I don’t think diggs is the same when he’s not the main dude though which seems to be the issue imo…I’m really interested to see what happens in Houston where he likely isn’t the first option putting him on a team with other great offensive weapons seems to take away from diggs somehow 😂. Just my opinion though

I think the ‘dareus was so good until he lost his motivation’ is exactly what happened to diggs honestly. The guy likes being a star but just doesn’t like playing the game anymore it seems like. When other players start becoming the focal point of the offense it likely doesn’t sit well with him. Felt like his effort level dropped right when Kincaid started makin a name for himself

This kind of stuff always makes me chuckle when I read it. Chiefs defense stepping up in the playoffs is as responsible for their superbowl wins as their offense is. Where is this supposed superstar receiver we just traded whenever we play the chiefs in the playoffs? oh yea….locked down by the chiefs secondary lol

So funny the way this board works…for months last season diggs was washed up,old, dead weight.. now that we trade him we let go of an apparent superstar lol Houston is betting the change of scenery will help him but I’m not entirely sure.

It’s kind of an ironic ending that a massive wide open diggs drop caused ‘the process’ to fail last year lol diggs wasn’t right for months…not sure if it’s his motivations and maybe new scenery will help him out but he just wasn’t nearly the same player the latter half of last year

He ain’t gonna be any worse than diggs was the second half of last year to be fair 😂. This could be anything between ‘Texans fleeced us’ to ‘we fleeced the Texans’ depending on what diggs has left in the tank lol

That’s what I’m thinking…the tyreek hill trade has warped everyone’s compensation ideas a bit. Diggs isn’t even remotely close to the player tyreek is at this stage in their careers

I’m assuming that second is getting used in a trade up package this year but you never know I really don’t think it’s that off value wise assuming we’re getting at least a second…the tyreek hill trade just distorted everyone’s expectations. If diggs was 5 years younger it’s a travesty

I was just gonna say that lol. Like he has stats…much like Davis does, but based on opportunities both guys bungled they should be even better than the stat sheet says the classic receptions/tds/yards that everyone looks at doesn’t really tell you the full story. MVS def stunk at times in the regular season but he made some massive plays in the playoffs. He made a pretty wild tightly contested catch against us for a big gain

I can’t believe spagnuolo doesn’t get more credit for the chiefs success haha their playoff defense is insanely clutch every game that terrible Daniel Sorensen doesn’t get forced into the lineup surprising he never got another shot at hc This I would be 100% behind if mahomes didn’t do exactly that against the raiders this year 😂. He pretty much solo lost that game

‘Ideally’ he wouldn’t have started but he did start his first season with one of the worst supporting casts I’ve ever seen a rookie qb have lol I’m struggling to see how things could’ve been any worse it was the ultimate trial by fire 😂. Wr1 was kelvin benjamin who was terrible and cut midseason the situation mahomes stepped into was farrrrrr better and I don’t think it’s even remotely debatable. I think josh made Daboll a household name much more than the reverse and Daboll’s time with the giants will likely prove that

He got some buzz on the raiders a couple years ago…def could work out. Atlanta was an absolute mess last season

Kelce is a pretty good pass blocker and probably a bit below average in run blocking. Gesicki is one of the worst blocking TEs in all of football. Even at just blocking these guys aren’t close to comparable lol

Raheem Morris was a terrible hc hire imo…don’t think they’ll ever be relevant

He can’t block at all which is a big part of a TEs job lol I think most fans only care about their pass catching abilities it seems like

Yes that’s not exactly what I meant lol gabe Davis had a big chunk of wide open drops on those targets and likely had twice as many snaps or more those numbers being thrown around don’t really tell the whole story imo

They were in much worse shape than us idk why us losing poyer towards the end of his career and some other ok players blew up so much

One player can be clutch when the rest of the team very much is not lol that appears to be what is happening no idea how diggs can drop that pretty much uncontested deep ball when the jag mvs is hauling in contested catches all playoffs
