  1. I think the weather thing is overblown. Any team in northeast is used to cold, rain, wind, and snow. Even teams who play in warm weather cities or in domes have many players on the roster who played in the cold in college like Penn St for example. Weather can help as do the fans but ultimately it comes down to how the Bills play on the field. I remember during the Super Bowl years the Bills rarely lost at home. They were just as dominant as the Chiefs are in Arrowhead and Seahawks have been at Century Link.
  2. When the Bills have a good team like they do now then the crowd really can help make a difference. Look at the Bills teams during the early 90's. They didn't lose to many in OP. If the team sucks then no amount of screaming by the fans will help. It will hurt this year being that the Bills are good and they have some primetime home games as well. Bills fans get extra fired up for those.
  3. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/153483-no-fans-for-bills-vs-jets/ Some Jets fans are happy about this.

  5. Manish Mehta is Sam Darnold's #1 cheerleader. That is all.

  7. But Jets fans say Darnold is the greatest QB ever. He is already in the HOF and has a gold jacket in their eyes.
  8. The Bills are the better team and should win. If this were a normal year I would definitely say they will be 1-0. Since their was no real off-season, no preseason games, I would imagine picking winners for every game early in the year will be challenging. I expect the games to look sloppy like preseason games do. It wouldn't shock me if bad teams upset good teams especially in Sept when everyone is trying to get back into the habit of playing football.
  9. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/153463-miami-allowing-fans-in-the-staidium/ Even Jets fans are making fun of Miami's lack of fans.
  10. https://wfan.radio.com/articles/news/wnbc-to-televise-2-giants-blue-white-scrimmage-games The NYC area will televise these Giants scrimmages on TV. It would be nice if WNY would do the same for the Bills. There is no preseason football so why not.
  11. Hope Josh and the offense can deal with the crowd noise. Every game this year it will hurt the defense especially on 3rd down and playing at home. The crowd going nuts helps fire up the D plus the offense has a harder time getting the play off. I think all offenses will love having no crowd noise to deal with but defenses especially playing at home will miss it.

  13. Talent wise in 2020 Allen & Darnold are the best QB's in the division. Cam would be if he were healthy and both he and Fitz are more proven at this point. One thing is for certain Allen, Darnold, and Mayfield have no excuses going into year 3.
  14. But to hear Jets fans tell it, Darnold is Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, all rolled into one and is the reason they will win the division.
  15. https://www.nfl.com/news/training-camp-buzz-ryan-fitzpatrick-expected-to-win-dolphins-qb-battle-over-tua- No surprise really. With no real training camp or preseason games the smart thing to do is go with veteran. The Bills face the Fins week 2. Although the Bengals will probably go with Burrow week 1 so anything is possible.
  16. It will always be either Rich Stadium or Ralph Wilson Stadium to me. As long as the Bills can start winning at home on a consistent basis then I really don't care what they call it.
  17. There is not enough alcohol on the planet that would make me say yes. Looking at that photo may cause permanent erectile dysfunction.
  18. They are doing the crowd noise for the NHL playoffs. No surprise that the NFL would do the same.
  19. Trick-or-treating and Halloween parties are the big parts of Halloween. It will probably feel like a regular day this year.
  20. Exactly. I think many parents will do the same. Halloween won't be normal this year for sure. It's a shame because the kids especially the younger ones enjoy that day.
  21. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out with students going back to school at all levels (elementary school to college). I hope it can work out for all involved. On a much less important note I wonder if there will be a Halloween this year. I can't see parents wanting to have their kids going around town ringing doorbells and getting candy from strangers this year.
  22. They probably could get 20K separated comfortably. The stadium holds 72K. It's an outdoor stadium so that helps as opposed to a stadium like NO.
  23. Same here. Don't they have a 55 yard line?
