  1. the protests may well have contributed to covid 19 infections but again they were not preplanned indoor events by a POTUS. There was no requirement to social distance nor even wear a mask. No cause for concern though. How many of his staff got sick? Hmm . But no one else could have yeah right.
  2. https://time.com/5864434/tulsa-trump-rally-coronavirus-surge/ There are no winners here. It was reckless to hold an indoor rally, discourage social distancing and the wearing of masks. I hope being outdoors prevents such an upsurge in S Dakota.

  4. https://www.tulsa-health.org/COVID19 look at the graph it is an astounding increase in time with the Trump rally. Other information included as well. indoor venue with no social distancing and few masks in evidence. But keep to your narrative that he was right to hold a rally in Tulsa.
  5. It will happen in S Dakota also. Arrogance and stupidity personified in a President and his followers. Hopefully no deaths occur.

  11. Black Lives Matter article that shed light on the subject for me. https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2020/june/the-shocking-truth-about-the-marxists-behind-black-lives-matter-organization-no-forgiveness-no-reconciliation People proclaiming Black Lives Matter" may not realize the radical organization they are supporting with their signs and sloganed T-shirts. I wonder if may have simply attached themselves to a catchy slogan with no idea of the intent of that leadership. I would tend to agree hence my previous post
  12. Have any of you ever participated in a protest since George Floyds death? I have. And there were zero cameras. And zero violence either. As much as the media loves to photo op the radical criminal element are 100's of people who wish their voices heard that don't advocate violence. Or anarchy. Or anything other that awareness of racism, the memory of slaves freedom date (Juneteenth) and the need for police reform. I know those folks don't get the publicity and are scapegoated along with the radical zealots. I think its a mistake to discount those voices as much as emphasize the violent Marxist ones. And the people I participated with were all races all colors and ages represented.
  13. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/trump-biden-anger-2020-focus-victor-davis-hanson Basically says whose constituency is the angriest will win the election. I agree.
  14. I am guessing novels have been written about the underlined topic. I'll find a link to one and post it. I'm not trying to be difficult. The answer to that.question wouldn't be done justice in a one sentence dialogue systemic racism is racism in my opinion that is entrenched into a society resulting in discrimination in matters of criminal justice, housing , employment etc to be acceptable, accepted and okay when based on a persons skin color stereotype
  15. Defend the Police not Defund. Simple. Eloquent. Is it original? Probably not but it's what I believe should occur.
  16. I think electronic voting is even riskier than paper voting if the right hacker gets a hold of it. Disclaimer I am not a hacker it's the "word on the street" aka what my misfit friends have to say. Entirely credible. lol

  22. Slavery ended 150 years ago GET OVER IT.. . I'm intrigued by the thread title. I'll watch the youtube sometime tomorrow to get all the info presented What did we ever do without Youtube? Ever consider that maybe systemic racism exists because of slavery. Maybe people just can't "get over it" that easily? It's a generational curse and scourge to their history. Very relevant to today and imperative we understand this view if any hope of real change exists.
