorsey up for lunch. Dorsey led Bills offense was statistically good because of Allen. Dorsey had little to do with putting the Bills in the best position to win. -
The Bills can still win without a focused and happy Diggs. McD is running the D. That's an instant upgrade. Guys are coming back healthy and the acquisitions will have a positive impact. Josh is likely to have a better Oline and running game. Dorsey has a year under his belt. The roster is still very good. McD knows how to win under adversity. Everyone relax.

That's a good point. It denitely is a concern and might not be the wisest decision. I happen to think Allen's presence alone almost gives you a playoff appearence. He's that good and makes everyone around him better. Plus, the current roster looks to be better than good. With that said, I think it's more than plausible a solid coach and coaching staff can take over and excell with this team. It's not a rebuild. It's a change that can reap greater rewards. Losing McD and Dorsey doesn't equate to the team getting worse.

He won the SB and he was possibly robbed of one by the officials. He is obviously an aggressive offensive coach. Imho, he's an upgrade to McD. I just didn't like paying the cost to get him. Yes, the Bills can do much worse than McD. Yes McD doesn't suck. Yes McD hasn't done much in the playoffs with a franchise QB.

It's not about going out on a limb. I can careless if I'm wrong or right. Often, I want to be wrong because of my pessimism. I've been plenty wrong here and have no qualms about admitting it. As a fan, I don't get paid to figure out how a team gets there. That's beyond my pay grade. I will say when a team lands their franchise QB their chances to get to the SB go up dramatically. I will say having a strong Oline is another important piece. As a fan, I can absolutely be critical of why I think the team has fallen short. Imho, coaching is an issue. I've watched McD basically get outcoached, out schemed, out manuerved, and out prepared the last two seasons of playoff appearences. I don't need to see more. Perhaps that's too judgmental. Too quick of a judgement. I get that. I have no problems with others disagreeing.
