  1. DangerRuss could have done something with 57 seconds and a time out I don't think this year's version has it in him.
  2. The Steelers toothpaste tube may have just run out of squeeze
  3. WTF, Pitts declines, then they accept, then Pitts takes a time out Strange decision making by Tomlin
  4. Steelers have a lucky horseshoe up their butt that Akins dropped that
  5. Should have been IMO though I'm no ref
  6. The Fat Lady isn't even doing her warm-up arpeggios yet
  7. I do feel for the Browns fans, but not enough to want them to win.
  8. Browns tried hard to sell that viewpoint to the refs but No Sale
  9. Honestly, I thought the penalties were all 3 legit. didn't need to grab the QB's butt and lift up on the way down instead of bracing. Didn't need to grab the receiver's mouthpiece.
  10. This is just based on what I've been told, but the gloves that work magic in dry weather, apparently get slick in wet weather. You apparently need special gloves or no gloves.
  11. https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/everything-to-know-about-patrick-mahomes-dad-patrick-mahomes-sr/ Oh, yeah? I'm offended by you being offended by those who are offended, so Take That, You Snowflake! Well, no one minds a little debauchery. In fact most people want directions to where it's going on
  12. Wait, wat? A Chiefs fan was assaulted on Reddit at the game? Or a Chiefs fan was assaulted at the game and it's only being reported on Reddit? Please explain. Oh My I had no idea this could be done *chef's kiss*
  13. Ewwwww. No, Please. I like "Kermit under the Hooves of a Buffalo" suggestion.
  14. Friends don't let Friends shop Walmart. There's actually a big hullaballoo in our local neighborhood groups right now, because the nearest Walmart has taken out the self-serve checkouts (due to excessive losses from theft) and not replaced them with (enough) live checkers. So the lines get hella long and inconvenient. I'm just
  15. Well, I mean, if it's his lawn, it's Sweats private property. If he wants to yell at clouds and kick trespassers off his lawn, that is his right.
  16. Why do you need to ask? Fair. Not a noose, not a hanging PS I could totes get into treating Mahomes like a pinata, using Bills defenders as sticks.
  17. I'm getting a peeecture....thanks for that image!
  18. Sweats 48 minutes ago: "choose to no longer participate in this thread" Sweats 21 minutes ago: (posts long screed about how he yearns for the day when emergency responders got to bag up un-belted ijits with their heads thrown through windshields and drunks were free to drive around murdering people "he didn't mean it, he was just drunk")
  19. Well, it kind of helps me understand just how unconsciously privileged you are and have been all your life. I guaran-*****in-tee you there were guys (and if there were any gals, gals) on your job who felt they were better off keeping their mouths shut and not pointing out the crap said and done that was offensive. Either you had someone on the site who actually had a relative or relative's friend who was actually lynched and who didn't find your noose funny, OR the Good Old Days you mourn were good for a bunch of paunchy white dudes who got to scratch their gut and har-har about how their ideal woman is 3 ft tall, flat headed, and has no teeth. That's really what it's all about - whether or not there's a dominant group that gets to define acceptable humor, or whether the targets get a voice. You mentioned "30-40 years ago" The first Federal seatbelt law was passed in 1968. 30 years ago, it was illegal to not wear seatbelts in something like 48 out of 50 states. 40 years ago, not so much, but that changed about 2 years later. So the time you're mourning must be older than that. Poor little atavism. Can you even see the contradiction between saying "I don't care" and the stuff you're posting here? If you don't care, why even bother to post about it? Just let it slide off your back, the way I had to let all the racist and sexist crap I dealt with back in the '70s and '80s slide because I couldn't afford, mentally or financially, to let it derail me from my goals. Didn't mean I found it inoffensive.
  20. Now this, is a very valid point KC does have that "easily outraged fans" bit going for them, starting with Brittney Mahomes getting all fluffed up and indignant that the networks dared to show her dejected husband on the bench during their SB loss to Tampa (never bothered her when the networks showed dejected opposing QB through the season)
  21. Oh, come on, really? All the stadium anthems you can think of? "You really don't remember Was it something that he said? Are the voices in your head calling, Gloria?" Took the St Louis Blues from last place, firing their coach in November, to a Stanley Cup. "Blues Win, Play Gloria!" Can't find a single lyric in Mr Brightside that works. Brief search: "Comin' out of my cage and I've been doin' just fine Gotta, gotta be down because I want it all" "But it's just the price I pay Destiny is calling me Open up my eager eyes 'Cause I'm Mr. Brightside" seem at least a little relevant. You really can't logic these things. The song chooses the team and they run with it.
  22. What's Your Point? Mine is in the context of benching Fields. It is that the team was winning, and winning at a pace that would have given the Steelers their best record since 2020. I think it's pretty straightforward to understand why that's controversial. No one is asserting that projecting a team's record from the start of the season means much, especially this Bills fan who remembers the 5-2 start to 2011 quite well, but it seems kinda silly to waltz in, take something completely out of its context, and declare it meaningless. If you don't care about the context (the QB discussion, or the discussion of COTY to which QB is relevant) why respond at all?
