  1. Thanks for sharing. Very nice post. Glad you are doing better.
  2. Let's run it back and see what happens.
  3. Pretty weak response to be honest. Let me tackle what you said. Of course life doesn't come with guarantees. Never once did I imply it did. In fact, you were the one who implied the Bills will win one at some point. I was just pointing out that this is flawed logic. So your life with no guarantees was a weak response. Secondly, I never once said I need a Bills Super Bowl win in order to go to my grave happy. Nor did I imply others need that. You totally took what I said out of context. Come on man you gotta be better than that. Point is people have died before the Bills have won a Super Bowl. That's how long we fans have been waiting. Doesn't mean they were happy when they passed. Stop with your non sense. Past results do matter. What are you talking about? You just can't turn a blind eye to the past. That's just plain ignorance. Past results can be used to improve and evaluate your team. They are indicators of success and failures. Let's get real! Do the Bills have a new organization? It's been six years with the same basic people in place. A better chance a new level of professionalism? Are you comparing this Bills organization with past Bills owners and management? Is that allowed since the past doesn't matter? I didn't refer to any fan base but Buffalo. Your response is to talk about other fan bases. Very strange. I stand by the statement that the Bills fan base deserves more. The passion, loyalty, dedication, and love for their team and players is second to none. The Bills have repeatedly come up short of that coveted Lombardi Trophy. So many have been waiting so long to see Bills players hoist that trophy. Haven't you? Have a great day. Go Bills.
  4. Aggie, I like your positive perspective. However, it does have short comings. There is no guarantee that "one year it will be our turn." We've been saying that for decades. Many fans have passed with unfulfilled Bills achievements. Truthfully, Bills fans deserve more.
  5. Fantastic synopsis here. I can totally relate to what you are saying.
  6. Very well said. This is so spot on and echoes everything I wanted to say. Thanks for such a sharp post and representing a more than fair opinion. 👍👍👍
  7. There are a variety of opinions on here. From very optimistic to very pessimistic. Personally, I think that's what makes this forum fantastic. I want to see a broad range of opinions, suggestions, and ideas. Professional banter back and forth is great. It's more than fair and acceptable to disagree to disagree so long as it doesn't get personal and unprofessional. I understand this is a Bills fans forum. Most including myself find it more pleasurable to read positive optimistic posts. However, criticism shouldn't be discouraged or looked at in a negative way. Unfortunately, many on here feel that way. Lastly, I think it's safe to say we fans want a Super Bowl appearance and a Super Bowl win. The organization has come up short. They have a coveted franchise QB for 6 years and counting. Many thought by now they would have advanced further. There are obvious reasons for not achieving their goal. Of course fans especially knowledgeable and loyal fans are going to display and give their criticisms. That's what fans do! In the end, the fans always come back and cheer on their team. That's what we do.
  8. How can it be fixed? You have confidence that Dorsey will make the right calls, have a nice game plan, and make game time adjustments? Will the Oline be better? Will the running backs play well? Will they establish a run game that makes the pass game better? Will they throw to the backs? Huge question marks at WR. Who steps up? Is it all on Allen again to produce? What kind of support does he get? Lots of questions on offense. Defense has equally a lot of question marks too. This off season looks to be crucial. Is it likely a start of a regression or a reset to move forward and progress further? Hard for me to have a lot of trust in a Dorsey led O and a Fraizer led D. Just shaking my head in disbelief.
  9. I just feel frustrated with the Bills organization. I think you have to look at KC for a measuring stick. They traded away one off the best WRs in the league and have young defense. Yet, they haven't missed a beat. Buffalo meanwhile continues to fizzle out. The major difference is coaching and management not player talent.
  10. Really? Did you see the Bills play the Dolphins 3xs this year? Every game basically came down to the closing moments. More specifically, Miami fielded a 3rd string QB in playoff game in Bflo. Miami fans feel the refs made some very poor calls against them. They also talked about probably winning that game with a healthy Tua. Who knows? Their viewpoint certainly isn't outlandish. The gap between the two teams is very very narrow. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Miami wins the division. A lot depends on Tua's health. The Jets are another team that's absolutely capable of challenging for the division. They played the Bills well and had toe to toe battles. A healthy Brice Hall makes that offense more dynamic. He looks to be a game changer which the Bills lack. If the Jets get a quality QB look out. Sure the Bills will be the favorite to win the division. Allen is the deciding factor and their regular season record is good. A healthy Bills team is and should be the front-runner for the division. Nevertheless, the AFC East will be a dog fight. Certainly, no lock to win the division. Sorry, I don't see that as a stupid comment. Guessing Miami and Jet fans would agree. I'm guessing they will like their chances to unseat the Bills when the season starts. Why wouldn't they? The Bills are seemingly vulnerable while those teams are up and coming. It's no longer David vs Goliath.
  11. Very true. I think they have to be better by more than a "bit." The Miami and certainly the Cinci game indicates they need to be a lot better. I love Allen but I can say this season I had a lot less confidence in him getting the job done and finishing games. He seemed mostly human this season instead of Superman. The book is out on how to slow down, contain, and frustrate Allen.
  12. I never felt like the team was elite even during the winning streak. That really had to be one of the least impressive winning streaks I've seen. Beating mostly inferior teams kind of ugly. Never seemed like the offense and defense had a complete game together.
  13. Phil Sims just started that the Bills play calling inhibited Allen. Saying the play calling had no sychronicity. It was like no play set up another play. One by one individual play calls. Allen certainly can play better!
  14. What I'm saying is the Bills failed to fully take advantage of a friendly Allen initial contract. That was the big opportunity to make that Super Bowl run and upgrade the team with super stars. Solidify the trenches, obtain impact players, etc... Obviously, the Bills have failed on many levels. Doesn't mean they can't improve, make good draft picks, get more from players on the roster, avoid or limit major injuries especially from impact players, pick up new players via trade or free agency. A healthy Allen alone is probably worth 7 or 8 wins. Certainly, the Bills can still make runs and win the Super Bowl. I won't give up that dream. However, the chances seem to be slightly fading year by year. Especially, the last two years. The Cinci and Miami games was really eye opening for me. It really displayed the Bills weaknesses. For me, it's difficult to feel over enthusiastic and optimistic after such performances. Instead, the Bills are left with holes on both lines, weak WR core, wasted drafts picks, under performing draft picks, less impactful players, and early playoff exits. With Allen's contract things become more difficult. Beane explicitly indicates states this. The numbers just get much tighter and the ability to sign or keep big names become significantly more difficult. The Bengals made their Super appearance last year and KC continues to be a powerhouse despite a crappy WR core an an average defense. Clearly, the Bills are missing something that prevents them from advancement. It's more than luck that's missing when you whiff on playoffs advancements for six straight years.
  15. Very well said, great data to back up your opinion, and very well organized. I'm not sure how any Bills fan can get on board with Fraizer as the DC. Food for thought. Do you think it's possible that McD and Beane are holding on to Fraizer so he can be used as a scapegoat when things likely go south?
  16. Joe Marino does it for me. He not only knows the Bills from head to toe but he really studies the opponent of the Bills too. Really influences how I watch the games. As a Bills fan, I think he's almost a must listen.
  17. Truthfully, the winning formula has likely passed or at the very least is passing with wasted opportunities. The time to win was the last few years when Allen's contract didn't hurt the team's ability to spend and get game changing players. Make solid draft picks that upgrade your team especially on the oline. Fast forward to today and the Bills organization has clearly fallen short. No need to rehash the specifics.
  18. I think we are seeing Diggs' frustration with the Bills team. He wants the ball and the Bills scheme, lack of weapons, and coaching/play calling limits his production. As the ultimate competitor he is going to voice his displeasure. Coach McD was able to squash some Diggs noise. However, that will become more difficult if the Bills can resolve these issues. He will become a problem just like we saw in Minn.. Really great insight and post. Sadly, I agree with it.
  19. Injuries will always play a role in football. No team will go without injuries that doesn't negatively effect games. Just not realistic. To simply look at one teams roster on paper and compare It with another just isn't going to give you a true picture. Truly is a week by week evaluation based on many factors such as injuries. That's why depth is so important.
  20. PFF Grades 2022 WR Isaiah Hodgins 76.6 Gabe Davis 65.8 Isaiah McKenzie 64.2 Edge Jerry Hughes 71.4 Boogie Basham 66.4 AJ Epenesa 56.7 DT Harrison Phillips 72.1 Ed Oliver 68.5 Tim Settle 53.8 Jordan Phillips 52.2 OL (Pass block) Jon Feliciano 65.9 Rodger Saffold 51.0 Accountability folks. This organization has made critical errors in judgement when evaluating talent and spending their allocations. No doubt this has contributed to the lack of playoff advancement. Who has confidence they will get it right this year? Why or why not?
  21. Mostly true. Look at how the Eagles went after free agents to build around Hurts. Look how their players on both sides of the ball dominate the line of scrimmage. What did the Bills do to help out Allen? How successful have they been? Why hasn't the team advanced further? These are serious questions the whole organization needs to answer and look at. There is no accountability here. Many seem satisfied with the playoff appearances. It feels like we the fans are being placated. We deserve more and should have received more! This team frankly should have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl. It's a failure of Beane and the coaching staff to get it done. Now, the opportunity is slimmer because of Allen's contract and the cap issues. Missed opportunities...
  22. Come on now stop embarrassing yourself. Your argument is feeble, weak, and unsubstantiated by last year's odds. Need I remind you of the Bills odds throughout last season? Take off that homerism hat and see what's happening to this team. It's a slow progression towards being a very good team not an elite Super Bowl team. The Bills organization is handicapped by the cap, pending contracts, and a faltering coaching staff. We fans are left with hope, promises, and luck. I'd rather rely on talent and great coaching. Thus far, it's six years of an elite QB and counting. Coming up empty the last two years have been pretty demoralizing. What's gonna change this year to get the team over the hump?
  23. Agree 100%. Miami gave the Bills all they could handle in all three games they played. The Jets and Pats are solid and need QBs. The Bills are probably no longer a dominate team in the AFC East. Sure they are favored mainly because of Allen. After last year, it's pretty clear every team likely believes they have a legit chance to win the division. I don't think you could say that prior to last season. Imho, the Bills are no longer a feared team. The psychological edge is gone. Well I did win some betting Cinci. Easiest money I've ever collected. It was bitter sweet. I have to see the development of the QB situations in Miami and the Jets. I think either team has a legit chance to knock off the overrated Bills.
