  1. Wow.... now THAT's a team that has capital to move up!
  2. I agree with you. He will likely be gone by the 7th. I guess I'd consider him with one of our 6ths if he's the BPA pick. I agree, although do we actually spend a 4th on him with all the other needs we have? How would that affect Allen's leadership?
  3. I'm not sure how much stock to put onto the profootballfocus stats and ranking system, but according to them, Our weakest starter is DT Star Lotuleilei (actually CB Josh Norman according to his 2019 stats). I think that there's some truth to that. Hope Norman rebounds, and that we address DT and CB in this draft.
  4. I'd be okay with Blankenship in the 7th, but maybe not the 6th.
  5. And this is the result from TheDraftNetwork's enginge (okay I'm done... lol) R4: OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn R5: LB Shaquille Quarterman, Miami R6: TE Colby Parkinson, Stanford R6: WR Tyrie Cleveland, Flrorida R7: S Jordan Fuller, Ohio State
  6. I tried out the fanspeak mock engine... R2: EDGE AJ Epenesa R3: RB Zack Moss R4: WR Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michigan R5: TE Colby Parkinson, Stanford R6: LB Shaquille Quarterman, Miami R6: DT Raekwon Williams, Michigan State R7: FS/CB Shyheim Carter, Alabama This would be an awesome result.
  7. My BIG BOARD in order of preference: WR Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michigan CB Darnay Holmes, UCLA TE Colby Parkinson, Stanford OG Ben Bredeson, Michigan CB Lamar Jackson, Nebraska OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn WR KJ Hill, Ohio Stata TE Hunter Bryant, Washington WR Juan Jennings, Tennessee WR Collin Johnson, Texas CB Troy Pride Jr., Notre Dame
  8. I don't have THAT big of a head! lol.. That was my immediate rabid Bills fan take on the pick. Everyone's going to have an opinion, and I didn't like the pick. I thought there were better options on the board that I think would have made more of an impact. Now that he's a BILL, I'm over it, and hope he's the rookie of the year. I'll gladly eat some crow!
  9. Well, only time will tell. Even the top 10 guys in this draft need to prove themselves. Now that he's a Bill, I hope he becomes a force to be reckoned with.
  10. Gotta be honest. I like the POSITION but not the pick, at all. Way too high for Moss, and I personally think we could have landed him in a later round. I'd have gone with WR Devin Duvernay, Texas. Yes we have Diggs, but our other starters are over 30 and this in my opinion the WR's in round 2 were of better value. Most of the WR talent are bon afide starting material, where Moss will never be more of a role player/backup. Brown and Beasley are old and will start to fade, so it's very important to add youth to an aging position.. I see this as a missed opportunity. Beane got a HIT by trading for Diggs, and then followed up with an extremely solid round 2. Didn't panic and trade up, and got a very good EDGE rusher. Bad pick in round 3. In round 4, I hope he redeems himself with one of the following (in order of preference): WR Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michigan CB Darnay Holmes, UCLA TE Colby Parkinson, Stanford OG Ben Bredeson, Michigan CB Lamar Jackson, Nebraska OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn WR KJ Hill, Ohio State TE Hunter Bryant, Washington WR Juan Jennings, Tennessee WR Collin Johnson, Texas CB Troy Pride Jr. Notre Dame
  11. I'm a happy man. Got my #1 guy on my BIG BOARD Yes. Next we need to land one of the Wr's in this deep draft. Plus OT, DL, LB, CB, S. (too much to ask?)
  12. My pick in order of preference: EDGE A.J Epenesa CB Christian Fulton RB JK Dobbins OT Andrew Thomas DT Justin Madubuike EDGE Terrell Lewis DT Neville Gallimore
  13. My pick in order of preference: EDGE A.J Epenesa CB Christian Fulton RB JK Dobbins OT Andrew Thomas DT Justin Madubuike EDGE Terrell Lewis DT Neville Gallimore
  14. I like Akers because he has good vision to sort through blockers, and rarely goes down on first contact. I think he's a great compliment to Singletary's skill-set. Although shorter, I see him as a similar back as Le'Veon Bell. Just watching his power running style.
  15. My "BIG BOARD" in order of preference for pick 54: RB Cam Akers WR Tee Higgins EDGE A.J Epenesa CB Christian Fulton RB D'Andre Swift DE Marlon Davidson RB JK Dobbins OT Andrew Thomas DT Justin Madubuike S Xavier McKinney WR Michael Pittman S Grant Delpit EDGE Terrell Lewis DT Neville Gallimore CB Jaylon Johnson TE Cole Kmet
  16. Personally I see the following that could be contenders to take a RB: MIAMI JACKSONVILLE TAMPA BAY ATLANTA LA RAMS I'll be watching these teams.... Hoping for Cam Akers at 54.
  17. Could be! Actually I'm very surprised that E-Helaire went first! I wonder which teams are RB-needy ahead of us? Anyone know this?
  18. I've got: R2: RB Cam Akers, Florida State R3: DT Justin Madubuike, Texas AM R4: CB Lamar Jackson, Nebraska R5: OG John Simpson, Clemson R6: S Brandon Jones, Texas R6: WR Collin Johnson, Texas R7: EDGE Afernee Jennings, Alabama
  19. Curious what you guys think about DT Neville Gallimore at 54.
  20. I wouldn't want a safety at 54 either. I see some depth in this draft and at least 3 that I'd like in rounds 3 onwards, like Brandon Jones, Texas, and both of the top S prospects from Alabama.
  21. I totally agree Scott, but this team has draft needs at multiple positions, and I just think that a trade up would be a mistake. I think we need those pics! I really want Cam Akers!! but just hope he drops.
  22. I would. Even if the top 3 are taken, I don't think that losing picks in a trade up would justify an RB pick since Singletary averages 5.1ypc. We just need a complement, and I like a few beyond the top 3. Check out: Eno Benjamin, Arizona State Hey Scott, I followed the Chargers a wile back and when they drafted Eric Weddle, I felt the same way. They had two very good starters at the time and wondered about need. What they did in his rookie year is play him as the DIME back (and on the field an awful lot). Then, since the safeties were getting a little old (like our are both going to be over 30), he was the primary backup and ended up playing due to injuries to starters (that happens more often when you are over 30). I think it would be a smart move to add insurance at the position, and "heir apparent", as they say.
  23. I want a TE as well. Take a good look at my sleeper pick from Stanford, PARKINSON.
  24. I've got 3 guys top of mind in round 2. DT Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma: We have to stop the run, and our interior D-line is pretty up there in age. A youth infusion is needed. WR Michael Pittman, USC: There are plenty of WR's that we could draft in round 3 and still have great VALUE, but if Gallimore and Akers are gone, I'm looking at Pittman. RB Cam Akers, Florida State: I think he's the perfect compliment to Singletary, and would bring some thunder in short yard and red zone situations.
