Agree WR over RB. To me, it's not even close. In addition, I believe Singletary showed he is more than serviceable with a decent Oline. He was really good the latter part of last year. Moss could always improve to be a serviceable back up. I'm all for picking up another RB for competition. It would be a drafting blunder to take Hall at 25. The position or the player doesn't warrant such a decision.

Agree but it's still a hard no for Hall or any running back at pick 25. Beane knows this and I'd be shocked if he was the pick. Bingo!

I might be an outlier here...... Draft needs
newcam2012 replied to Yantha's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well I'll give you some credit for starting the thread and bringing up some valid points. I mean every team can always upgrade every position I suppose. Realistically, you could have put punter high up on your list. The Offense can always get uogrades. The Bills signed Guard Saffold who is a very good run blocker, RB Duke Johnson, WR Crowder, OT Bobby Hart and TE Howard. All of those players can contribute. It's not like the Bills haven't done anything to improve. On Defense Miller is basically a DE. Plus, DE Shaq Lawson, DT Settle and DT Jones. On CB they lost Levi Wallace and Tre White's status is uncertain. Thus far, who have the Bills acquired? Come on it's the clearest biggest need on the team. I have no doubt Beane will address this issue via the draft and or free agency. -
Listening to Greg Cosell today about 2022 draft class WRs

He would be a huge reach at 25. I wouldn't be happy if the Bills selected him there. -

Agree but I don't think Pickens is going under the radar. -
You are no fun. It's fun to play out the draft. I don't think anyone is saying they know more than Beane and company. It's a place to share opinions and give your input.

I am hoping one of the better CB is available at pick 25 or even like pick 20. The Bills may trade up. I think the Bill's can get a quality WR in the second round. Unless they think a stud WR is staring them.in the face. Also, the above mentioned scenario applies here too. I'm not an advocate of trying to move into the top end of the draft. Compensation is too step. I like the list. However if Jameson is there at 25 that becomes very interesting.

Don't like this thought process at all. Beane won't do this! WR draft is deep. No need to give up so much for a damaged half a rookie season wide receiver.

So are you saying Edmunds is replaceable at a much cheaper price? If so, I agree 100%.

If LB Devin Lloyd is available at Pick 25......

That's fair and I agree. How Edmunds plays this year will go a long way on whether he remains a Bill. Imho, I'm hoping for an upgrade. I'd be ecstatic if the Bills could get a 2nd round pick for him. Sometimes it's hard to see your own mistakes and cut ties before it's too late. It took them a long long time with Star. Beane and Coach McD pounded the table for him on numerous occasions. Look at AJ Epenesa a second round draft choice. He has 2.5 sacks in 2 years as a Bill. Why is he even on the team? Beane obviously isn't always correct. His biggest accomplishment is swinging for Allen and hitting a grand slam! As a fan, I think it's ok to criticize and praise Bills' management. -

Remember he drafted him. I'd say he isn't the most objective person evaluating Edmunds. Beane can talk him up all he wants and deflect the negative criticism as well. I mean do you expect him to say he hasn't performed at the level that we expected especially for a 1st round pick. We are hoping he can make more big plays and improve his football instincts. Of course not. The only thing he can do is to "talk him up" for trade capitol or to justify his draft choice. -

Could be all smoke and mirrors to bolster his trade compensation. -

I would just add that Beane drafted him and may not be completely objective. I'm not saying Edmunds completely sucks. I'll concede he's a good play caller for arguments sake. However, I find it difficult to believe the Bill's couldn't find a solid replacement. Edmund's range is excellent but his instincts are poor. He's out of position often, disappears in many games, and NEVER makes a big play. After four years it's clear he's not even close to being elite. Watch Micah Parsons for eliteness or Bobby Wagner in his prime. I think it's generous to say Edmunds is above average. I see him as mediocre. I'd be surprised and disappointed if he's a Bill next year. I don't even think he's worth 10 mil a year. I see him as a stop gap LB for this year. -
If I recall correctly the Bills tackling was very very poor throughout most of the game. Also, the Giants played ball control effectively.

It shows this in the documentary. Clearly states Kelly and Bruce were jerks early in their career. Later, they matured and earned much respect from the players. Quite a sight to see.

Did he beat your results? You are pretty good in my book.

What do you and or Beane think he does well? He's a solid play caller is what you are saying? Maybe he'd make a good coach? Edmunds is comparable to the freakish speed burner receiver who has brick hands. Great athleticism but his instincts are God awful too many times. Hes just not dependable and the lack of big plays is icing on the cake. Beane certainly knows more than me but he's not always correct either. Thos could very well be the case with Edmunds. Sometimes the fans eyeball test is truly a good parameter of accuracy. -
Watching it on the NFL network. It is so good to watch. Great insight from the other Bills players like Kelly, Bennett, Talley, Reed, etc... It's getting me pumped for this season.
