  1. Players line up behind the first down marker on nearly every play. White was 3 yards behind the marker. Chase was lined up 6 yards from it. White had to close 3 yards in the amount of time it took Burrow to catch the snap, throw to Chase, and for Chase to run forward 6 yards. White did so in plenty of time. (That’s a coaching win). White missed the tackle because Chase big-brothered him. That’s not a coaching failure. The Bengals players were bigger, faster, and stronger than the Bills players all day long. Some of that was due to being without Von and Hyde and White and Poyer being less than 100%, but in the end it was their Jimmies beating your Joes. No amount of firing the guy who presided over the number one and two scoring defenses the past two seasons would have changed that fact.
  2. Why would anyone want him? He averaged 4.4 ypc in the running game and 4.4 yards per target in the passing game. Add to that the fact that he had 352 touches last year (the exact same number as his rookie season), and he's likely to get hurt again.
  3. Allen, Miller, Diggs, and Milano alone are due for $53,000,000 worth of salary increases in 2023. The days of being buyers are probably over for a bit. I’m just not sure where you’re going to find $15,000,000 for a WR on the wrong side of 30. It’s time to start drafting well. Buffalo had the 4th oldest roster coming into the season, and that was prior to adding Von Miller who turns 34 in March.
  4. From a coaching standpoint, yes. White was in position to tackle Chase short of a first down. That’s all a coach can do. If your best CB misses a tackle, you’ve got a personnel issue.
  5. Just noticed the emoji…I retract my previous statement.
  6. That has nothing to do with Hamlin.
  7. That’s great and all, but sometimes one guy is just better than the other guy. Chase is a far superior player to White at this point in White’s career. White had a chance to tackle him short of the first down. Frazier put him in the position to make a winning play. Chase trucked him. Not much you can do about that as a DC. Cincy’s best offensive players (Burrow, Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon, etc.) are simply better than Buffalo’s best defensive players. Milano is a good player, but when he’s easily the best guy on your defense, you aren’t stopping a team like the Bengals. That’s not a coaching deficiency. It’s a talent (and health) imbalance.
  8. So you want Tre White trying to press Jamar Chase? That seems like a good idea to you?
  9. If your #1 CB has no chance of tackling the other team’s WR, you’ve got a Jimmies and Joes problem rather than an Xs and Os problem.
  10. Well they targeted him 10 times, and he managed 35 yards.
  11. Bengals still have to prove that they can draft well when they don’t have top 5 picks every year.
  12. So they let him off with a warning last year after coordinating the number 1 scoring defense, and he lets the team slip all the way down to the number 2 defense this season?
  13. Who in the world do you think would take the jobs? The Bills had one of the best offenses and defenses in the league but fire both coordinators? I'm sure coaches will be tripping over each other racing to upstate NY and be the next coordinator to be fired after a single season. This place was calling for Daboll's head for years. If he wasn't good enough, who is?
  14. Watson is a CB. He had nothing to do with the Toney trade. And McDuffie is a number 1 Corner.
  15. Traded for Diggs
  16. What does that have to do with the 2022 Chiefs’ draft class?
  17. You left out Pacheco who is the Chiefs starting RB.
  18. He might be the second best player Beane’s drafted.
  19. Payton is the most overrated coach since Cowher.
  20. Kelce does the subtle things impossibly well. He understands how to get the defender to just slightly lean one way, and then he immediately cuts the other way. Like Jokic, his footwork is perfect and he seems to have a sixth sense for what his opponent is going to do before he does it.
  21. How long has it been since the other remaining teams in the AFC last won a Super Bowl?
  22. A 99 yard TD drive with a backup QB isn’t earning it? Kansas City got lucky that the MVP got rolled up on and the backup got the ball on his own goal line?
  23. Scariest thing I’ve ever seen on a football field. Hope he’s okay.
  24. Absolutely should have already happened.
